The place recently got renovated and expanded! I love coming here for gummies. The options here are incredible. I love the sour selection. You can also treat yourself to some chocolate-covered nuts and some funky stuff like some sweets that you won't find in a regular store or get some toys or candy-covered roaches to scare friends.

It was such a gloomy, rainy day that me and Andrea took cover inside the IT'SUGAR store. Oooo my eyes totally light up like a little kid =) I grabbed a resealable bag to add some of my favorites such as peach and watermelon rings, gummy frogs, super tiny jaw breakers, multi-flavored gummy bears, and etc I feel that the prices are inexpensive to Dylan's Candy Bar. My bag of candies came out to be $4.47 then I added a $1 charitable lollipop to donate to hospitalized children. Very adorable store with candies everywhere mmmm

Came here to buy a bag of sweets. Bought some sour gummy and candies. Later, found there is Japanese peach drink. It taste sweet. Less sugar than other soda. The drink taste fruity. Would get this one again

It's Sugar is just a candy store. It's near Coney Island so we stopped inside. I didn't see anything really special about the store. No fancy chocolates or anything I wanted to eat. B. cousin bought some candy, just a little bit. I didn't want anything & I like candy.

You made it to the world's oldest amusement park, now you can't leave without a candy apple, cotton candy and stopping by "It's Sugar" . The selection is ridiculous, giant jaw breakers, over sized Twizzlers, and 2lb gummy bears. Candy with liquor and erotic candy for those consenting adults. Bacon flavored candy, gum, lollipops, and gel, yep I said beacon flavored gel in tubes. The customer service was next to none, no one greets you when you walk in and the security guard/bouncer is surly and solemn...is this a club or a candy store? It was crowded. It's always crowded its Coney Island in July. They accept all major cards and cash, please bring loads of it, it's pricey to indulge you sweet tooth in here.

Great store! You walk in and are transported to a candy wonderland! Aesthetically pleasing and a great variety of all sorts of treats including the world's largest gummy worm, gummy hamburgers, gummy fried rice in chinese takeout boxes and for the more adventurous candy connoisseur, they offer sugar coated insects like this scorpion lollipop that I bought! I had to buy a few things and get the heck out of there. Too much temptation. Lovely store

Now I must say I am not a fan of sweets yes I know, but this place is a combination of good old sweetness mixed with nostalgia. How can you go wrong. I came here with my son while out in CI have a day at it. I think I had more fun than he did in here as this place is quirky bright and fun. Dare I say it. This place was sweet lol

Sugar! In every shape, color and form. From gummy bears, sugary candies, chocolate, jelly beans etc. It feels like a sugar infused dream filled with all types of candies I can think about.

Ummm if you're looking for a place that has all of your favorite childhood candy, come here!! This place has a LARGE selection of candy. They even have huge candy that is like bigger than your face. It's a little pricey but that's what you get going to a store like that. Not too bad though.

Lol I went in here with my nephews after craving some Nathan's . I acted a plum fool in there ! We took pictures , sampled candies , and just got lost in the moment . Everything was priced accordingly . It is a Newyork tourist attraction but I was pleasantly surprised at the 2.99 for a 1/4 pound for the individual candies . We all had tons of candy . I even showed them te old school they had never tasted They were AMAZED at the old school cigar gums!! lol I gave each kid their own lil Bag with the Its Sugar emblem on it . After grabbing a bag full of my favorite strawberry banana gummy bears , I all together spent only 14 bucks and came out on top! Will def be returning Employees were very pleasant as well .

My wife got a package of Cadbury Flake (her favorite) and I got a box of Sno-Caps. We would have gotten a lot more, but we were headed to the Yankees game later, so wouldn't have been able to bring everything into the stadium. Check out was quick as well, so we didn't have to wait in line long to make our purchase. Will definitely be back our next trip to New York, and will make sure we don't have anywhere to be so we're able to get a lot more.

They also carry a lot of different candies and snacks that you probably can't find anywhere else. They had German Haribo, and I bought the yogurt flavor -- it was really good! We ended up purchasing a bunch of random new things we've never seen before, like Yoohoo chocolate and Sriracha chocolate. I actually liked the Yoohoo one a lot, probably one of my favorites. The Sriracha chocolate does have a spicy kick, but just a little. I'd suggest getting a less dark chocolate version if you can't really handle the bitterness of 70% dark chocolate. It is pretty pricey here, but honestly I understand why since they carry a lot of imported and unique stuff. Also, their tote bag is super cheap -- I think just a few cents more and you can get one. Definitely worth buying since you also get a cute souvenir for your trip.

It's more than an amazing store with an incredible selection of candy, It's charming, friendly and has a magical quality. Eugene is so friendly, ready to help with a smile and made me feel welcome. It was so hard to choose, I wanted everything. Eugene's has his very own candy creations (now my mouth is watering). "Freaks" are Eugene's version of Nerd's but so much better! He makes them in several flavors, and they are amazing! Who knew I would like chocolate covered cornflakes? I am a chocolate lover but I would never have thought of this combo. They are melt in your mouth while, being crispy at the same time. There is a large selection of gummies in so many varieties and flavors. I felt like I went back in time with many childhood candies that I haven't seen in years. I didn't know that candy waxed lips, fangs and mustaches still existed. I totally had to buy my dad Mary Jane's, such a classic candy. I most definitely will be back. Thank you Eugene!

For chocolate lovers, there are a plethora of chocolate covered candies and cereals. My go to are the matcha white chocolate covered Frosted Flakes.

I was there at the store back in spring and I asked about one of the candy boxes because I never learned hebrew and had no idea from the picture because it looked like actual gemstones. Well you should at least know what you sell, you shmuck. I had to argue with her just to get her to ring me up because she was "busy" hiding herself behind a rack of candy and she had to stop the world to ring me up.
