But today, I felt an employee was lurking, watching me look through the racks and I was uncomfortable. A piece of clothing had fallen to the floor near me, that I don't think I dislodged. The employee came right up near me, and hung it back up. I apologized despite not being sure I had done it. They said nothing back me, just gave me a dirty look. At that point I put back the shirt I was planning to pay cash for, and walked away. I glanced over my shoulder and they had already snatched up the shirt and moved it back to what I guess was a better spot. I just smiled as the person glared. Needless to say I won't be back for a loooong time if ever. Who treats their repeat cash paying customers this way? Three stars is generous, it's for the merchandise selection only.

It was an exciting day for sure!…read more The only H&M I had ever been in before was in Dublin, Ireland so I had pretty big expectations. I was not let down! Our location is much larger than I expected. It's the best use of space this location has ever had! The store was very clean and of course aesthetic. This location offers women's, women's plus, men, and a kids section. I gravitated towards the $4.99 shirts and $9.99 jeans. The pant sizes are mostly in European sizes (basically, waist inches) which makes the most sense to me. The fitting room was very clean and organized. The associate was more than happy to grab me another size. I ended up saving 20% off my pants and snagging them for a little over $7. All I had to do was text my email to a number to receive the discount. I LOVE that this company offers a clothing and textile recycling option. You can bring in your used textiles to be recycled and receive a 15% discount. The cashier told me you could bring in a piece every time you shop and still receive the discount. Helping reduce waste and saving some money? That's something I can get behind. I will be back and this is definitely one of my new favorite stores. I hope this location stays around for a long time!

In their defense, it was a Sunday afternoon and most things in town were closed -- which is understandable -- but the museum itself was open. I stepped into the gift shop first and immediately felt overwhelmed by the sheer volume of Superman merchandise. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Superman fan, but most of it felt like stuff I could easily find online. After wandering around the shop for a bit, I honestly lost interest and never even bought a ticket to see the actual museum exhibits. The town itself does have some nice touches -- there are several cool murals and statues scattered around, which were highlights. Unfortunately, the place felt like a bit of a ghost town that day, which made the whole experience fall flat. I'll probably give it another shot during their annual fair or on a weekday when more is open, but it'll be a while before I make the trip back. If you're a huge Superman fan, it might still be worth checking out, but manage your expectations -- especially if visiting on a Sunday afternoon. ----UPDATE---- After the staff reached out, I decided to bump up my review. Their passion for the museum really came through and I appreciated the response. As a huge Superman fan who grew up watching the original Christopher Reeve movies in theaters and collecting the classic TV shows, I expected something a little different. I'll definitely visit again on a weekday -- I'm sure the experience will be much better when I skip the gift shop and go straight into the museum. The gift shop was well stocked, but I personally wasn't looking to add more items to my collection.
