We had family in town for the holiday weekend and Ribs N' Bones did not disappoint. We were told there was a half hour wait for a table since the place was packed. We were delighted to be seated in 15 minutes. The servers and hostess could not have been friendlier and accomodating. The decor was rustic and tasteful and the place was immaculately clean including the restrooms. The food was delicious and everyone at our table was pleased. We will definitely be back! read more

First time visit and it was worth the short drive out of Warren. There's very modern patio seating with a tiny stage for live music. Loved the giant connect four game. We were seated and served right away as well. We got there early and that was the right decision because when we left the parking lot was getting full. So much to choose from! I opted for the Poolside Shandy (sweet hint of pineapple) and the Summer veggie pasta. I added the shrimp and it was loaded with summer squash and tomatoes and spinach. Wonderfully seasoned as well. Stopped in after galavanting around the area for the day, as Ribs N' Bones was about the only place open til 9pm. Was fairly busy for a Sunday nite, with most people finishing up in the dining area as we arrived just after 8. Took us a few minutes to get seated, but server was gracious & welcoming. My Girlfriend chose Steak & I chose the Smothered Chicken. Both of our entrees were superb! Her stake came medium-rare just like she likes it & my chicken was AWEsome ...very well prepared & flavorful! Nice casual atmosphere - also noted that the adjacent bar seemed to be hoppin'! Great experience throughout - we had hoped to make it back again during our stay in the area - couldn't, but it's on the list for next time! Recommended! read more

I got the third rack, ribs with shrimp scampi. The shrimp had feta cheese on it, which was a nice touch drowned in butter, but was very delicious. The ribs were literally fall off the bone I would go back just for those. They have a nice draft list which I was not drinking this night so you won't see one in the picture but it's worth going there just for the food or just for the draft list. The service was a little slow, but I Will definitely go back, it's the best place to find a great entrée and beer in the Warren Area. read more

Ribs and Bones is amazing. They have been for years. They're one of a few places in Warren that we have ordered from since before & during Covid & I truly feel comfortable with knowing my meal has safely been prepared as if I had handled it myself. They are open again and it's actually even better than pre-covid. Staff & regulars are always so friendly & kind. My parents were regulars for years. I only go about a dozen times each year and they still remember we moved to Pgh and come back to visit them everytime we are in Warren to see family or visit. (We did live in Warren Co during covid but did move back to Pgh 2 yrs ago) Meals are always great. Family friendly and the ambiance is one of the best. read more

I have a very high standard for 5 stars and Ribs N' Bones definitely hits it. Do not go here without a reservation. Seriously, it is a small place with a lot of fans! Very clean inside. One level with no steps if that is a problem for you. Lots of outside seating in the summer, and plenty of parking. I had a summer Pilsner by Tröegs Brewing to go with the burger and it was awesome! Family got the shrimp tortellini Alfredo and the 1/4 rack of ribs with broad beans. All were gone by the end of the meal. Want to come back! read more

Have to say the only issue was a fly in my coleslaw they should have noticed before sending it to me. Hope insects aren't an ongoing issue vs a one off. They were somewhat common around the bar. Its location is far removed from anything but this adds to the charm. There's outdoor seating and the indoor is nicely decorated. Plenty of parking. The server was so friendly and attentive. The food was just average. The menu had a lot of options but not much by way of bbq. The specials looked decent and the liquor menu is large. We had The beer batter onion rings to start. The dip with it was yummy. No complaints here. The rolls with honey butter were meh. I didn't like the texture or flavor of the rolls. The butter was good though. For entrees we had the third rack with shrimp scampi for me and wings for my other half. I got a baked potato and my other half got coleslaw. I thought my ribs were dry actually and kind of tough. My other half liked his ribs and wings. The shrimp scampi was good wish there were more than three shrimp however for the cost of adding them. The potato was good but seemed like the cheese had been sitting on it for a while. Side salads were good. Overall just average. It's good to have in the area. read more

Stopped in because this place is called Ribs N' Bones, it's in the boonies, it has a lot of glowing reviews, and one of the pictures someone posted was of pulled pork. All signs pointed to great. In actuality, Ribs N' Bones isn't a BBQ joint and doesn't sell pulled pork; it's as generic a menu as it gets and just happens to sell ribs. This wouldn't be a problem except that the food was greasy, oversalted, and completely without passion. Your order comes slapped on a tin tray and served with a side of stale Costanzo's rolls, and as you sit there stoically chewing on them, looking around at the ambiance and the money that's clearly gone into every aspect of this joint save for the food, you wonder just what's the magic ingredient everyone's raving about. Maybe the cook's having an off-day, or maybe the live music in the summer's worth it. I couldn't tell you. In spite of it all, my biggest issue is that the server was snippy and very, very openly trying to rush us out the door. She had no problem chumming it up with the big group across the room, but she did everything shy of saying to our faces "You are a waste of my time." Had a 6pm reservation, was told our table was still occupied by someone who arrived late for their 4:30 dinner. Finally seated at 6:25...no apologies from anyone :( Dinner service was efficient and friendly. Food was decent enough- prime rib was cooked as requested (medium rare), a side of green beans was sizeable and not over cooked but the side salad was tired and uninspiring. The other meal was a French dip. Nothing special. Fries were firm and tasty but the side salad was like mine- soft lettuce and not much of anything else. Will give it another chance sometime, but for now a little bit of a bad taste from this place. read more

My wife absolutely loves this place, I've never been really infatuated with it. Until tonight! Arrived got seated promptly, waitress came over promptly, drinks came over promptly. Appetizers came over promptly. The only thing I was disappointed in was the salad, it was just spinach leaves green pepper and onion it wasn't even close to being a salad that you would get before a meal. Wife had the smokehouse chicken that she said was outstanding, I had the prime rib which was cooked perfectly seasoned perfectly and extremely tasty. This was the first time going to this restaurant. I was impressed with the variety in the menu. You can find all kinds of meats, sandwiches, etc. here. I ordered the Cheese Curds, the French Dip, and a loaded baked potato. The cheese curds were nice and crispy, the french dip had good cuts of meat, and the loaded potato was so good I ate the skin too. Overall, this was a good experience. We had a reservation but after waiting 20 minutes we had to settle for a table in the bar by the busy front door. According to the hostess, another customer was lingering at the table in the dining room. At our table in the bar there was a bug strip full of dead bugs dangling from the window behind my chair. Y'all. What now, seriously? 5 stars? I get that you're not going to get Southern BBQ in NW PA, but at least save your high reviews for something acceptable. So the place calls itself Ribs N' Bones. It's not. They have ribs. Everything else is a typical bar and rural restaurant. There was not one other BBQ option on the entire menu. I ordered the ribs because I basically had to, given that. Now, I was on the road so I only ordered because they said it would be 10-15 minutes. (It took 28 minutes. I was about to leave given the long drive home.) Here's a rundown of the food: * Ribs: Not BBQed. Not that anything said they would be, but they were definitely only falling off the bone because they started off boiled. The meat was flavorless and that once-moist characteristic of boiled meat, saved only by the generous amount of decently good sauce. Came with two rolls - nothing in the menu indicated this - with whipped cinnamon butter. Rolls were soft but definitely out of a package. Butter was butter. * Two sides - A generous thought. Onion rings were way overbreaded, with the onion inside cooked to nothingness. They came with a cup of tangy dip (also not indicated on the menu) that was reasonably good. The side salad had a decent number of non-lettuce items inside, and the grapeseed vinaigrette was good. * My order was takeout. I asked if they did this and they said yes. So why were there no utensils or napkins? I actually had to eat a salad with my hands! I was so sure they would have packed utensils I didn't even bother asking or checking. Never run into that before. If I were a local, I would know better than to order Ribs or Bones here. I would know better than to order takeout, or to be in a hurry. There are probably some good menu items. There is certainly a good amount of beer and some other dishes must be good, so I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and round up from 2.5 stars to 3 instead of rounding down to 2. But seriously, this place needs to change its name and quit trying to be something it's not. read more

We were happy to meet the hostess outside since the place was packed and there wasn't a mask in sight. However, on the bright side of things, probably the best BBQ place in the area since it is the only one specializing in it. Do you remember the days where owners of establishments would come check on your table to make sure everything is great? No? Well you're in luck, from the moment you walk in the door, they care about your experience from start to finish! On our visit on October 19th, we didn't have reservations and they were very busy, every table was filled to capacity and the owner/hostess Amanda was still able to seat us quickly! Our server, Megan. was the epitome of excellence in execution. Even though Megan had many tables, we never had to say things like "excuse me, can I have another" throughout the night. From our appetizer order, to the time we paid for our check, Megan's attentiveness made us feel genuinely valued. The food here is just so good, there isn't anything these people can't cook. If something isn't done right, they make it their mission to get it right, they don't make you feel like a jerk. My wife and I have driven by here several times but finally decided to stop in. The parking lot was full, but the dining room was spacious and didn't feel at all crowded. The hostess station was abandoned when we first walked in but she quickly appeared. We both ordered the Delmonico which was a generous portion size with filling sides (she got the Fettuccine Alfredo, I had the loaded baked potato.) The wait staff was friendly and our food arrived shortly after our salads and bread. The atmosphere was cozy with soft music playing that was a mix of modern pop hits, some country (modern and classic) and even Megan Trainor's "All About That Bass" played on piano. We didn't feel rushed out and their coffee is very good. We are definitely going to come back. read more

our family went to dinner and all I can say is don't waste your money on this place. all of our food was cold and my dinner came and half of it was missing. I was told it was coming shortly but it took another 15 minutes and tough as shoe leather! my husbands prime rib was well done and dry when he ordered it rare. I sent my food back because it was cold and 20 minutes later it still came back cold. the "manager" came over and asked us why we ate a few bites! obviously we were hungry and tired of waiting. we ended up taking the food home for our dog. I don't know who's cooking in the kitchen but they really need to learn how to prepare food hot, my guess is that they microwave everything!!! we have given this place a few chances but we will never go back again! read more

We stopped here after heading to Jamestown for some family affairs. It was a nice little hidden spot and the customer service was friendly and efficient. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to start, and what stood out to me were the deep fried cheese curds! What a delicious twist on a traditional mozzarella stick. So much more delicious and I liked that they were bite sized and the portion was big enough to share. I then ordered a burger and loved that it came with bacon and onion rings on it! I asked for it medium rare, which it was. It was very big and I was only able to eat about half! The place was tidy, not crowded, and there were lots of choices on the menu. This is by no means a fine dining establishment with curated feasts, but it's good home cooked eating and a nice place to fill up with friends. I would come back if in the area again. read more

The food is pretty good. Nothing stellar, but I've never had anything bad either. It's the service that drives me nuts. If you go with just one other person, it will take just as long to get your food to you as if you were there with 17 people all ordering appetizers, mixed drinks, dinner and desserts. Much like many Warren fixtures, the servers kind of do the minimum 'checking in' on you. Moral of the story - don't go expecting to be in and out in less than an hour or more. Let me start off by saying this place really outdid themselves for me and my family. The other night my wife had a late night at her job where she is, what we like to call her, the CEO of the Erik L home. I'd like to start this subtopic off by explaining in a little more detail all that this lady does. First, she has raised all of our kids ages 6 months - 39 years old all by herself. I've been around but she always says that sometimes it's easier for her to just do it by herself instead of explaining things to me so I listen and take her advice. I used to work a traditional corporate job from 9-5pm in a large corporate accounts payable department as the AP specialist and executive assistant to the AP manager. Overall it was a great experience and I definitely learned a lot but they had to do a handful of lay offs due to COVID and I unfortunately was 1 in 3 people they had to lay off, with no severance- can you believe that? Trust me, I tried to fight this with my lawyer who is my uncle Pimothy. He is actually specializes in accident & traffic ticket cases but he let me use his expertise for my case. Anyways, since being laid off I've really tried to step up and help out at home. If anything, at least make sure my wife has a glass of water around her at all times. I know she doesn't need me strolling around the house with not much to do when she is so busy running the place so lately Pimothy and I have been taking up soccer. We found an empty field nearby that hasn't been landscaped in god knows how long but we decided to use this empty land to teach ourselves something knew. The other day we had one of our cousins come play and he's fairly short, last I checked around 5'2 or 5'3. The weeds were taller than him! It was really hard for him to run and find the ball. After playing for a little over 5 hours one day I came home and offered a weekend getaway to my wife. I told her I had it all figured out with who will watch the kids (who am I kidding- no I didn't! But she didn't know) and we would take a fun little road trip just her and I. She agreed to it but asked if she could sleep the whole car ride to our final destination since she hasn't slept in over a week. I told her of course honey! I'll drive. What I didn't know was how long it's been since I drove for this long. Boy does driving in one direction for so long really make you tired! My eyes were beginning to shut permanently without my intention so I decided I've gotta take a break. I parked at this nice little bbq joint and really had to use the restroom so I walked in and let the receptionist know I just needed to go potty. She advised that I get a table and order something and so I did. My wife stayed in the car while I got myself a few ribs and a side of coleslaw. Oh and baked potatoes, with all the toppings. Henry was my waiter and he ended up sitting down with me because he had a feeling I was lonely. We talked for what felt like only 20-30 minutes but when I looked down on my watch I realized 4 hours had gone by. Henry felt so bad that he let me take my dessert order of a slice of apple pie to go. He even added a little scoop of vanilla ice cream in there since we talked about that flavor being so good. read more

Being a friday night, they were very busy, but worked us in very quickly. we had a friendly, competent waitress that met our needs. Prime rib was fantastic, although a little more rare than i prefer, but tasty and tender non the less. Her fish dinner was as good as she has had anywhere. Prices great, good food, clean restrooms, friendly staff, what's not to like. Even found a steak named after a friend of mine that lives nearby. They have traditional service where the waitress tries to make your experience pleasant. You know, they bring bread, fill your glass, basically pay attention to you and ask how everything is. I didn't even want to give this one star as a foodie and someone who has a smoker and uses it often. I really had my hopes up for this place. The waiting staff was a little to lacks they barely checked on us we waited for a long time to order and get our check.The name is very misleading the menu has barely any bbq items. The food was mediocre. We won't be back I usually have a pretty good laid back and give people a second chance but for the price and the food quality I can't. If you have your hopes up for good bbq this isn't it. Go to an actual bbq place.I totally agree with Steve A at the bottom here he took the words right out of my mouth. I can see people thinking this is great if they haven't ever ate at an actual good restaurant or an actual bbq place. But if you are versed in the food world and travel and go to good places and eat then this isn't going to be worth your time. The ambiance of this establishment is pretty good, albeit crowded. Plan on having a reservation if you plan on attending during Friday or Saturday. They tend to have interesting specials that are tailored to upcoming holidays, but the food is mostly middle of the road. The prices are on the high side. read more

We are very grateful that the staff at Hampton Inn told us about Ribs N' Bones when we asked for a recommendation upon arriving late last Friday evening. We are former restaurant owners and my wife was the creative talent in the kitchen. Its rare that we dine out and really enjoy the experience, that being said this place was great. We arrived about 9pm and were seated immediately. We loved the decor. our server Shelby was wonderful. She answered questions and checked with the chef about a cut of prime rib my wife was considering ordering. We started with their French onion soup, which was spot on. My wife had the prime rib and I had a full rack of ribs. Both were excellent. I should mention we both had the sweet potato with brown sugar and butter.. Yummm. This place is Yummy. I have had their strip steak and crab cakes. Happy tummy with both. For an appetizer the stuffed banana peppers are done very well. Out the other night and my friend said she has only eaten the ribs and loves them. Good place. The bar always seems like its hopping too. read more
