    Sausage and double onion, fantastic!

Just a great visit all around! Service, cocktails and food were all top notch! I had a pizza which was outstanding , and my hubby had eggplant Parmesan which was next level like someone's Nonna is in the kitchen cooking. The sauce had a very bright and fresh flavor which was incredible. Do not pass this place up! It's a winner!

Side salad $15!!! This is a rip off!!!

First time experience... we ordered 2 pizzas both were soggy and dominos pizza flavor much better. Ordered a Greek salad $15 thinking that for the price, it was a good size and it look like a side salad when I got it. The container half empty. I called, thinking it was a mistake and the girl that answered the phone said that it was the right size. Sincerely there's nothing special with that food, first and last time eating from there. Franchesco is 100% times better and cheaper by far!!!

Had a late lunch there...food was OK. The salads were quite large for the lunch special. I got an eggplant Parmesan, not part of the lunch special so I did not get a salad. The marinara was not the best. The eggplant was cooked very well. I was told that the cheese pizza was a little peppery.

We were visiting a family member, and this restaurant came recommended. As soon as you walk in the smell, just takes you over. Reminds me of the old school Italian restaurants back home in CT. The restaurant has a very cozy feeling. They have an awesome drink special and full bar. The waitress was friendly and attentive. And we did not have to ask for anything. Out of the ordinary. We got a couple of appetizers, which were very good. My pasta could have had a little bit more sauce, but meatballs were good. Next time, I think we will try the pizza. If you're looking for a quick bite, and some decent italian food. This place is worth the visit.

After seeing how far it was from me, I didn't think I'd ever get the chance to sample . However, I found myself in a situation where I felt I could make the 30 minute (each way) drive. I was a little disappointed as I pulled into the parking lot got as, the building isn't exactly easy on the eye. But, I didn't let that sway me. Got there at about 12:15pm on a Thursday and saw lots of activity coming and going. There would about 3 or 4 people in front of me and I waited. As I waited, I watched. There didn't seem to be an efficient work flow in the kitchen. A lot of running back and forth instead of having things "right there". This translated into long service times. Got down to just one person in front of me and things stalled even more as there was much talking about this and that. The line behind me grew to about 10 people. If it wasn't so hot outside I believe the line would have gone out the door. I'll admit that I just about gave up as it probably was close to 15 minutes before taking my order. But, I stayed put. Angelo took my order of an Italian Combo and asked if I wanted it "All The Way". Always. However, I understand that "All The Way" means different things to different people but, I'm good to experience it, "however Christina's of Bellevue " sees it. Angelo was quick to clarify, however, that, "All The Way" meant having mayonnaise on the sandwich and, seeing me with my New York Mets hat on, wanted to be sure that's what I wanted or to just have "sub sauce" on it. Any respecting Italian Combo eater knows that putting mayo on this type of sandwich is an absolute travesty, and Angelo picked up on that he was dealing with an expert. Not exactly sure what "sub sauce" is but, let's go with it. Wasn't as long of a wait in the construction of the sandwich as I thought and I paid my cash (only btw) and was out the door for the 30 minute treck to west Ocala. I was happy at the butcher paper and masking tape wrap. I don't know why this matters, it just does! I unwrapped the sandwich and was pleased to see some soggyness. I realize that some people don't appreciate this type of thing but, I usually order by Italian combos with extra vinegar just for the soggyness. A little disappointed in the bread at first glance as it did not contain sesame seeds and was a little soft, soggyness not withstanding. Bread being the number factor in a good sandwich and, clearly the area is challenged in that respect. I dove in. The overall taste was very good. I would suggest to explain that the sandwich contains sweet banana pepper rings. I like that but, would be informative for the buyer to know that the sandwich is coming this way and perhaps give them the choice of hot or sweet pepper rings, or none at all. There was a sweet undertone to the sandwich beyond the sweet pepper rings and, I'm not sure if this was from the "sub sauce". I would make this my main criticism on the overall taste of the Italian combo. Make a "dressing" of extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt/pepper/oregano/basil.....maybe a squirt of lemon juice, and that's what should be the "sub sauce". It did have a "store bought" quality to it. Nonetheless, I devoured both halves extremely quickly. Fair price at $11. Give it a try but, bring your patience and cash. Yes, I concur, best I've had in the area!!!!

They are all friendly, attentive & efficient. We had an omelette with Italian pizza sausage, mushroom and provolone, and grits. When I get to my car and look in the bag I almost died immediately... how in the hell do you wrap Saran Wrap around styrofoam is beyond me but it was. So whatever hope I had of getting crispy wings just went out the window. You don't desecrate wings like this. Pissed off as I was because I knew what was coming I unwrapped them and lo and behold everything moist from the condensation... I bit into 2 wings just to give it a try because you never know.... Nah bruh... wings were unseasoned , bland and hard as hell. Will I listen to people .... Nah bruh... I'm good. I trust my NY BROOKYN BRED tastebuds too much. The disrespect of the wings is way too much. Pizza was meh at best
