Pretty good and unique Thai fusion with Texas BBQ! Without compromising authentic Thai flavors! We order chicken pad Thai, never had chicken with pad Thai but it was delicious. The brisket massaman curry was the standout. The brisket Smokey aroma with the rich curry sauce was definitely one of a kind! The Tom Kha Gai was nice and savory soup. The only let down was the mango sticky rice, the rice was mixed with appeared to be red bean and the coconut sauce was watery.

I don't normally do bad reviews like this but I am very disappointed. We've been here a couple of times before and while the food is tasty, it always gives me a weird feeling like sleepy/brain fog after. Even my husband did. I happen to check my blood sugar after eating their brussels sprouts and grilled chicken and my blood sugar was 200+ and I am not even diabetic. Goes to show how much hidden sugar they add in the sauce. They did not entertain our food request substitution on another occasion. We had to wait longer because the waiter gave us the wrong food I had ordered and was gas lighted that I was the one who changed my mind. Another separate encounter was I placed an order online without realizing the earliest I can pick up was an hour later. I sent my husband to pick it up 25 mins later and it wasn't ready so he went home. I called the restaurant but no answer so I replied to the order confirmation text message I received earlier that I want to cancel order is it not going it be ready for another 30+ minutes. A minute later I got a confirmation that my order was ready for pick up. I was like great they are awesome and was able to prepare my order fast! So I sent my husband back to the restaurant again only for them to tell him they haven't made the food yet because I cancelled. I guess that's what I get for cancelling? The excuse was there's a glitch in the system that instead of sending me a cancelled confirmation, they sent me the order ready for pick up instead. Nobody tried to make it right. The Asian lady was just like sorry for the inconvenience. They hire high schoolers as staff who are clearly not trained well which I'm not going to write another paragraph about past experience with bad service, etc. I hope owner will do something to improve. Or maybe not since they are always busy anyway, she won't care about this.

    Shrimp Pad Thai (togo)

I love Thai food; never had it until around 2008 just when I started my Yelp journey in Austin. Small town Drip actually has two new Thai places. One in a trailer and brick and mortar Rice and Oak. Heard it's an offshoot of another trailer AROI just down the road. Sitting at my desk about 6 miles away I chose to order online. Two identical orders; two different results. Square website says please DON'T arrive before the time suggested. Well, for this one it's 45 minutes out. Back to work but all of a sudden 15 minutes later my order is ready. Drove to Drip; headed back to my desk. Flavor is good but the shrimp are overcooked. Like knife to cut them. This is a premium dish at $16 plus fees, sales tax, and tip. OK, maybe it was a fluke. I try again within a few weeks. Same exact order. Again, 45 minutes out. About 30 minutes into the wait I head into Drip. Spend a few minutes swiping around on my phone. Walk in with 3 minutes togo. This time, they haven't even started my order. I ask about my food; I was told 5 minutes. At 8 minutes I'm asking for a refund. I'm IGNORED. At 12 minutes past I'm finally handed my food. Shrimp were better but this place has a few kinks to work out.

What a great little spot tucked away and on Mall with big flavors and great service. Stopped in for a late lunch and had a nice time! We tried the coconut shrimp app and came with green beans in the mix. Very tasty but less coconut than Im used to. Duck.leg curry was next. Good flavors but something seemed a bit off in the balance. Still I enjoyed it and the duck was very tender. My friend had the Chicken Pad Thai and she loved it. The chicken on top was grilled, so it added a great element to the dish. Thai tea was delicious, as well. Definitely worth a revisit to try other items.

Absolutely incredible food!!! I cannot express how much I love the brisket curry and bbq pork noodles. Everything is extremely high quality, unique and made fresh to order. The restaurant is tiny so there can be a bit of wait but the staff are so nice. They are newer and get busy so sometimes it can be a little slow. I have also done pickup here and been very impressed.

Cool atmosphere, food was incredible, only complaint was that it took a while to get seated, and then the lady that sent us was also the waiter, and she was the only one in the entire restaurant. But I would definitely go back and the food is incredible.

What the what!! Order the brisket pad Thai... it's the BEST twist on Thai ever! Service was excellent. Food was served within 10 mins and it was delish!

Excellent food. Meats had a great smoky flavor. The brisket was delicious and tender. Portions were on the smaller side, but pricing matches as it's quite affordable. Pictures below: Vegetable red curry add brisket and the chicken pad Thai. Highly recommend!

I can say the ambiance is wonderful. It is a beautiful place. Our previous attending and food choices/selections were fantastic. In preparation for, since two had not been there, I pointed them to the online menu. First mistake, the menu is old and requires update. I think if I had known that I would not have made Tilley's an option. The prices of everything were pretty high. And based on the food we selected, most was not worth the cost. One order included Short Rib Pasta with a thin pasta as tagliolini. Instead, I receive a pulled pork with a very thick pasta. I did not care for it. I like thin pasta. Pictures display what was provided and a typical Northern Italy dish of tagliolini. Because I am not certain of the plate names, I can only comment as to what our group had to say. And of course, the menu online is still not up to date. Steak Frites. The steak was a little tough and cold. It did not really have a real flavor. It was accompanied by fries that were not tasty at all. Thank God for ketchup. House made Focaccia, as an appetizer, was a good size that could be shared among the 4 of us. Make sure to ask for extra butter because they only provide a small container. As big as it is and 4 adults, you would think they would automatically provide enough butter for each. The night was so busy that when we finally did ask and got it, the bread was already cold. The lemon brick chicken was another favorite dish in our group. It was tasty. The best dish was the fish (cod). It was superb, since we were disappointed in our own meals, we were fortunate the birthday girl shared with us. The fish was cooked excellent. Let me summarize by saying that based on prices, staff, and time for food to come to us, it wasn't worth it. I think a better choice would have been Trattoria Lisina in Driftwood where you don't have to pay for the bread and staff is always there to take care of you and get the food to you in a more expeditious fashion. Fortunately, Tilley's is beautiful therefore the surroundings make time go by a little quicker. I did send a similar note to Tilley's, but they did not respond.

I came in here with friends and the kids on a Saturday evening to what we didn't expect - SUCH a great night ahead! Every Saturday they have musical bingo with kid friendly and adult prize options. There were like 3 kids birthday celebrations going on to top it off! So, it was pretty busy! Our food took awhile to come out due to my last statement (duh) but wow it was worth the wait. Mostly that Vendoro pizza, which was mouthwatering and devoured instantly (pesto all over the face with no shame). Since it was our first time there we got 3 beer flights and were satisfied with all of the options we had per our bartender's recommendations! I wish I could remember the guy's name that helped us but I'm sure I'll get it once I go again soon! Ah, it was just such a wonderful time. Super wholesome. Super family friendly. Everyone we encountered both customers and other workers around us were all so delightful too. I know I might say it often, but with this place I reeeally am looking forward to coming back again soon.

Extremely busy at all times but service doesn't lack. Also, pop-up tents with local artisans selling their wares. Live music on the stage every Saturday. Food menu (we didn't eat). Really decent pours when it comes to craft beer. Shared the salted caramel stout with my boyfriend. Hands down one of the best stouts I've ever had (I fancy myself a stout snob). Even our fur boy, Sir B. gives two paws up (see photos). Bonus: band playing when we were there spied me in an Oasis shirt and did a cover of "Don't Look Back in Anger". Nice job, guys.

So they have other beers (craft) as well as ciders and n/an options. I love a good cider but I also know to watch out for that ABV! I'm gonna try their ciders next time we do an overnight in Dripping Springs. Drinking cider and driving back to Austin wouldn't be the smartest thing to do. Same goes for any product containing alcohol, really. Moderation, friends. So back to the pours. When I say they're proper, I'm not exaggerating. I feel like they deserve some sort of acknowledgement from England because the beers are that good. The Whitby is an English pale ale and it goes down so smoothly. The two cask offerings are out of this world. Can't remember the names but one is a dark beer and the other a bitter. I'm here all day for them. Like all day.
