This was my first time at a Vietnamese restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. Right when I walked in my family and I were greeted with a friendly staff member. Our waiter explained the menu items thoroughly to the point that I could understand what the food would consist of. Once I decided on my meal I waited briefly and then received my food. The food was delicious, although I can't remember what it was called it was similar to a meat based soup. Overall, the food and service was phenomenal and I will definitely be going back. read more

SIX STARS!!! I've been eating pho for years now in the cities I've commuted through for work. This is the BEST one yet! It includes large portions--the biggest bowl of pho I've ever seen--and complimentary hot or cold jasmine tea. The atmosphere is a great combination of upscale, downtown dining, yet it maintains a casual, cozy place to enjoy lunch or dinner. I love Pho and other Asian cuisine. Sadly, there's not a lot of good places like this around Chambersburg! I go here at least once a month, and absolutely love it! None of their choices are over-seasoned, and the atmosphere is very homey and comfortable. Finding Pho seemed like such a rarity around this area, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Rice & Pho in Chambersburg.
