Good service without having good service if you know what I mean. I guess I had gotten familiar with how they handle things since they had my car so long. Nice crew. But issues still open. Would call back once I left a couple messages. They Would text an update after I left a voicemail. I had to take vehicle back after it was ready for them to tweak a couple of things. But all issues were not resolved. Was told I needed to take vehicle to dealership. As far as I'm concerned Rice collision is part of the dealership. One side of car was damaged and repaired but apparently they did not walk on the other side to make sure it matched. It would help if they paid attention to detail and try to resolve issues while there instead of sending you somewhere else or have you come back. But that's customer service these days. read more

DO NOT take your car here for repair. They are unresponsive, unhelpful, and dishonest. They wouldn't return calls and lied when I could finally get a response on the phone. Finally I drove over there (I'm not in Greensboro) and even in person it was difficult to find out what was happening!! The office is complete chaos. Finally they said they couldn't look at it until it was emptied! No one EVER said a word and it had been sitting there for weeks. After almost a month of having my car they continued to add supplements to the claim. Even the adjuster was frustrated. At the end, it was totaled. What a disaster. Would not recommend. The repair was fine, and "Tracey" who works there was very sweet and helpful for my wife after the office staff were very unprofessional. The car repair was delayed (understandable given the supply line issues) but Amber Thorpe was unresponsive after committing to a deadline, and the manager Scott Simmons is insulting, rude and frankly tries to intimidate you if you ask for the customer feedback line. read more

I left my Toyota Tacoma for (one) rock damage repair on Thursday June 2nd. Called Richard M. On June 6th (in que for review) . Richard called me on June 9th to let me know the fix had increased by 32% (unforeseen damage not caught by visual assessment ???) I informed him that work must be completed by June 14th for the acceptance of new fee. Richard said he would get back with me shortly to acknowledge terms of our conversation (never called) I left a message for him on Monday June 13 (never returned my call) I show up on the 14th at 5pm to see if truck is ready (QC to review only thing left ... gone for the day ???) I did leave with my truck after my own QC. Work was satisfactory but the lack of communication and price increase made this experience unpleasant. Took my car to be repaired and was given an estimate. Didn't want to use insurance so my son's insurance would not be raised. Signed off on the estimate but when I went to pick up the car it was hundreds of dollars more than the estimate. The car wasn't repaired there were still noises coming from the wheel. They repaired that and after giving me the price of $600 when I went to pick it up it was $800. They don't stand by their estimate. They accidently let me see the cost with insurance. They charge more for people not using insurance. Don't trust the estimate. read more

We recently brought our car to Rice Collision center to have a bumper repaired. Our numerous interactions with staff via phone and in person were extraordinary. To a person, everyone was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. What really struck us was their sense of "family"--to quote one of the young ladies on the help desk. i would like to take this opportunity to warn people about rice collision center on joe brown blvd off hwy29,,i took my van in to get some body work done,,,,now when i called about it they said the insurance cover every thing except for a diagnostic of the van to make sure it was in good shape,,,,,now i did not approve this charge,,all i wanted was the body work done,,,this is something rice added on,,,,and i refused to pay it,,,and they said it was in the contract when it was wrote up,,,,,well needless to say after going a round with the manger and threating to call a lawer they removed it,,,,this is bad business,,,,if you want rice to do work for you,,keep this in mind and make sure you ask about it before you leave your vehicle,,,,i would hate to see anyone ripped off because of a charge that wasnt told them before services was rendered read more

It took me 4 trips to drop off my truck adjuster inspect/ inspect/partial repair / inspect / partial repair / inspect pickup up truck and still not fully repaired. Collision center is now blaming dealership Rice Toyota for damages. I only had the truck for two weeks before being rear ended. poor workmanship, I'll never take it back read more

Came here to get my car fixed after an accident. We were attended by Joy Rachal, customer service representative. She made the experience very pleasant as she is very courteous and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. The car was also fixed well and appears brand new aside from vacuum and washing. Kudos to Joy (my father, Rico agrees as well!) read more

So let's get this right..it is my insurance company's fault that Rice Collision Center did a TERRIBLE job on my repairs and I have had to take the car back SIX times to have the work that had already been paid for to be done correctly? Also, it is the fault of the professionals that installed my DVD players a YEAR ago that my airbag harness was pulled apart a month ago when Rice mechanics were the only ones that had touched the car in the past year? Is this correct? So tell me, whose fault is it that my Extended Service Warranty that I purchased with the car was cancelled without my knowledge and without a refund being issued? Maybe the tooth fairy did that. If you are really sorry, stop giving lip service and actually do something to fix these issues. Since you cancelled my warranty without my knowledge or permission and then stole my money..fix that..like right now today..if you are truly sorry.. RICE TOYOTA (Mary) WILL LIE, CHEAT, and STEAL from you!! There are too many Toyota dealerships in the area not to be valued as a customer. I just spoke to a former employee of Rice that now works for another dealership and they stated they had purchased 8 cars from Rice until MARY CURRY took over. They quit and will not purchase another car from the dealership. That speaks volumes to me. I know there are wonderful employees that mean well that work for Rice but management doesn't seem to care about the customers or the employees from what I have experienced and hearing. Someone scrapped my new Toyota Highlander in a parking lot. I knew I wanted Rice Collision Center to perform the repairs due to the paint color "Blizzard Pearl", which requires a three step process to repaint. State Farm recommended Rice as a Preferred Service Center. Sheri Walker was my contact at Rice and she was wonderful. Estimate took about 20 minutes. She had all the insurance information ready when I arrived. Her estimate was reasonable, and the time frame of how long it would take to perform the repairs was right on also. Rice Collision Center called me every day with an update on the repairs. Nice touch. The repair was very well done, could not tell there was ever any damage. Paying my deductible was all I had to do. I highly recommend Rice Collision Center for your car repair, no matter what the make of the car. They are a very professional shop. read more

Stay away at ALL costs! Rice did work on my vehicle a year ago and I am still having issues. The best solution they have for you is that you have a lifetime guarantee on their work which is great because you will need a lifetime for them to get it right. I am still finding things wrong and evidence of sloppy work a year later. With Cox and Modern Toyota so close I say stay clear of Rice and save yourself a lot of frustration, lies, and disappointment. read more
