I arrived here at 12:12pm on a Friday afternoon. Gabe greeted me and offered a bottle of water. He checked under the hood and let me know they would be with me shortly. All 3 bays had a car in them. I was the next person in the 3rd bay. Prior to arriving, I called around for prices and I actually got a 25 off coupon from the agent I spoke to. Once there, I saw they have 15% off for ride share drivers and 25% for military and veterans. When I called, I was told for full synthetic it was $85. There, I saw they didn't even have an $85 option, only a $90 option. Apparently, my car takes advanced full synthetic which was $107 plus tax.. i was annoyed that I had to spend more than anticipated as I was calling around to different places. It was $90 after the coupon. I was done by 12:40pm. They didn't push me to buy extra stuff such as windshield wipers; only asked once. Overall, decent experience. Helping me was Soe. He was extremely kind and helpful during the whole process. This was the first time I went to a Service Center for an oil change and im extremely glad I went here. Kind throughout the entire process and asked all the right questions upfront, what I needed, how much it would cost, and even threw on a coupon that stacked with another coupon I already had. This was my first experience at Take 5 and it won't be my last. First of all, you remain in your car while they change your oil. I was there 15-20 minutes tops. Dillon was the mechanic who worked on my car. His enthusiasm for the job was simply a joy to watch. He approached me with a smile and was courteous and professional. He treated me with respect and not like a woman who knows nothing about cars. I don't think anybody likes to take time out of their day to get an oil change but Dillon made it fun. Website says they are open on Saturday until 8 PM. Tried calling Saturday at 5 PM to see if they have MOPAR or Pennzoil full synthetic and how much that would be for a 6 qt oil and filter change. No one answering the phone for questions. Straight to survey which is useless. I'll drop by and see but not convienent that no one is in the front office to save potential customers time and money. Changing my review from 1 star for the initial phone call to a 4 star because we pulled in at 7 and all 3 bays were working on cars in front of us. They directed us to a Que in the middle bay and directed others to the same position in the other bays. They quickly finished the cars in front and we moved in for service. They offered the oil and filter change and looked at our car fax and offered a coolant flush as one had not been done. We were concerned about time but they said it would only take an additional 10 minutes so we agreed. They also showed us the current air filter and we agreed to a change. All these items were completed as we sat in our car and they showed us the oil before it was changed and the oil after it was changed. They showed us the dip stick measurement so we knew it was not too high or too full and the oil was obviously new. We saw the coolant flush as it happened and it was definitely time. It was nice to have these items quickly taken care of just before we left for a 6 hour round trip the next day. I checked the dip stick the next morning and saw the level was perfect. The car ran beautifully on our trip, smooth and engine temperature was perfect and we got great gas mileage. Total cost was $280 and we were out by 7:30 for dinner. All around great experience. It would be 5 stars except there was no phone answering when I tried to get information before heading over, but I'm glad I gave then a try and I felt good about the experience, ok with the price, and happy with the service. read more

They say one thing here but do another. What they tell you on the customer service line in NY is completely different than what they tell you at the shop. I saw a coupon for $25 off on Facebook for a basic $50 oil change. So I ask the customer service person on the phone how much will be the total with taxes etc. He says around $27 with taxes which is fine. So I drive to the location and say I have the coupon on my phone. Then I asked how much will it be with the coupon?. They tell me $38 so I drive away disgusted I was not told the truth. Everybody is always friendly and I'm OK with them trying to upsell wipers and filters, but I watched them pour 5 quarts of oil in my car, but was charged for 6.4. You're immediately greeted when rolling up and given a complimentary water. My service tech was training.. maybe a hiccup or two but it wasn't a big deal. All that said, it's a wonderful experience. I myself tend to pay more for convenience, but not everyone does. So my advice is to know what services you need beforehand and stick to it. Know which oil your car needs (your car may not require synthetic but they'll up-sell it), price check air filter and wiper blades if you're pinching pennies. Do not take your car here! The tech did not put the plug in tight and the gasket was bad. My wife car was run bone dry with oil. I took it to another take 5 location and they confirmed this on video. In going back to the battleground locatioin to adress my concern? The tech whose name is "justin" got pulled away from physically asaulting me becasue..... Apparently letting them know im going to escalate my concerns with corporate was taken as a "threat", and that justifed him wanting to assault and physically attack me. I came here for an oil change like I have done many times before. Everything was fine, then not even 24 hours later my car engine stops working, car dies in the middle of Benjamin parkway. I wait 45 minutes and pay for tow to take it in to get the code read and to take it back to my house. Code comes back as my mass air flow sensor is compromised, because the guy who changed my oil didn't put my air filter back in properly so it did not seal, allowing dirt to get past it. I call and tell them the situation I get "well I don't see how we could have done that because the tube is in the way but I'll tell my manager"... I had to order a $130 part which took a week to arrive. So tow + new part + an entire week of no car and still have not heard back from the "district manager" read more

Well I sent my wife to get an oil change here and all I can say is they either took advantage of her or their prices are exceptionally high for an oil change. Full service rang up at 120, which is laughable. I can go to Express a couple miles down the road to get the same service for 80. I tried twice to use the service here to no avail. The first time they had two of three bays open but didn't seem to be moving fast. I had to get to work so had to leave. The next time they still had two bays open and as I pulled into wait my turn some guy comes to the edge and puts a red cone in front of my car. I took that as a sign they were closing down that lane since there were 3 cars in the next lane with no cones. No manager came out to me or no one offered me any water or anything else.
