    Chives pancake

Friendly staff, Super spacious restaurant with that smell of homemade cooking that just pulls you in! Noodles has a nice chew, they were NOT stingy on the crabmeat, the curry had a great coconut flavor and the papaya salad? Crazy authentic with that strong sweet fish and lime sauce. The chive pancakes? Only regret was not ordering more to go!!! God it was so damn good! You rarely see these sold anywhere! MUST TRY!

I am from NC but travel to Hagerstown often for work. I ALWAYS make sure to visit Rice Thai Dining each time I'm in town. As a lover of Thai food, this is hands down the BEST I have found. The food is consistently delicious, flavorful and fresh every single time. The location is small and intimate and the staff are so friendly! The establishment has been in business for quite sometime and never fails on taste. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Wow! What can I say other than wow! This food was phenomenal. The satay had a sweet taste and the side dishes paired very well. The pad Thai was some of the best I've ever had!! The inside was very cute and not too bright. The service was speedy and polite.

tea was so refreshing, so yummy! the drunken noodles were so soft and flavorful and the tofu and chicken were cooked perfectly. I did not dine it but while I waited for my order, I noticed the ambiance and how cozy it felt inside the restaurant, I would definitely come back to eat in there. The lady that helped me was very kind and quick about getting my order to me. Definitely going back

Originally I was headed to another eating establishment and was looking for somewhere else to eat and I ran across this place .. ugh it took me back home to Cali always going to Thai restaurants and really reminded me of my mom. I ordered on a lunch special, Thai fried rice and chicken along with a Thai iced tea. The dish its self is simple but SO delicious! I really enjoyed it enough to make this review. This is a cute intimate place to have a business lunch, first date, or just an elegant place to sit and eat on your own. The staff treated me well and were very friendly, I felt welcomed. If you're thinking of this place and aren't sure I would say yess! Definitely a hidden gem in Downtown Hagerstown especially if you're used New York or La and having plenty of options for Asian cuisine. I will definitely be going back

    Papaya salad. Sooooo good!!!

A hidden gem!!! The decor is so warm feeling and decorated for the holidays. The service was fast and attentive. We were only in the neighborhood because we had to meet up with someone in Hagerstown and we Yelp'd this place. The reviews do not lie and this place didn't disappoint! The shrimp on the papaya salad was grilled fresh (was still hot/warm) with a nice char to it. The flavor of the salad was sooo good. Sweet and tangy. I could eat a bucket of it! I got the panang curry because I wanted something warm. So so so good. So much chicken and so much sauce. I almost ordered more rice just so I could eat more sauce! Chicken was tender and fresh. Not rubbery at all. Wife got the green curry with chicken and she loved it as well. It had eggplant in it and she loved it. Perfect food and service. I'm almost tempted to drive the 1.5 hours here just to eat here again!

Located in historic downtown area by churches, metered parking outside, came on a weekend night and it was pretty chill. I chose this place over the other Thai restaurants in town due to the cheaper menu, traditional ambience and comfy looking chairs. Their Xmas tree was still up, love it, r+b music playing in the background. The food came out great except for one minor issue: spring rolls were really salty, recommend cutting back on the salt then it would be perfect. Excellent service, spice level is adjustable!

Decided to check this place out with my dad this weekend. Fantastic service with delicious food! I was surprised by how perfect the duck was done. We got red curry and pad see ew and finished it up with coconut ice cream. The ice cream is a must!

Very nice server, around $55~ for two people including tip and appetizer. probably one of the best vibes i got from a restaurant, food was amazing, worth the money. would go again.

    Green curry w fried Tofu

Flavorful authentic Thai good. We tried Larb Gai and Green Curry with tofu and they were done right and delicious. The decore is lovely and classy with booths and table booth combination. There is low volume background music. The service is very accommodating and friendly. They were accommodating to vegetarians. Highly recommended choice.

The best Thai food in Hagerstown by far. The Penang curry is terrific. Love the crispy basil duck. The appetizers are great.

Our server, who was super friendly, came out right away to take our drink order. The menu is a bit extensive and everything sounds delicious, so we definitely had questions for him. In the end, I ended up settling for the braised beef Khao Soi, which is a northern Thai specialty and hard to find in most Thai restaurants. When I see it on the menu, I bypass my usual dishes and have to try it. The Khao Soi broth was absolutely delicious and flavorful with a good kick of spiciness. The beef was tender (they also make the dish with chicken but it's thigh and leg, so I went for the beef). Overall, no regrets ordering the Khao Soi. My companion had the Pad Thai with pork and it was equally delicious! This restaurant uses thinner noodles for their Pad Thai but it made no difference; it was great! There's plenty of street parking (enforced M-F until 5pm). Don't miss this spot, which also has sister restaurants in Staunton and Culpeper, VA and a couple other locations in West Virginia.

On our last visit, a few Sunday nights ago, we popped in at dinner time on impulse and were seated immediately, though it's not a big space and it gets a lot of traffic. We walked through the little bar to the interesting and well-appointed dining room. I ordered a Singha beer and my wife got her standard Thai iced tea, very well made here. We split an appetizer of delicious crispy firecracker shrimp. She got her favorite, Pad Thai with shrimp, and I got mine, creamy green curry with chicken (I chose a 3 out of 4 on spiciness, which was close to my limit!). Both were terrific, As always, the service was efficient and polite. We haven't tried this place for carryout yet, because I think we just like sitting there so much. If you like the unique flavors of Thai food served cheerfully in a pleasant atmosphere, I think you'll like Thai Meric.

Service was fast and friendly - we were surprised by how quickly our meals arrived. The food was seriously flavorful and plentifully portioned. I was able to request the curry without fish sauce, which isn't an option everywhere. Highly recommend the panang curry and drunken noodles, but I would expect everything on the menu to be just as good.
