It was also perfectly salted which was the only issue I had with the food last time. To be clear nothing I tasted here has been bad. There is a family friendly diner side and a bar side which looks cozy and has gambling machines. It would be nice if the door was more clearly labeled as the bar door, since I wasn't sure if I was allowed to go in or if it was the bathroom or what? The service staff were very pleasant and the chef came out himself to make sure the food was ok. It was a great time and I can't wait to try the new Sunday brunch. We ordered the cafe sua da, Vietnamese iced coffee. It was okay. I'm not positive it was fresh-dripped, but it tasted good. The fresh summer rolls were freshly rolled and delicious. We both ordered the pho with rare beef and meatballs. It was nearly as good as my mother's. I was so impressed with the pho that I decided to order two bahn mi sandwiches to go. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. We arrived around 10:30 and it was quiet. I'm thrilled to find a lovely place to get my Viet fix when we travel up 81. Give them a try. I trim the fat more, but it had been rendered nicely so it ate well. Yes, you eat the fat with the meat. People who trim it are wrong. Just wrong.
