The store offers a large variety of liquors and beers, with something for just about every taste. There's also a fair selection of non-alcoholic beers--a thoughtful inclusion we really appreciate, though we'd love to see even more variety in that category as demand continues to grow. The wine selection isn't exotic, but it's clearly curated with the local customer in mind. You'll find quality bottles at fair prices--perfect for everyday sipping or easy gifting. Geneva Liquors is a great example of what a neighborhood liquor store should be: clean, welcoming, well-stocked, and run by someone who truly cares about the community. From looking at the stock and organization of the store, it seems to be exceptional, but to be perfectly fair, I'm only critiquing the U-Haul rental side of this establishment. I reserved a 10 foot U-Haul truck one week prior, and picked my vehicle up on Saturday. It took a while for the staff member to look up my reservation, then he proceeded to tell me I needed to go to the back of the building, go to the rental box, and enter a code to pick up my keys. Basically, this is self-service. The gauges for the fuel were full and the truck was clean, and seemed to be in good shape. When I was finished, I refueled, and returned the vehicle to the U-Haul parking lot. He took the keys and said you will be getting a receipt emailed to you. When I got my bill, I noticed that there was an overcharge of $30. The store clerk would not speak to me about the bill, and told me to call corporate. I did leave a complaint at corporate, so I'm waiting to hear the results. I don't like their procedures, and I also don't like these (franchise) U-Haul dealerships! It's an extra "side job" that they can make money on, and I don't believe they care one way or the other about the customer. Next time I move, I will not be using U-Haul.
