Greg came out and gave us a quote. He also very helpfully pointed out one of the flower beds had poison ivy! I had no idea. They came out in March of 2025 very quickly and cut down two trees in the front yard. I especially appreciated the ability to pay online very easily after the service was completed. They even offered to allow me to keep the wood chips after the trees were removed, but I decided not to do so (because of said poison ivy). For $1080 (tax included), I think it was worth it. We opted not to do stump grinding, so Rice's cut the trees very low and you can't even see the stumps until up close. Thanks so much! read more

Rice's Tree Service removed two 100+ foot trees from our property.  Their quote was less than half of the next best quote, and when they needed extra equipment and labor to remove the tree that was close to our detached garage, they stood by their quote and did not charge extra.  They did some very minor damage as they were cleaning space for equipment, which they told us about immediately and came back two days later to fix.  I am very impressed with both their price and professionalism.  I highly recommend them. read more

They had given me a date to do my tree pruning and then gave me 24 hour notice thot they had to change date because there was a thunderstorm. They promptly came the next day at the exact time that they said they would. Work was done professionally. They had all the right equipment , the staff cleaned up and left my yard in perfect order. We had 8 trees removed between my house and the neighbor. One was a large oak tree. They had to use a very large crane over my house. The whole crew was friendly and skillful. They were careful with my driveway and yard and cleaned up like they were not there. The following week a storm took down one of my trees. Rice cut a huge 150+ year old oak tree close to the house. They have also cut smaller trees and trimmed trees on my property. Each time, I was very satisfied with the service and results.
