If on the other hand, you're looking for someone to treat you holistically with both therapy and medications including in-depth analysis of hormones in addition to the far more extensive thyroid panels than my original psychiatrist ran, then Michelle is the one for you. Also, while she is always aware of your low moods, if you're looking for someone to coddle you and just say 'Oh my poor baby!' and pat your hand, when instead you need directness, she also is not that. She is sensitive, and does modulate her demeanor absolutely appropriately depending on where you are in your recovery if you're in the throes of severe highs or lows. I've been seeing her for over 10 years and she is why I am as whole and functioning as I am. She is the one that characterized my progesterone levels as being too low, contributing to my anxiety that drove me into MDD episodes. She also ran thyroid panels that showed my active T3 was too low, instead of just looking at T4 like the rest of the MDs. She also worked with me to teach me to set therapy boundaries and responsibility so that I wouldn't dive into heavy therapy and exhaust myself emotionally. Boundaries, who would have thought?? So yeah, by all means, skip her if you just want a shoddy, half assed, 'Oh my poor dear' shoulder to cry on. If you want to actually live a functional life then see her as much and often as possible.

Dr. Indianer asked me for some background on the relationship, and she asked me to think about what I wanted from her in our sessions. Not having insurance for mental-health coverage, I was grateful that Dr. Indianer used a sliding scale. I ended up going through a divorce, and receiving quality care at a more affordable price helped me immensely. I found Dr. Indianer to be a "straight shooter," and I would even say she showed me some tough love when I needed to try to focus more on my present and future rather than dwelling in the past or remaining caught up in my backstory. That being said, she is an extremely caring individual, spiritual, and personable. I recommend Dr. Indianer as a psychiatrist and osteopath for those of us, especially middle aged and older, who seek a wise helper who is practical and wants others to attain their optimum physical and mental health.

I'm the face of adversity and defending science over court opinion, Dr. Klimdt prescribed me Desoxyn(Methamphetamine). 10 years later I had enjoyed, through a company that I built, $4,200,000 in sales with over 50 employees/tradesman working every day. The need for the medicine only came about on a few occasions but combined with the 12 steps, and a strong Faith, Dr. Klimdt and I are living proof of a true success story against the most extreme odds possible. There is quite a bit of political corruption with the courts since my step father was a billionaire before he passed, and now am dealing with having to investigate alongside FBI such people as Mayor Sheng Thao of Oakland, who was recently raided for political corruption after my December 2022 complaint uncovered evidence the FBI needed to execute the warrant in their ongoing investigations. (See my email in photos of this yelp post). In conclusion, Dr. Klimdt was originally referred to me by a lifelong friend and former college professor, George Hinn, and both deserve noble prizes imo. They just don't care about outside opinion, only about their patience, and factual scientific data. Mad love and respect for both these gentlemen, Dr. Klimdt is worth every penny he charges and then some.

Walking into a new doctor's office can be at best uncomfortable and at worst scary, but the kindness Dr. Quach shows really puts you at ease as soon as you walk into the office. The compassion and care he provides to each and every individual is something that I have not seen before. He takes his time to engage with you and really puts in the effort to understand what you need, and more importantly what you want. He truely listens to each individual and tries to incorporate their wishes into his treatment plan. He makes you feel like what you want in your treatment matters, and that your input is valued. Dr. Quach also takes his time to explain each medication that he is proscribing, including the possible side effects, risks, and benefits so that you feel informed and empowered in your treatment. I would recommend Dr. Quach to anyone, and encourage anyone who has the opportunity to work with Dr. Quach as your Psychiatrist to take it!!

I truly can't express how grateful I am for her. She supported me through some of the darkest periods of my life with compassion, insight, and genuine care. She has an incredible ability to listen, understand, and help me make sense of what I'm going through in a way that feels safe, empowering and grounded. She was able to support me through my aging parents, mental health, perimenopause, menopause, and career changes with remarkable skill and sensitivity. She also guided me through a period of transition, helping me pause, reflect, and truly understand the major changes happening in my life. Her understanding and support through perimenopause and menopause is something more women should have the opportunity to experience. I can't recommend her highly enough for her knowledge, professionalism, and deep empathy. I will always be grateful for the support she's given me.

The way this clinical director communicates with employees is extremely concerning. A leader should be respectful, professional, and willing to listen before making accusations or placing blame. This also does not appear to be an isolated concern. I have heard from employees that some have chosen to leave because of their experiences with this clinical director and her management style. If multiple employees are feeling the same way, I believe management should take these concerns seriously and look into what is happening. Yelling at employees, speaking to them disrespectfully, and creating an intimidating work environment is not acceptable leadership. Employees deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. As a patient, hearing about this type of behavior is very concerning because patients should feel confident that the people caring for them are working in a respectful, professional, and supportive environment. Management should seriously review this clinical director's behavior and leadership style. Good leadership should build trust, respect, and open communication--not fear and stress.
