Great doctor, great staff, great service. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Braces are affordable with an interest free payment plan if needed (I don't have orthodontia coverage) monthly checkups are a breeze and office is easy to find. Also, no one there is racist! I myself am Hispanic and I'm never treated differently. Great people... great progress...great price! My daughter currently has braces installed by Dr. RANSFORD. Her teeth look absolutely amazing. He is extremely patient with her and even me as I ask for information regarding next steps and progress. I was initially worried about going simply because his price was the cheapest I had received of several consultations and other places. .. for some reason I was thinking price = quality. Well that was brief!! I'm so happy we made the decision to come here! I have since referred 6 family members here! I will continue to refer others because they deserve it. Nope you will not walk in to a state of the art office filled with bright colors.. televisions... video games for waiting children.. but you will find a place that looks nice, with friendly staff, and amazing orthodontists that Care for all of their patients! read more

Dr. Ransford did my orthodontic work about six years ago when I was a high school student. I'm visiting my folks in Chicago for Christmas, and I'm stopping by the office to have my retainers checked and, if need be, adjusted. This service is guaranteed free for life with his office. This is why I thought to write this review six years after my braces were taken off. My teeth required nearly four years of work, as they were quite a mess. To this day I get compliments from people on my smile and how straight my teeth are. Since growing up in Chicago, I lived in Milwaukee for school, and my dentist there praised the work done on my teeth. I now live in Arizona, and, once again, my dentist here raved about the orthodontia work. Between what acquaintances have said about my teeth, what professional dentists have said about my teeth, and how I FEEL about my teeth, I don't think 5 stars is really enough for what Dr. Ransford did. If I could, I would actually give him no stars. I went in for a braces consultation and they stated that they would send over the information to my insurance to get an estimate as to what it would cover back in March of this year, and to this day they have yet to send anything. I have called numerous of times in order for them to send it, but I get the runaround. I have since called and left voice mails for a call back and nothing. i should have known from the beginning that this was not going to go anywhere since the receptionist was standoffish whenever I would ask her for information or wanted to confirm that she had my correct information. I explained to the receptionist that even if the coverage wouldn't go thru, I would still be willing to pay out of pocket. I guess that did not even matter to her. I don't know if she alone was racist, or if she was just negligent on her behalf. Regardless of the matter, I will definitely not be going back and will be reporting this situation to the BBB seeing that it was in a way implied that she was not happy to see a Hispanic walk in the door. read more

I love everyone here, they always remember your name, and pick up the conversation from where we last left off. When I have to bring my kids it has never been felt like that annoyed or bothered them.. I have never waited more then 2 minutes and his prices on braces were awesome read more

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. My son had a broken bracket and I was told that it couldn't be replaced for 1 1/2 months, even though he has a regularly scheduled appointment in one week. I was told that the orthodontist he is seeing for his regular appointment doesn't replace brackets, he only tightens the wires. Well, I'm not sure what they would even do then since there isn't any bracket to tighten the wire to. Even before this incident, I was not happy with the service we've received. The front desk staff is rude and the orthodontists never want to speak to the parents to give treatment updates. I WILL be changing orthodontists. I'm paying too much money to accept this horrific customer service. read more

The office manager is rude beyond belief, I'm considering finding another orthodontist for my younger kids when they need braces. Dr Ransford is great and does good work but the office needs a facelift and the office manager should be fired. read more

I have been going there for over 2 years now and not one time have I EVER encountered poor customer service...In fact, everyone at the office is down to earth and friendly...It's more of a family like environment..Dr. Ransford is AWESOME and his staff is equally awesome. ..I'm a person who reads reviews and generally base whether or not I'm going to give my business off of them rather than to write one...However, I happen to be looking for the office hours and noticed what some people wrote...As of this moment I will always try something once regardless of the reviews because I totally disagree with what people are saying about Dr. Ransford's office...So if anyone is considering giving their business to him i encourage you to try them out for yourself as I can assure you he will exceed your expectations and prove these poor reviews to be false ..Not sure who the office manager is but I can say for certain that Britta and Stephanie are two of the most genuinely pleasant and compassionate people among a few that I've came across in the health care field...#bestorthoofficeinillinois... read more
