5 Stars times 4!…read more Doctor Weitzbach has treated my wife, daughter, son and me... all with kindness, compassion, exceptional medical expertise and diligent follow-up. In the last few years, Doctor Weitzbach's annual skin cancer checks have found 2 cancers (one requiring radiation and one Mohs surgery) and numerous pre-cancers requiring freezing. The two most serious cancers were caught so early that second opinions from plastic surgeons verified Dr. Weitzbach's early detection saved us from potentially disfiguring surgery that would have been required if the tumors had been allowed to grow. His and his team's treatment of our children has been equally exceptional. Whether treating severe adolescent acne with Accutane, strategies for Psoriasis or simple acne facials, we could not have asked for more or better treatment. Did I mention that they have a pharmacy on the premises so you don't have to go running to the drugstore after your doctors visit? Convenience and competence... She then sliced me up, which required follow-ups and stitch removal. Of course that was on my lower back so I have no idea if it was even necessary. When I expressed how violated I felt, she replied that I should have known what happens at a body check appt. Well I went to a new dermatologist and had a lovely appointment, several appts actually. My new dr takes their time, has a full discussion about options and hasn't once had to scrap anything off of me or made me feel violated. SW did complement my dress once, so I know she's capable of saying something in a nice tone. Hopefully she's working on this. It truly is all about the tone and execution. Also, the office needs to be more considerate when photographing patients and inform them clearing about what is to take place.

I went in with several situations that needed attention and had asked for a full body exam, too. I think the total amount of time he spent was maybe 5 or 6 minutes. TOTAL. Got out his liquid nitrogen squirt gun and squirted a bunch of growths I didn't like (and -- to his credit -- a few he noticed that HE didn't like), and then glanced at my front and back (maybe ¾ of a second each side) and we were through. The places he was supposed to have gotten rid of came back within 10 days. He forgot to look at two places mentioned, and he couldn't find one lump so he said he'd find it next time (in four months supposedly). He thought he knew what it was, but didn't take the time to find it. Not saying he doesn't have the credentials or that he doesn't kow his stuff, but he is so fast and quietly cavalier, that even if he actually is able to do a thorough job (which he wasn't), it had to have been "sloppy" at best. Certainly he didn't leave this patient thinking he really took his work seriously -- but hey! When you're the best, does anyone even question? Look at his website. If you're really THAT good,do you really need to advertise like that? Staff was professional.
