Had a fantastic experience with Dr. Lawrence Osman at the Calabasas location. I went in to have several moles removed, and I was so impressed with the entire process. First, Dr. Osman himself is just a wonderfully sweet person and a great doctor. He made me feel comfortable right away, and the whole procedure was incredibly fast--I was in and out in less than 20 minutes! I also have to mention the office itself. It is aesthetically pleasing, from the beautiful interior design to the friendly and welcoming staff. It's just a lovely environment all around. Highly recommend Dr. Osman for any dermatology needs. Whether at their Northridge or Calabasas location, Dr. Lawrence Osman and Nurse Practitioner Sherry Sanvictores provide wonderful care for dermatological concerns. I have been seeing Dr. Osman and Ms. Sanvictores for over a decade now for routine Botox, help with acne and, most recently, laser treatment for hyper-pigementation (melasma). Both practitioners are very careful to explain the benefits and drawbacks of the various treatments they provide (injectables, laser, topicals...etc.) and tend to be conservative in that they want to make sure people have the best possible outcome without appearing unnatural or over-worked on. They both have answered all my questions beyond my satisfaction and I can't think of a single negative experience I've had with either of them. If you have a cosmetic issue or concern, I would highly recommend them. Los Angeles has a LOT of plastic surgeons and cosmetic dermatologists. But I choose to go to them, despite them being a long way from my home, because of the quality of their service. Highly recommended. read more

I was coming from over hour away for my liposuction consultation, called to say I was running late, the front desk attendant just said no he can't see you , not even offering to reschedule, I tried calling 5-10 times driving their way to figure something out, be seen later or reschedule, they don't pick up the phone. Just like other reviews said, very unhelpful attitude of staff so I never even got to meet the doctor! Too bad! read more

Please hire new staff, they give this office and Northridge office a bad reputation and it reflects in all the negative reviews. They have bad and unfriendly attitudes. They Never follow up with appointments. They Make mistakes charging you and blame you and NEVER apologize or show empathy for the terrible service they give. One if the best doctors ever. Super smart without being arrogant. Listens well and meticulous about what he does. Botox is not just Botox. It's how and where the doctor places it. Dr. Osman is a patient, calm doctor, who has a helpful and caring demeanor. He is thorough in his examination, and methodical. Unfortunately, his billing office is why I will never go back. I've been going to him for almost 15 years, yet twice now the billing office has proven to be unethical. Once, after a lapse and trying out a new dermatologist, they charged me an extra $100 for being a "new patient," which I wasn't. Of course, this landed all on me, since insurance won't pay for this ridiculous additional charge. When I talked with them about it, they proceeded to explain that after 3 years, they purge records and everyone is charged for being a new patient. Then, after persevering with another skin-check, they sent my bill to collections after 5 months (I was waiting to see if insurance would cover or deem this bill part of my deductible, which I should pay.) Once I sent them the payment, they texted and said they would be sending my check back and I'd have to pay through collections, with interest. What? Calling them was no help. read more

Couldn't be more happy with Dr. Osman. I had some small bumps on the corners of my lips that were really bugging me. Small Iike most people couldn't see them. My other dermatologist made it seem like they're normal and nothing can be done. So I came to Dr. Osman for a second opinion. He assured me they're normal little oil glands but also burned them for me so I don't feel them or see them anymore. No longer self-conscious about my lips. My first visit to Dr. Osman was recently, about a bump above my upper lip. He gave me less painkiller than a dentist and then removed the bump for testing. Very pleasant, quick, and professional. Maybe I will see him for medical facials and a little Restylane, when I can! Overall, just an excellent doctor. Bravo! Only glitch is that his front office staff talks a little bit too much, which added to my nervousness. If they could keep it down and/or wait until lunch breaks, that really would be better for all of us nervous patients, please. Thanks so much! Great dermatoloist. My boyfriend noticed a small mole on my backside getting bigger and darker. I was referred to Dr. Osman by my pcp, I got an appt. w/in days. Upon my initial appt., Dr. Osman biopsied the small mole and I was contacted w/ in 3 days to return to completely remove the mole as it was pre-cancerous. I've since gone back to Dr. Osman about every 6 months and have had to have three more pre-cancerous spots removed. I also bring my red-haired, blue eyed, super white daughter to Dr. Osman to keep an eye on her. We do not do anywhere else. I have referred him to two friends .... they also love him! read more

I've visited Dr. Osman three times and each time was successful. I had to get a brown spot removed/biopsied and he made me very comfortable throughout the way. He has great bedside manner and does not worry his patients. He works quickly and organized and I always feel like I am in good hands when I visit him. I have only had to wait to see him once out of three of my visits, in which I waited an hour. I did feel rushed in my last visit because there were others that were waiting and didn't feel like I had the time to discuss the piece that he removed, but I trust him and his ability to do a good job. Wow! I never thought I'd enjoy a visit to the doctor's office. I found Dr Osman through Yelp, and because his reviews were so great, I chose his office. Best decision ever. The wait time was ZERO (when does that ever happen?) Literally filled out the paperwork for first-time client, led into room, changed into gown, and he was in the room within minutes. That was my first great impression. I had him check a mole I was concerned about on my neck, and when it was decided it should be removed, he was very calming when I expressed my fear of needles. I didn't feel a thing!!!! Every doctor should have his bedside manner. Super nice and attentive guy, clean office, great staff, very personable. I highly recommend him!!! I have been seeing Dr. Osman for about a year and my skin has improved greatly during this time. He was recommended to me by a friend, as I had several moles that I had to remove. He did a great job shaving off two small moles from my face, as well as my arm. I complained to him about my mild breakouts and he prescribed a cream to me that literally changed my life. While I never had acne as a teenager, I was experiencing some mild adult acne. My skin has cleared up completely and my face has never looked better. I also visited him recently for my first botox treatment and I had a very positive experience. Dr. Osman is a great dermatologist for both health and cosmetic needs. I never experienced long wait times, but I would recommend booking your appointment early as he gets booked up weeks in advance. I am so glad that I found a great dermatologist that I can trust.
