WOULD NOT RECOMMEND I made an appointment with Dr Ruff…read more I hadn't been to the dentist is five years or so because I had babies pretty much one after another , so I know I needed my teeth cleaned (that's why I made the appointment) The ONLY reason I made the appointment was to get my teeth cleaned! He comes in and checks me out after I get X-rays and proceeds to tell me that I have moderate Periodontal disease, gingivitis, and 4 cavities,and some pretty significant bone loss in my jaw. And he told me that when he was testing what condition my gums were in. And I quote " you bled like the proverbial stuffed pig" end quote! So then he tells me that he can't clean my teeth because they are SO BAD that I need to have the antiseptic cleaning. (Keep in mind my month isn't bothering me in anyway) so then he keeps telling me about the antiseptic cleaning, it's a 2 hour visit that they will numb my mouth because the tarter build up is so significant that it would hurt me to bad to not have numbing. He said I need one appointment for each side of my month. I said wow, can you show all this tarter ? Because my teeth feel smooth and nothing in my mouth is bothering me, I take really good care of my teeth! I'm 35 and have only had 1 cavity my whole life! So he pulled up the X-rays and starting scanning them and says "well I can't seem to find it on your X-rays but it is a significant amount and I will show you on your X-rays when you come in for the Antiseptic cleaning" And he only was able to point out 2 cavities out of the 4 he said I had. Which I hadn't even noticed in my mouth. That's how tiny they are. So I went out to pay for nothing cause that's what they did. Besides take X-rays. And the lady at the front desk was like "that's $430.00" I was like WHY? They didn't even do anything?!? She said "they didn't?" I said NO! Then she went back and talked to Dr Ruff and he told her that I didn't get the cleaning and that I need to make more appointments for the 2 cleanings. I paid them a ridiculous $302.00 to look in my mouth and take X-rays. I did not make any follow up appointments because he would have just took all my money and told me I need more and more stuff done. Scammer! Follow up... I went to my regular dentist and had X-rays and got my teeth cleaned and he NEVER said anything about all that bad crap Dr Ruff was saying I had. I got my teeth cleaned and a good report from my regular dentist. And it costs me WAY less money.

As I said I had lost a crown over the holiday and wanted it replaced quickly. I made a call was greeted by a friendly understanding receptionist who assured me they had the capability to do it in house and was able to schedule me for 2 days later with the assurance they could get it fixed that afternoon. She took a few pieces of info set up the appointment and then sent me an email/text confirmation along with new patient paperwork to save time. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the facility cleanliness and design and after a short wait had Dr. Dan Holmes himself greet me and bring me back to the treatment area. I noted how clean and well set up the place was which put me immediately at ease but then I became even more relaxed as we had a pleasant chat because here was a dentist who appeared very unhurried and genuinely interested. We then began the procedure which I must say was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had in a dentist office. He even invited me to bring in my pup (who was patiently waiting in my car) while the crown was being fabricated! I got to meet his wife Nicole who is also a dentist and business partner and several of the staff and everyone was really pleasant and professional. The procedure got finished about hour later as promised and I must say it seems to be a great fit. The office is both immaculate and has all the latest technology (which really appeals to a discriminating tech geek like me). Even the prices seemed very fair and they also have a membership plan that seems to be equivalent (if not better) than some dental plans like delta dental. If you are looking for a new dentist office give these guys a try and I'm sure you will be pleased!

(The other staff is wonderful, too, I just haven't interacted with them as much.) I had to get crowns throughout my entire mouth (long story), and they nailed it!!! They were so sensitive to my anxiety issues, and Dr. Nicole's technique in giving shots (for numbing) is unrivaled! They even re-did a few teeth that I wanted to look a little different. They were completely understanding and accommodating about my request to have these re-done, even though they had to take out a few permanent crowns they had already put in!! Since they have STATE OF THE ART equipment, they were able to remove these easily. Honestly, it was amazing! Seriously, if you're looking for a dentist, go here. (Oh and they were SO helpful with the financial stuff! They offered unique payment plans in addition to the regular care credit plans you see other places. They are wonderful!!!)

My family dentist was surprised at how much Singiser was charging and said another patient complained about being referred to Singiser because of high fees the same week! I have great insurance; he exceeded reasonable and customary for every procedure. I was referred to another Periodontist with whom I am very happy. Singiser's charges were DOUBLE that of the the other Periodontist. I asked him to adjust his charges; he said no. He sent a bill telling me he would send it to collection if not paid immediately. I paid 10 of the remaining $45 charges, with a note that I was protesting his high fees. Today I received a letter from a collection agency even though I made a payment! I have very good credit. Dr. SIngiser is driving the cost of healthcare to unreasonable levels. Watch out and ask his fees FIRST! I thought I should follow up with more information. My second opinion preauthorization was for about $3000. Singiser's preauthorization was for about $6000. The procedures were pretty similar. The fees I complained about were for an initial perio exam and would have been paid by my insurance company at $100%, however, there was a footnote that Singiser's fees exceeded reasonable and customary fees ($90) by $45.50. That is 1.5 times higher than reasonable and customary! It's up to you to decide, but if you go to Dr. Singiser, I'm simply giving you a heads up to ask his fees first. If they seem high to you, let your referring dentist know and get a second opinion. You may find the same thing I found. I'm lucky that I stopped it all at the initial perio exam.

I usually book in advance because the wait time can be very long, but if you get on their wait list for an appointment sooner when cancellations happen you can get in a lot faster. I like the relationship that Dr. Niles and her staff always make an effort to cultivate and continue each visit. It might be months since I have been last in, but the concern and care is 100% real and valid each visit and I feel very taken care of here. The front desk staff also know me by now, and I am welcomed in for each return visit warmly. I truly value these kinds of connections in a dental visit, because dental work causes me a tremendous amount of anxiety and stress. I feel so calm these days going in, because I know Dr.Niles is going to take great care of me, and her staff are reflecting this value too. I definitely recommend this business, and don't get too turned off by the wait - like I said, check out that cancel list they have to get in sooner.
