5 Stars - Outstanding Experience at RT Dental! I just had my cleaning and X-rays done at RT Dental, and I couldn't be more impressed. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and genuinely pleasant. The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient, making check-in super easy. The dental hygienist who did my cleaning was gentle but thorough, and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My teeth have never felt better! Dr. Tom came in to review my X-rays and do an exam, and he was fantastic. He explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions with patience, and made me feel completely at ease. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and takes pride in delivering quality care. The whole team at RT Dental works together seamlessly and creates an atmosphere that's both calming and professional. Dr. Tom & the entire staff of RT Dental are absolutely amazing! From the moment you walk into the office and are greeted by Arlene all the way through your entire visit, everyone there makes you feel extremely welcomed & comfortable. I absolutely love my dental hygienist Gelena. She takes her time with your cleaning as well as making any recommendations she feels might help with taking better care of your teeth. She is very gentle & thorough during your cleaning process. Once she is finished, Dr. Tom comes in to take a look at your x-rays (if they were part of your visit) & then does a thorough job of examining your jaw & teeth. He has an amazing personality & will take his time with you if you have any questions for him. His dental assistant, Joann is super sweet & will make you feel very comfortable if you are having any work done to your teeth. I've had bad experiences with dentists in the past where I felt like I was a cash cow. I was having work done every time I went there. I have super strong teeth and always wondered about it. Dr Tom is not one of these. If it is not necessary it doesn't get done. I have had work done multiple times, but I was either having an issue or I pointed it out myself. He is a very competent fast friendly and attentive Dentist, and spends all the time that is necessary to complete the work. His staff, I am not going to focus on anyone in particular as they are all equally good, are all very friendly competent and attentive. I always get everything that I need, and never, ever feel rushed. I am extremely happy with this group of professionals. It might seem strange that I started off with bad dentists, but this has always been my major complaint. I am extremely comfortable with Dr. Tom, and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to anybody else. I have already recommended him to my family. read more

Out of all the dentist I've had. Dr Tom is amazing. I always look forward to my annual cleanings. Arlene my favorite office manager is very through, pays attention to detail, and always goes the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. I actually switched insurances and Arlene called and got the deductable and co-payment information. Called me back with all the details in a very prompt amount of time. Also Galena the dental hygienistelse is my definite favorite I could spend hours talking to her. Talking to her is like talking to a friend I've known for years. Do you want the brightest, strongest, cleanest teeth! Well RT Dental is the place to go! I've been going here since I was 3 and have not even had one cavity to this day! And I eat A LOT of candy and sweets so even I'm suprised. Everytime I come for a visit I always leave with a bag of goodies containing a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss approved by the best dentists(RT Dental, of coarse)! When your waiting there is always a bunch of magazines to read full of intresting information! For kids there is a bin of childrens reading books that I can assure you are full of joy. Great Dentist with good hands and a calming, reassuring approach to patients. The office is located in a converted house and offers modern equipment with a homey, relaxed, family feel. The staff is friendly and professional. Parking is on the street or at Municipal lot about 1/2 block away. This patient recommends Dr Tom for all your family dentistry needs. My 88 yr old dad gets good dental care and enjoys the whole staff. My wife enjoys having her teeth cleaned and always points out her extra two teeth which they do not charge for! I've been coming to this practice long before Dr Tom owned it. While it's always a little nerve wracking when a new doctor takes over, that was not the case here. Dr Tom is very knowledgeable and has a good "bedside manner." I've always been very nervous going to the dentists office however the calm environment and welcoming staff make it much more bearable. Back in September, I had a filling come loose and Dr Tom was able to fix it right away. In addition to a great staff, the building is also clean and well put together. I can not recommend Dr. Tom strongly enough. I called him while I was in absolute agony and he got me right in and took the pain away. His gentle demeanor and excellent technique made me very comfortable and made all the difference. I used to have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist but Dr. Tom has changed all that. My husband and I needed a new dentist when we moved. We have been coming to this office for 2.5 years now. I've never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. The staff and dentist remember your name. Everyone is genuinely friendly. They go out of their way to accommodate your schedule when making appointments. The office is clean. They're efficient. They don't condescendingly lecture you. This is the most enjoyable Dentist office that I have ever been to. I've had about four appointments with this office and every single time I feel good when I leave. They don't hurt you which happens at other Dentist offices they frequently check in to see if you're still doing OK they listen to your concerns and really try to get to the bottom of things if something is happening. I had another wonderful experience at RT Dental office in Nutley. I went in for a routine hygiene appointment and mentioned that I was having a little discomfort in one tooth after eating the green bean salad. The hygienist promptly took x rays and brought it to doctor Tom's attention. He evaluated the X-ray and did a quick oral exam.
