They are incredible, attentive, considerate, they listen, they have a sense of urgency, they are really nice, and cheaper than those other big names who all got bought out by some M&A co to strip it. PPWS has great equipment, great water, and truly, they treat us like a member of the family. One of the owners came to my office same day I contacted them, and I had a new machine and full bottles, making all of my employees happy! We immediately told everyone else in the building that'd been lied to by the other guys, and waiting for their water to show up. The others in my building did what I did, contacted PPWS, and got water! These guys at PPWS are AWESOME! They treat you, just like they'd like to be treated. Oh, and they follow up- how's the machine, water ok, anything you need? AMAZING! Stop waiting for the other guys to deliver water you've been promised over and over, but are never gonna get. Get the much better alternative- pure point water solutions!

Agree with the concept of grifting. I paid this plumber thousands of dollars to do basic plumbing work in our new co-op, and knew I was being vastly overcharged but did it because he was known to our contractor and building. But here's the RUB: As part of the work, we had the plumber install a water line for an icemaker, and another completely shady outlet, AJ Madison, delivered the wrong refrigerator -- meaning the day BEK Plumbing was finishing work in the kitchen, no icemaker could be installed. Fast forward six weeks -- we finally get the correct refrigerator delivered, and just to come back and finish the work we'd paid for, BEK/Dzema wanted $550. TO HOOK UP AN ICE LINE THAT WE'D PAID HIM FOR. It's so egregious it's almost funny. We were left in the lurch with the wrong refrigerator and he wanted to FURTHER PROFIT off our hardship. Meantime, the dishwasher he installed leaks and doesn't work properly, but in a MILLION YEARS I'd never let this grifter back into our apartment. Clearly with these "business" practices and lack of ethics he's struggling -- and he should. Constantly trying to cheat people catches up with you eventually.

He cancelled on me twice with next to no communication. When I was able to reach him by phone, he was argumentative and dismissive. I came away feeling that my job was an inconvenience and far less important than the other projects he had going on. After repeated delays and ignored phone calls, I finally told my superintendent that I was no longer interested in working with Jack and would find someone else. Ironically he became available within the hour. What made the experience especially disappointing is that I had hired him for a kitchen plumbing job the year before. I expected a returning customer to be treated with at least a basic level of professionalism and respect, but that wasn't my experience. Poor communication, unreliable scheduling, inflated pricing, and an unprofessional attitude. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Luckily somebody on our neighborhood Facebook group recommended Tommy a while back and I left him a voice message. He called back right away, was available the next morning, showed up on time, fixed our issues in no time and was overall a really nice person to deal with. I had used Empire but I felt they only solved the issue temporarily and they were very costly to happen again after 6montha. So I decided to call Roto Rooter. Two young in experience Plumbers came to my home.They stayed 30mins used a 50ft snake once and told me there was nothing that can be done that O would need to contact the city to break the concrete to get at the drain with the blockage. Looking through the internet for another Plumber I saw great reviews about O'Grady so decided to get another opinion. John called me and he was super sweet and tmasked all the right questions. He sent over Con. Con was so knowledgeable and went beyond any Plner that we have had work on the drain. He snaked twice, did the jet three times and did the camera to show me what was going with my the drain. If it was another Plumber they would have gave up after a hour. But Con worked on my drain for 4 hours and made the drain was good. With all that said they also charged me half the cost of the work. Any other Company would have charged double or triple. I recommend O'Grady 1000%! They are good people who care!

A subsequent return visit using a hydrojet and video camera assured me that the drain was fully cleared of ANY blockage. New York Rooter was professioanl, fair and upfront with their service and price. The serviceman took the time to explain the problem and provided reasonable options. I would use them again.
