I've spent countless hours looking for a solid vehicle often being steered into questionable corners via craigslist and Auto Trader. Oh you want me to pay for the car within the next 2 days before I even come see it? Oh you want me to pay through Amazon and they'll take care of shipping? Oh you're going to Afghanistan so you need my money now? F right off skammer. So I was a little skeptical to inquire about a posting of an almost too good to be true 2004 Saturn Vue I found on Kelly Blue Book. The receptionist at Schafer Chevrolet connected me with Jared . I mentioned I'd like to come take a look at the car and will have to take off work for it so it won't be until later in the week. He says, "We can bring the car to you for you to take a look at. You like it, you put down a $100 deposit to ensure it's yours, and if you don't like it... no harm no foul." WHAT?!?! You mean you'll have someone drive 2 hours to ME when my schedule allows? AWESOME! It worked out like a charm. A nice, sweet, and unbiased retired Auto Salesmen drove the car down to ME for ME to test drive. Naturally I fell in love with the car and put a deposit on it the next day. Jared was nothing but honest, patient, helpful, and very accommodating with my needs. I would recommend Schaefer Chevrolet to ANYONE. They've been in business for over 80 years and there's a reason for that. They really cater to YOUR needs.

I was in the Tawas area on a short vacation with my wife. The trans on my 2007 Outlook stopped…read moreworking and had it towed to Dean Arbour. Was told that is would take a day for the parts to come in and fix. They gave me a loaner and told me go where ever I needed. Came back the next day and was told that they needed more parts and that I could drive the loaner back to Livonia ( a three hour drive). Two weeks later my car was not ready, the trans on the loaner went bad. Dean Arbour sent me another loaner to drive until mine was ready. Two more weeks later they delivered my car to me. Yes it took them a month to fix my car but I can't complain too much since they gave me a loaner to use. They kept me informed on the progress and were always professional.
