It's a small FM but it is nice to but locally grown veggies and fruit. I walked away with tomatoes, plums, spicy pickled okra and a bottle of Albariño wine from a local winery. I took two loops around and ate some free samples.

The cutest little farmers market! Tons of variety- you can find local honey, jams, jewelry, cool plants for indoor and outdoor, fruits, vegetables, goat cheese, handmade soaps, ect.. there's about 25 tents. But overall it's really cute and small. I love supporting local. We picked up some jam from Connie Creations, and local honey from Honey Apple Farms, a Swiss cheese hanging plant, basil infused olive oil, as well as a really cute spoon custom ring from a little jewelry trailer called (Renferno's Silverware Art). Overall tons of goodies !

Just park and walk around to shop at the various vendor tents.

Went to the Richardson Farmers Market this Saturday morning around 11:30 am and it's hot - in the mid 90's. The vendors are all nicely spaced out and friendly! Many just said "hi!" and smiled as we walked by. Lots of fresh vegetables, homemade craft and food items and wine! I will definitely plan to come back on a day when temperatures are a tad cooler. Or I'll try to come earlier in the morning. Now that I know what's here, I can plan to look for certain things on my next visit.

Great place to visit and shop local vendors from around the DFW area. I locally made honey, Hatch green chile and Chimayo Red Chile sauces, and homemade Texas salsa. There is a great selection of wines, fruits and vegetables, cheesecake cupcakes, Cajun Eggrolls, and too many other great things to list here. They are usually open every Saturday.

Lovely, luscious, ripe, red pears - ready to eat!

It's a good farmers market, better than most. But be prepared to pay farmers market prices. Still, a lot of fun for a weekend morning.

One of the weekends each month they do food products only, and the other Saturday it's kind of an open fair thing where anyone can go so you'll get people who make all sorts of things. We're particularly partial to the local meats from Windy Hill because they are always delicious. This lady from Waggin' Tail treats comes there a lot too and she makes the best dog treats ever. Also there's a company that brings fresh pasta called Lucido's Produce & Herbs which is phenomenal. They even have frozen ravioli in all kinds of flavors which are omgtodiefor. The vendors either take cash or check. You can get cash from inside the gas station, the cashier will do it for you for a $2 charge (like an ATM). It's in the parking lot of the Green Spot Market & Fuels, which also has probably the best taco place in Dallas (Good 2 Go Taco). Awesome! Overall, I absolutely love this part of my community and I'm going to miss it terribly when I move next year. Below are all the dates left for 2010: September 11 September 25* October 9 October 23* November 13 December 11 (* = food only)

Super cute local market in Lakewood!…read more I think the term "farmers market" is a misnomer since there was only an itty bitty selection of produce and fresh foods. What they do offer is lots of local products like baked goods, soaps, salsas and unique crafts. I love supporting small, local businesses so this market is right up my alley. I copped some yummy French macaroons and a spicy marinade that I can't wait to try with some fish for dinner. It's small and the location changes every other week so be sure to check their website before you head out. I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area but I would not make a special trip or anything.

Wondering why they cannot keep up with the Jones. Just pick up some trashes on the floors, arrange the fresh food ales accordingly, and there were so much flies!!! Do you see that in other grocery stores??. Nawaoooo, this one is too much. Checkout staffs weren't friendly at all, at least greet your customers with a little bit of smile and that does not cost nothing; Abegoo! Then with a long line of more than 6-8 customers, you should be able to open up another checkout lane to serve your customers well. Please, don't take this personally cos, it's not. Avoid them like plague, Worst place ever…read more They sell spoilt food items, avoid them like plaque,If there is an option for a zero star, I would gladly give them. I came here to buy bags of food items to re-stock my pantry. The huge bag of Gari bought was spoilt, has foul odor and taste horrible and unfit for consumption . Everyone in the family spot confirms this immediately. I had on other occasions over looked spoilt yams bought from this store by just trashing them and moving on. But on this occasion , i had to drive 40 miles with the bag of Gari back to them ,so they could at least see for themselves what they are selling to the public. Their customer care was so poor that they refuse to even touch, smell or taste the gari to confirm. They were so rude and lack any iorta of customer care , they just told me nothing is wrong with it and nothing could be done about it. I advice them to taste from the batches of same batch of bags on the rack were it was sold from to confirm, the never bulge nor show any remorse. I was not ready to ruffle my gentleman-ship because of a bag of gari, i simply left it with them and went to a nearby African Store at Richland to buy another bag of Gari. Avoid them like plague, Worst place ever.
