Two weeks later and I hadn't heard back from him so I texted for an update with no response. Again the following week I texted for an update and again no response. On 10/2/24 I again texted and said that I would give him until 5 pm today 10/4/24 to get back to me or I would be giving him an unfavorable review. I even called at 4:35pm and could only leave a voicemail. And still no response. Should you contact him good luck.

His price was completely reasonable and a pleasant surprise! I drove over 10 hours home with NO ISSUES.

It is not far so I went and thought I would give it a chance. There was a large neon sign in the window saying "OPEN". The door was locked and the front door had stickers all over it. One of them said they opened at ten. This was after that time. There was a door on the left. No answer. I called the phone number and got a recording. There was a sign that said parking for another business on the right so I did not want to go over there. I went back the next day with the same results. When I got home I called and this time left a message saying I had been there twice and if they let me know when someone would be there I would come back. This is the voice mail message I got: " Hi..calling you back uh if you been here all you had to do is read the door I leave a note on the door today it said working out back. All you had to do were outback is very simple follow the signs uh if you were here another day. The sign said back a 1 o'clock then I was back at 1 o'clock. Read the sign on the doors. look for a special message and above that is the special secret message. Very simple. All you had to do was open your eyes". The tone of the message was sarcastic and extremely rude. I called back and the owner said he could talk to anyone, anyway he wanted and to take my business elsewhere. This guy has no concept of customer service. All he had to say is I was out back, please come back. The way this person treated me was unbelievable. In my opinion, you would be better off going anyplace else or drive to another State. Other wise you will be treated like dirt. PLEASE do not go there.

Someone picks up, immediately puts down the phone without telling me to hold on, and I can literally hear them swearing at someone (a customer?) in the background. I decided to hang up and bring my business elsewhere. About an hour later, I get a phone call from the place... the person (the owner I presume) asked me what he could help me with, and then immediately cuts me off and condescendingly tells me that instead of hanging up earlier I should have left a voice message... hmmm, I told him that I didn't get an answering machine when I called earlier, someone picked up the phone. Maybe he was confused, but either way, pretty rude to condemn your potential customers for not leaving a voice message. Before I could explain anything, the guy says "well you've got the voicemail now" and hangs up on me. After stewing on it for 10 minutes, I decided to call back and ask him if he treats all of his potential customers like this, or if perhaps he was confusing me for someone else that he was having problems with... he answered the phone by screaming "what do you want?!" and then hung up again before I could say more than 2 words. I am in shock that someone like this actually runs a business. On my worst day, I've never treated a customer (or potential customer) this poorly - I felt compelled to write a review to warn others. I get the feeling I'm not the only one who has had this kind of experience with Sebago Canvas Shop. How a business like this can exist in this day and age is beyond me... then again, he must be doing pretty well for himself if he can turn away potential customers like they re worthless. Worst customer service I've endured in years. Hopefully others will have a better experience than I just did.

Over 3 days, we explored the Maine Locke system, Long Lake and the amazing fireworks. The total was about $2500 but completely worth while. This was the best and last week of summer. They seemed unhappy dealing with the tourist crowd. But things improved after that first day. The boat was in good condition aside from a broken gas gauge. First, after giving Brenda 3 weeks notice for pulling my boat, we were curtly told that was not enough time. (Keep in mind our 3 year agreement for maintenance and storage boasted preferential treatment.) This required me to hire someone to trailer my boat to them when our agreement was for me to drop it off in the water at their docks. After picking it up in the spring, in the water I noticed an area on the bottom of my boat that was damaged. Unfortunately, it was after the water had warmed up and I snorkeled under the boat to notice it. I did not expect them to own up to it and advised them I would fix it myself. (The oil was also over filled) What annoys me is she never acknowledged or responded to my email. There main office in Portland also ignored my complaint.
