I had an extraordinary experience with Long Lake Marina. I rented a 20' Bayliner for four days for my three kids and I- Monday-Thursday. Unfortunately, the weather was TERRIBLE on Monday and Thursday. Long Lake Marina gave me a credit for Monday and Thursday, so I only paid for the days we used. This allowed me the budget to bring the kids elsewhere.. indoor bounce parks, dinners etc. If they hadn't been so kind, our vacation wouldn't have been so wonderful. Also, the speedboat was AMAZING. The nicest boat on Sebago Lake that weekend. Even the guy at the Marina gas station was admiring it, asking us about how fast etc. Amazing service, amazing people- a kind, honest business with integrity. I WILL go out of my way to buy my boat there when I'm ready within the next year or two. What comes around, goes around so I'll definitely be back. read more

Our boating experience at LLM was a year-old event that ended in heartbreak.  Once we signed an almost $40,000 contract with LLM, we were treated as a nuisance when focused to call them about the missing items in the signed contract.  We attempted to work over a year with LLM Service Department Staff to resolve the missing items with no luck, empty promises and "the check is in the mail".    It was clear that LLM had no plans on honoring the signed contract.  I even reached out to the Better Business Bureau to help resolve these many issues, who also had no luck with a response from LLM. In the end, My husband and I had to make the heart wrenching decision to sell our beloved boat back to LLM.  We just cannot work with people who disregard signed contracts... or their word for that matter. 40,000.00 may not be a lot of money to LLM, but it is to these Two Essential workers.  Buying a boat is big investment that requires a lot of servicing so warrantees are honored.  That is not to be taken lightly.   We have saved many emails, VM and conversations backing up the statements above. I'm choosing not to get into details as it really was a long year of endless promises, disrespect and outright lies from the service department staff. James at LLM did make arrangements to have the boat picked up after purchasing it back. We thought this was really a turning point in regards to their integrity.. We were told pick up time would be 9:30 am. Unfortunately, whoever was driving the LLM truck arrived at 8:40 am came on our property, took the boat without attempting to knock on our door and left with our boat's license plate still attached.  Both of which is illegal... but then again not honoring a signed contract is illegal as well.. LLM please send our boat's license plate back. At this point my husband and myself can't take stomach calling LLM one more time and be treated with disrespect. Buyers beware.. read more

This is the best marina in the area. It is extremely well run, efficient, reasonably priced, and they provide great service and value. I have stored and serviced my boat with Long Lake Marina for over 6 years after some bad experiences with other local marinas, and they have always over delivered in terms of being service oriented, timely and organized. When my boat had an electrical problem and needed to be towed in while we were on vacation, I called from my cellphone and they sent a trailer to a nearby lake to pick up the boat. The part was replaced and the boat delivered back the next day. Who could ask for more? LLM also has a great selection of boats and parts and rentals. Jim, the owner, is a great guy and his workers are always professional and polite. read more

I have a 2017 yamaha vx high output Jet ski under warranty. Brought it to long lake marina to have my key fob reprogrammed. I was told by a young man that it wasn't and it would cost 65$ to reprogram it. Then said if you bought it here I would have fixed it for nothing. I called yamaha and they said it is covered under warranty. I will never go to this place again and I will spread the news. It was complete B.S. read more

This company got possession of my boat via a buy out of another local marina. I was willing to give them a chance to keep my business. I called them to prepare my boat for the summer, they said it would be ready in two weeks. Over two weeks later when I heard nothing from the service dept. I called them back, I was told my boat needed additional service and it would be ready in another week. I agreed to the additional service. Waited, again for over two weeks, after hearing nothing from LLM I had to call them back again , I found that the work on my boat wasn't even started. Bottom line, it had been five weeks from my first call and I still have no boat. Having wasted enough time in a short boating season, I picked up my boat and moved on to another service center. The day before I picked up the boat I specifically asked LLM if all the winterization services I paid for at the previous marina were done. When I arrived to pick up my boat I saw that some of the work wasn't done. They wouldn't give me a refund on the work they were supposed to do. This company has serious customer service issues and failed to retain this customer, Beware. read more

I bot a boat lift 'Hewitt ' , it came assembled. The price was ok, it was delivered in may, they put it in the water with my help. However, not less than 3 months later , 9 weeks. The lift fell apart, the nut and bolts came out , the uprights that hold the rails bent. I could not put my new boat on the lift because I could not trust it!,,,,,!,, I called Allen who sold me the lift he said I must have hit it and bent it. I have been driving boats on the ocean and the lakes for 40 years. I own a boat lift for 15 years, never had a problem!! I got a new lift because I got a bigger boat. I sold my 23 year old lift for a 1000.00? I called Hewitt and sent them pictures, they said it was the guys who assemale it. Allen said he sent a replacement part, but I never received it!! I brought the pieces to a local dock manufacturer, he said Hewitt used low quality aluminum? They securEd the pieces and I had to fix the lift. DO NOT BUY HEWITT AND FROM LONGLAKE!! read more
