I spent hours calling liquor stores in the area inquiring about a collectible liquor and each store answered the same way- with a , "huh?" I was so impressed when I called this particular store and spoke with Cody who immediately knew exactly what I was asking for!!! My husband had literally just said I should give up- and I tried one last place. Thankfully, I got LUCKY!!! Cody spoke with me and took the time to find out exactly what we were looking for and went so far above and beyond what I ever expected. I cannot recommend this place enough! This is not your average beer store! This store has a very well informed staff and if they treat complete strangers with such respect and appreciation as they did me, I can only imagine how they treat their regulars! Cheapest liquor store in town! It's a bit dated outside and chaotic on the inside, but I bet they'll have whatever you're in need of! If you are looking for something alcoholic to drink, you would be hard pressed not to find it here. There are rows and rows of everything you could hope to find. I had heard that the aisles were crowded and that was not a lie. This is not a place to bring a child with grabby hands or a large shoulder bag, as bottles may hit the floor... Their wine selection is extensive. It covers everything from expensive and well ranked wine to boxed wine to inexpensive supersized bottles. After shopping at Richies for 8 years since moving to Pensacola, I will no longer. A man who I assume is the owner was extremely rude when I asked about an item that seemed to be on sale per a sign hanging directly below it and it's sister product. When I asked why the sign was located 1/2 way between the Moet & Chandon Brut and Rose Brut if it only applied to one he quickly tore it down and acted quite childish in doing so. Pretty nice little liquor store. Nothing overly fancy, just fully stocked at decent prices. Stopped in here on a recent weekend visit to Pensacola, and needed a store to pick up supplies for a poker night at a relative's house. Noticed this place was nearby, so we decided to swing on in. Fairly easy to get to, and plenty of parking. This place is PACKED, as other reviews have stated, it's almost too much crammed into a small store, but in my opinion, you can never have too much booze crammed into a store. Just be careful walking around you don't knock over a bottle! This place has everything. Great wine and liquor selection, and pretty good beer selection. Majority of the beer is cold and ready to drink. Really great selections in terms of sizes and brands, you will definitely find what you're looking for here. Prices are comparable with any other store in the area, and they always have lots of sales going on. Employees are friendly, and they always have their TV tuned to a sporting event, so you never miss the scores if you're picking up something for your big party. Great place to swing in, definitely recommended if you're in the area. read more

Currently the duchess of this place. Hahaha duchess of a liquor store!!!! Its close to the house and they have all the things I like in one little place. Pretty good wine selection too. But warning warning warning....... its a shit show inside. Cramped, leaning boxes of liquor all over the place, all the people in Pensacola you DON'T want to run into while holding a bottle of vodka, and God help you if you encounter someone brave enough to use a shopping cart that weighs over 250lbs you will not be able to pass them in the isle. Friendly staff will ring you up and you can make a quick dash to your car before your spotted by someone else you'd rather not see. Great place. read more

Look out on the prices. They will raise $4+ at the counter. When questioned they said it was miss-priced. When asked if they would honor the marked price, the response was no they were a private company. Even though every bottle on the shelf was priced the same. Of course the price was changed before I left the store. I get mistakes happen, but how much harm would it have caused to honor the price and then correct it. Had they done so, they would have kept my business. I typically shop at the downtown location but was in north Pensacola and went to location near nine mile. I'm in business and to me a lost customer is far more costly that a $4 mistake. read more
