They ask every customer to leave a review because they take pride in their service. We'll here you go! DO NOT use them unless it's for a standard Groupon service - oil change, state inspection, BASIC tune up because the price is actually printed. BUT if you're willing to take that chance on real auto work, make sure you get a written estimate BEFORE they perform the work (like real auto shops are supposed to do). 2/07 around 4p we verbally discussed they would need a few hours to check if I installed my O2 sensors, coils, etc correctly or if new parts were necessary. The NEXT day around 315p he called to say the work was completed. Complete? How bc I never got a follow up? He mentioned driving my car 100mph down the tollways and my check engine light never appeared. SIDE NOTE - it rained a lot the night before and thru the next day. He said that he went to AutoZone and bought ALL NEW sensors (4) because what I bought were wrong. Mind you - the previous week he INSTALLED one of my "wrong" sensors and charged me $85! and didn't mention anything about it being a wrong part then. I was disturbed by the high speeds on the tollways because of the rain AND purchasing/installing ALL new parts WITHOUT my consent. Then he tells me that he charges $85 an hour for labor and if I don't AGREE with his services that he completed WITHOUT my consent, then he charges $450 to undo everything. Like WTF?!!!! So he charges me $550 in sensors that I paid $300 for at Rockauto or Amazon AND $450 to uninstall parts that I would've never agreed to pay for in the first place. Then proceeds to tell me that if my check engine light comes back on that he can't help me (it obviously came back on 10 minutes after I got my car back). I told him that he was scam and I would never agree to this service. My wife planned on getting her brakes installed by them for $700 but I told her no after their stunt with my car. He gave me some speech about OEM parts and that Rockauto and amazon not gave me the wrong items and that he's done this for 20 years. The man barely looks 30, and I told him to not judge my intelligence. He lowered his uninstall price to $300 but still wasn't able to provide a written estimate of why and what all had been done. I told him that I just want my car back and felt like it was being held hostage until I paid an amount for service I NEVER agreed to. They took it upon themselves to purchase more expensive parts AND install them before going over any of it with me. He just repeated that I wanted the check engine light off. We'll yes, but at what cost and did you have my approval and a provide a written estimate prior to work being done? NO!! And now I have to pay $300 to have them UNINSTALL their mistake just to get my car back?! They're shady and I wouldn't trust them with ANYTHING that's not covered with with a Groupon. And read the fine print.

Great job, even better customer service. Mr. Zee is the best you can ask for, he's prompt, gets you answers fast and doesn't bullsh*t around about getting it done quick. The rest of the staff is just as quick and easy to work with too. I didn't speak to them much but watching them work with other customers definitely 5/5 worthy!

I was told $140 was cheapest available? Wow busted guys, so wrong!

My first two encounters with this shop back in the winter of 2025 were good. The first time, a…read moreblond, kind mechanic did some troubleshooting due to a noise I was hearing but wasn't able to find anything, and didn't charge me. The second time, in December, my check-engine light went on due to the EGR system. I had had work done on this system before, so it was troublesome that the check-engine light was illuminating yet again. When I brought it to this shop, I was hoping to see the same mechanic who helped me before (Isaiah?). I didn't, but another mechanic did, a tall, dark-haired man who was also kind (Joel?). He replaced my EGR valve. The check-engine light stayed off for 2-3 months; then, it tripped again (not a commentary on "Joel's" work as I know the fuel/air intake can be an issue). So, I took it back to this NRH shop (7659 Blvd 26), hoping to see "Joel" again and see if he could remedy the problem, hopefully for minimal or no cost since I'd already paid $225 to have this repaired. Alas, "Joel" was not there. Nor was "Isaiah". Only one guy I'd seen before in my previous visits was still there; I assume he is the manager, perhaps the owner. All other personnel I didn't recognize, including a stocky guy in black sweatpants whom I'd never seen before. The "manager" and a very young man, perhaps his son, told me to come back the next day because the "main" mechanic (I assumed "Joel") was out sick but would be back tomorrow. The "manager" told me to bring my receipt; I don't mind that, but with the work having been done recently, in December, couldn't they verify it via their computer system? I showed up the following day, receipt in hand, and showed it to the "manager". He went in the shop to talk to the "stocky guy" and returned a few minutes later, stating that the part that was installed was defective and that he'd just charge me for labor. What I'm wondering is how he was able to determine that the part was defective so quickly if that was really the case. Things didn't add up in this and subsequent situations. On 02-28-2026, I wish I'd never handed over my keys, that's for sure. Sitting in the waiting room for 90 minutes or so, seeing more customers come in one after another, gave me time to think. "Isaiah" is gone. "Joel" is gone. All new people. They said their "main" mechanic would be here today, but he's not. No computerized system of tracking receipts/work. I really doubt that EGR valve is defective. I started to have a really, REALLY ... REALLY BAD FEELING. It was one of those kinds of 6th-sense feelings that you should NEVER ignore. So, I got the ball rolling ... With some resistance, I was able to get my car back. I also had to ASK for my receipt. That was another red flag. Anyway, as soon as I left, something was blatantly not right. At first, I thought, "Oh it's just me." I had to push the brake pedal really hard to get my vehicle to come to a ROLLING stop, not an on-demand stop. It wouldn't do the latter at all. So I drove it around this strip-mall parking lot for a bit. There was no way I was going back to that stocky guy and risk more damage. I managed to get on the highway, but the problem was becoming more difficult to manage in busy traffic. I exited as soon as I could. I took it to a Discount Tire out of not knowing where to take it because I'd been a customer of theirs in the past. Well, THAT didn't do me any good! Then I saw Mavis across the street had "brakes" on their sign, so I took it there. At Mavis, two up and coming mechanics came out, to help me, James & Mustafa. Colton assisted as well. I popped the hood. Lo & behold, a Wal-mart plastic shopping bag was deliberately stuck and clamped down between the air filter and the intake duct. Then James found that my nearby brake line had been disconnected and that a pair of channel locks were still lying near one of my hood-locks, under the hood during my unexpected trip to Mavis. That explains why that hood-lock now sits incorrectly above the hood and the hood lock pin is broken. Gee, thanks Stocky! All of this to say this: I think what's going on here is the "manager" of this 7659 NRH Auto shop on Blvd 26 is probably either not paying his qualified mechanics enough and/or not giving them enough time off (They're open everyday, not that that matters unless you want to increase your auto repairs and waste your precious time.) To deal with not enough mechanics, he brings in a willing party ("Stocky") who is obviously not qualified (ASE certified). So, James and Mustafa got me safely back on the road, and Colton helped smooth out the rough spots in my shaken-up state upon seeing the damage done. It became apparent that when James and Mustafa were taking off the Wal-mart bag, that Stocky had already damaged the edge of the intake duct. So, Stocky has costed me $30 for a new intake duct and $100 for the broken hood lock, not to mention wasted time and the frustration with a business/persons that lie.
