We played in a golf tournament here yesterday and there was a rainstorm. Following rain play resumed and it was obvious cart part only would be in effect. There was a bearded heavy set man in a golf cart with a dog that was yelling and harassing everyone about staying on the cart path (including our foursome and we only left the cart path to avoid hazardous potholes). Prices up 37% since last season - on the promise of coming improvements. Sounds like the owner doesn't want to invest his own money to improve his product, but rather get the money up front from the customer, who may or may not ever see any promised improvement. I'd want to see some real documented improvements before going back. Definitely not a $73 weekday course as it stands. read more

A solid course, I definitely enjoyed my two rounds here. Used to be another course, new management came in and changed the name and did several updates from what I could tell. Putting green may seem to have slopes that are too steep, but that's what you'll face all day. Great greens here at Richland. Definitely need to play here more often to get a better idea of where to leave the ball. I had too many downhill sliders the last time I was here. Can't make many of those. Range seems to have been update from what I can remember. More open space and better golf balls to use as well. Water left makes me think they go through a bunch or just pay someone to get them out often. Course is solid. Most of it is in front of you. Lots of doglegs and it pinches in, so I don't think I would hit driver as often next time. Placement off the tee is important. With the greens as they were, placement off the approach shot is necessary too. Can't see too many super low scores here. Fun yes, but just a touch too far for me to warrant playing more than once every several years. read more

Great golf course. Friendly staff. Prices incredibly reasonable! New owners are managing the golf course beautifully. I am so glad to have played this course and I'll be back weekly. Adam was awesomely friendly as was the rest of the staff. Food and drink options need to be expanded as I'd like to not only play golf here but also eat and drink too so I hope to see and be able to enjoy that soon. Great value for the money. They don't force people into foursomes. Again great value. Course is not as walkable as it is hilly but the scenery as a result is spectacular. Definitely give this course a try. read more

I was driving past, and a golf ball flew out of the green, hitting my side view mirror, on the driver side, with my window wide open. If it had been 1 inch higher, instead of denting my Side view mirror, it would have hit me square in the face, very likely killing me. This golf course needs better protections as it is right up against the road, and clearly the members don't take safety seriously. Who in the world was hitting a golf ball towards the road. I tried to call them to let them know there was a reckless golfer but never reached anything other than an automated message. They shouldn't be allowed to remain open. read more

Anytime you wait 15 min last your tee time for a cart is a joke! Especially a cart that you have to call the pro shop on hole 1 to have them come replace it. The manager on-site is a pompous ass who could care less. This used to be a nice place to go play. Not enough carts on a Monday... I can only imagine how it is on weekends. Played this course on 9/19 and it was in horrible condition and way over priced. The cart quit on the 2nd hole. The bunkers were in playable. Tees and greens were full of crabgrass. No beverage cart at all on Sunday. The bar and restaurant weren't open on Sunday either. Will not be back! read more

Worst course I've played in a long time. Bad all around. The course is rough, no ball wash stations, no water jugs, divots all over the fairways, rocks and standing water in bunkers, no beverage carts on a Saturday afternoon. Going into the clubhouse the men's restroom smells horrible. The price is right at 50 bucks or so with a cart, but I won't be back. read more

This course is not worth the money. It cost $60 for a Sunday after 2pm, which I was willing to pay; however, there were a number of issues. The course was in poor condition - greens filled with all marks, burn spots, etc. The fairway bunkers were filled with dirt, not sand - rocks everywhere. Fairways were decent, but obviously no one is encouraged to repair divots. The driving range was also rough. Not flags indicating distance, tee area in disrepair. Apparently, they are going to build a range. It looks nice, we will see. There was not a Starter or Ranger on the course. Those are all things to deal with, honestly; however, the worst was that they ran out of water on the course. It was 90 out and sunny. After getting to a water station on the course, I called the club house to inform them there was no water. The rude employee shared there were plenty of stations on the course to which I shared I understood and I was at one, and the container was empty. I asked if he could send someone out. He said he would send a drink cart around, but they would need cash - which I said was fine. Needless to say, the cart never arrived, our foursome was really upset, and it will be the last time I go to this course. read more

Food was disgusting. Burger was raw in the middle. I'm having stomach issues from the food that is overpriced. Lettuce was wilted and looked days old. Course has an extremely limited number of yardage markings. Course conditions weren't bad. Sand traps are more like gravel waste bunkers. Beverage cart girl wasn't happy to be there at all. No one who was working was smiling. This workplace must have some low morale. Then again, Hollow Creek management wasn't much better. read more

Earlier this month, I attended a retirement party here. The hors d'oeuvres were delightful as was the bartender and the bar service. The dinner provided options of a mashed potato bar, cuts of beef, rolls, salads and fajitas. All of the food I tasted was delicious. I would recommend this place for a meal or any kind of casual gathering ! read more

We would not have pulled off such a detailed oriented and DIY wedding without the help of Miss Jenny (Venue coordinator) and her entire staff. Miss Jenny is super sweet nice and accommodating. Despite her busy schedule (and vacation days), she made sure she responded to all my phone calls and email. The food was fantastic (special thanks to the chef and her cooks) and Miss Jenny accommodated everything we needed (ie. Cake stands, cake cutting silverware, sand buckets for sparklers, platters for the desserts, all the linen /napkin colors I wanted, opening doors for us for decorating). The venue is beautiful and classy yet not extremely expensive. I highly recommend this place and I know you'll love working with Miss Jenny and her staff. read more

The only reason this course gets 2 stars is because the layout is solid. Some challenging fairways and aprons and pretty fun... now if you play in the morning, they don't pay attention to the watering on the course. We had to call the clubhouse and still wait on at least 5 holes for the sprinklers to turn off. Then they were on so long that everything was over watered. It was like we were playing after a rain storm over night. 17's tee we were literally standing in water that breeched our shoes and soaked us. Every green was different and because of the water, the greens were inconsistent across themselves. Some spots speed up and others slow down based on the amount of water. The clubhouse seems like it's nice until you go into the bathrooms. Smell awful, and are not maintained. Walked in at 7:10 and they were obviously not cleaned the night before, pretty sure I was the first person in there since we were the first group out. Some things need to change before I come back, and I'd like to because that course layout was nice. read more

It is a nice course, would play there again but......Holes are not well numbered if numbered at all. We were a foursome. Many twosomes behind us. We let some play thru but our round would have been five hours if let all groups play thru. As it was, our round was four and a half hours. This was on a Wednesday. Staff was very nice. read more

A terrific value course. A very nice layout, very well kept. The staff was personable, helpful and pleasant. Would like to have played better, but that's not their fault! Our group was on a three day golf trip and this was far and away the best value of the weekend. Look forward to playing it again next time I'm out that way. read more
