Played in a charity tournament and got to see Michael Michaelides, a long drive champion, hit some bombs. Crazy impressive.

A solid course, I definitely enjoyed my two rounds here. Used to be another course, new management came in and changed the name and did several updates from what I could tell. Putting green may seem to have slopes that are too steep, but that's what you'll face all day. Great greens here at Richland. Definitely need to play here more often to get a better idea of where to leave the ball. I had too many downhill sliders the last time I was here. Can't make many of those. Range seems to have been update from what I can remember. More open space and better golf balls to use as well. Water left makes me think they go through a bunch or just pay someone to get them out often. Course is solid. Most of it is in front of you. Lots of doglegs and it pinches in, so I don't think I would hit driver as often next time. Placement off the tee is important. With the greens as they were, placement off the approach shot is necessary too. Can't see too many super low scores here. Fun yes, but just a touch too far for me to warrant playing more than once every several years.

Great place for a wedding! Very accommodating, beautiful venue, and all my guest complimented the food (the steak). Jenny was a great Coordinator. I feel like this venue is a hidden gem! I had the perfect intimate and elegant wedding of my dreams.

GPS in carts are not user friendly and slow. Putting and chipping areas area is small, but greens…read moreare in excellent condition. Driving range is very nice as well, BUT the cheap bastards limit you to one very small bucket of "complimentary" balls.......20 balls approximately. Barely enough to warm up with a range of clubs.

It's off of either 70 or Route 40, but it's an easy drive coming from most directions, as long as you don't hit any traffic. It was a great experience from beginning to the end, even with temps in the high 90s! The course is beautifully maintained, with some challenging fairways and the greens were fast today. The staff was friendly and check-in was quick. The clubhouse is pretty huge and has the gigantic windows that overlook the course. The cart lady was very nice and checked in on us a few times throughout our outing I can't say anything about the pace of place because we were out there on a weekday, during a heat wave, so there weren't a lot of other golfers. From what I've been told, the weekdays aren't usually that busy and definitely cheaper than other courses in the area, which is crazy. The only reason for giving it 4 stars is because maintenance was out the day we were and they were on quite a few fairways the same time we were so they seemed annoyed that we were in their way and sometimes we had to wait for them to clear out. This may have been a one off so when I go back, I'll update my review.

Wedding Venue Review:…read more My fiancé and I toured this venue on a Friday morning and absolutely loved it! Not only was the venue gorgeous, but Rachel, the amazing event sales manager, answered all of our questions and made us feel special as we toured for our special day. Rachel emailed me back and forth prior to our tour to answer any questions that I had. She explained that the tour itself was about 20 minutes, but she blocked out an hour of her time incase we had questions on site or for her to explain anything in more detail. We easily used the entire hour discussing how to make our dreams a reality. We have had experiences at other venues where we felt unheard or that our questions didn't matter. That was NOT the case with Rachel as she was attentive to our questions. In the rare instance that she didn't have an immediate answer, or if we wanted to see specific photos of the venue (sparkler send off, ceremony in rain), she took notes and sent an email within a few hours after meeting. After touring other venues, this is by far the best service that we have received.

I loved working with the coordinators, Susie, and particularly Bonnie and Sandy went out of their way to accommodate us. I wish I had more money to have all my parties at this venue. We were in…read moretown for a family reunion and hosted a dinner party at SMI one evening that was among the highlights of the family weekend. Manisha and Prashsant, owners of Stone Manor Inn, were personally involved in making sure all went smoothly with our cocktail and dinner party, and it most certainly did! SMI is a lovely old country inn on 14 acres, I believe, with a number of different venues (indoors and out) for meetings, parties, and weddings. The rooms (7 in total) were eclectic, in a good way. All four of their largest rooms that we occupied were spacious, with king beds and spa tubs with separate showers. All were well maintained and clean upon check-in. We had no complaints. I'm not sure when we will return to the area, but when we do, we will not hesitate to return!

I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!
