Mr. Don was able to do what I've only dreamt about- all these years I've been throwing money down the drain getting my hair colored- he took his time, was patient, kind and listened to everything I had to say- he looked at my pictures as guidance and was very caring to check on me throughout my whole visit! So many stylists always say- on your next visit...on your next visit- when I say I don't want orange hair. They always tell me that we can't lift it in one visit- well...Mr. Don did. Ive been there before with Jenny for dying my hair black and it was great experience! This time not so much. You get what you pay for in the sense that I only was charged $170 for colored highlights which I'm happy about but I asked for blue, purple, and pink and only got pink mostly with barely any purple and 2 strands of blue and very un even... also I was there from 10:40-4:10 and she saw way too many people also for color and ended up leaving bleach on for too long on me and another girl... stylist should use a timer or It fries your hair! I don't trust or recommend coming here unless its for a simple color like going darker, for a haircut or styling. read more

Yes, they were able to help me and when I called was told "how soon can you be here". 20 minutes later, magic started happening! I told Leo what I wanted and he went right to it. AMAZING! Simply amazing! Anh Dung (I think he also goes by Don) knows exactly what he is doing when it comes to hair! I had my hair cut by my stylist in AZ a few weeks before I moved here, but I just decided one day that I needed a change. So, off I went all the way to Dallas/Garland for my first TX haircut... Let's be honest, I was freakin' nervous. My hair was actually touching my waist before the scissors started snipping. I've had long hair since my bob in the 4th grade! I've NEVER cut it that short since elementary school and never intended to. However, I was in a new city, meeting new people, starting a new job...and decided I needed a new cut as well. :) I actually came about 1.5 hours early to my appointment because I didn't want to drive all the way home from IKEA and drive back. (It was out of the way for me since I live near the DFW airport). Surprisingly, I was immediately taken in for a shampoo wash by the coolest lady ever! Her hair was probably half a foot high and wide. :) She was super sweet and tried to get to know me and asked how I found out about the place and such. Then after the shampoo, anh Dung sat me down and that is where the magic happened... He was soooo nice and cool! VERY laid back and friendly! He made the long drive all worth it and even cut my hair an hour before my actual appointment even though I was willing to wait. He asked me how I wanted it cut and I said "Short. I want a change...with a lot of layers at the top of course." :) Well, he started snipping and before I knew it, my once "down-to-my-back hair" was now at my collar bone!! It was all gone! He snipped some more, then styled and REALLY took his time. I genuinely feel that he gave attention to each and every strand! Well, the haircut is over and I couldn't have been more pleased! This unbelievable I came here to get my hair done and this what happens a WEEK LATER. First I asked to do my whole hair to be purple and he turned out to do ombré instead. I didn't really say anything because he put a lot of work in it so I just said I liked it because the colors. He did a good job but it's not I wanted it. I question why he didn't do my roots, so I sent him a text thanking him and asking why he didn't do my roots. Instead of talking to me politely he insulted me and tried to save himself by saving " it's not my fault that you didn't know what a ombré is" UH SIR I HAD OMBRÉ HAIR BEFORE I CAME TO THE STORE AND I DIDNT ASKED FOR THAT. Whatever I brushed it off because I like the color but then a couple days later most of the purple started to faded... I was so disappointed. I did not spend almost $300 for my hair to be faded like that so fast. It's been less than a week. I had a couple friends who did the same color and there hair lasted a month or two before it started fading. But their hair didn't start fading to sliver or brown it was still purple. Just disappointment everywhere.. I couldn't just sit around when I spend a lot of money and to not say anything. I was definitely not going to talk to the guy who did my hair because most likely he's just going to save himself. So I went up to the salon yesterday ( Monday 9 ) exactly a week after my appointment to talk to them. The guy who didn't do my hair wasn't there and the front lady asked me to come again tomorrow and he will do my hair again. I asked her if there's another person who can do it because I don't trust him. She told me if I wanted to get another person to do it I have to pay again. I wasn't gonna to do that. So I decided to cancel my plans so I can come in and get my hair done again. When I got there today, he said I'm not doing your hair... wow okay. Since you're not doing my hair I want my money back. He started to argue with me and I told him if he wasn't going to do my hair then give me my money back. He didn't want to do it. I even talk to the owner and he didn't do anything about it. They just all turn around a watched TV. Talk about WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES. Not only I wasted my time going up there when I was told to, I wasted my time deciding to give them another chance. SO GLAD I DIDNT. Who knows what he would've done to my hair. End of the story I left because they weren't going to do my hair again or give me my money back. So guess what FUCK YALL, YALL FUCKING SUCK ASSSSSSSSSSS. Have a nice day. Oh and don't ask for Quc or qui. Whatever his name is. It last about 5 minutes but its so worth it. Everyone there are super friendly and professional. The staff is great. My sister and I have been coming to this salon since 2009. Don is the ONLY person we trust with our hair. We don't even have to tell him how to cut our hair; he just instinctively knows it! Make sure to call ahead and book an appointment with him beforehand because he is busy, especially on the weekends. We do not get our hair shampooed or styled here though, saves an extra five dollars. So for twenty-five dollars a person, it's worth it! We never/rarely get split ends because he cuts it in a way to avoid split ends. But side note, our hair is just long & straight and we get layers and side bangs. I was going to ask Lily to cut my hair because my bf and my brother's hair was cut by her and she did great. But anh Dung was free so he cut my hair for me.
