Of special note, their smoked pork chops, incredible assortment of brats, and thick bacon are all next level. A week or so ago my husband and I picked up some bratwurst. It was difficult making a decision which ones we wanted so we picked up a variety. I would be lying if I said they had at least 15 varieties. I think there were many more. Several of our favorite so far are the blueberry, pineapple jalapeño and the bacon. The gentleman who helped us was friendly with a great sense of humor. The shop is so much more than a butcher store though. You could definitely stop and pick up everything. I have always been pleased with the quality of the meats at The Meat Market. Ii only gave 3 stars because it appears they are not following CDC recommendations to keep everyone safe. Today I was there and was very disappointed that there were no signs regarding the need for social distancing and for wearing masks. And I was the only one there wearing a mask. Not even the employees were weAring masks. And I have to agree with a previous reviewer that they need to be wearing gloves when handling meat. Not sure how I feel about going in again- no gloves and no masks and we have a pandemic going on. read more

Great meat market in a small town. Best beef and pork combo. But, the staff needs to consider using plastic gloves when handling the meat, then the cash, then back to the meat with bare hands, customer after customer. That would go a long way in my book. Best meat anywhere in the state. Walk right past the meat at the grocery store and right into Richland Meat Center. Great service too. Ribeye is to die for. Little Lawry's season salt and add a fresh vegetable and glass of wine and it's a perfect night! The kabobs are marinated and also excellent, the porkchops too and the brats. It's all good!
