One of the last real butcher places around! Meat is fresh and they will cut to size. The sizzle steaks are really tender and juicy off the grill. Pork chops are also very very good. Homemade Brats and sausages are awesome!! So glad we found this place as no supermarket can match their prices and the freshness. Service has been great! These guys are the only game in town for certain meats and cuts. I've had whole geese, and frozen duck from here....and been able to ask for specific, unusual cuts of beef. I do wish they'd get more up-to-date with their other offerings, which are pretty processed in the HFCS, refined oil kind of way.....very 1970s. Spices that have been sitting around since The Flood, that kind of thing. Honestly if these guys got a local foods marketing guru in there to overhaul their look and market offerings? they could double or tripe their business. read more

This small, family-run shop has the best meats I've ever bought - and at very inexpensive prices. Try the hamburger - you won't ever buy grocery store hamburger again, because you can taste the difference. The house-made salami and bologna (which is more charcuterie than bologna) is delicious! Off Sprinkle Road just west of the business loop.....Great location for amish chicken, local beef and pork, and local eggs fresh from the chicken's booty. Their prices are super-reasonable (about what you pay at meijer) for way higher quality than the grocery store. no hormones, injected juices, none of that. I have gone here & bought our meat for years. We get a side of beef every year & it is the better meat then you can get a any store. There prices are very reasonable also. I've been shopping at V&V for several years. My favorite is their Amish chicken. But, their steaks, chops, ground beef, and home made sausages are awesome. Haven't tried the bacon........yet! They also carry great cheeses and staples like milk and bread. I get a warm welcome when I visit there, even if it's been a while. Prices are reasonable and they even have cooking tips and recipes.
