This is a great clinic. The staff are all really nice and helpful and I felt genuinely cared about while getting treatment for migraines.

With yearly physicals (blood work, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, nutrition counseling, strength assessment) it's amazing! You can email your doctor or your nutritionist or whoever if you have questions. It really is the best care I have ever gotten. Wish they had better parking.

Yes, this is controversial for some…read more I support universal health care, but don't quite understand why it should come at a universal low standard. My dentist calls me every 4 months for a cleaning or checkup. When was the last time I had a blood test.?... 10 years! I know many have adequate medical care through established family practices via standard health care, but some don't. I did not. I think I knew something was not right and when I couldn't arrange a standard medical exam through my MD (after 1 year of trying and two misconnects) then I signed up for Copeman. After the intake questions and battery of exams and tests, it was found that essentially everything was off the charts. I was actually in pretty bad shape. Fortunately things were found early enough, I received some expert advice, and was able to get some lifestyle choices turned around before it was too late. The actual facility is centrally located, has easy off-street parking with nice (modern and clean!) offices and waiting room. There are nutritionists, physiotherapists, exercise kinesiologists, nurses, lab staff and counsellors available, but most importantly, physicians who actually take their hand off of the door handle when they talk to you. For lab tests, samples are all taken on site. This is the way health care should be. It is not luxurious, unless you compare it to the standard squalid waiting rooms at physicians' offices, usually located in dilapidated medical buildings with antique furnishings and equipment from the 60s. How we have come to accept the current state as acceptable is bewildering to me. While I feel a twinge of liberal guilt about the whole thing, this is a complicated issue with no easy answers. I was not willing to die waiting for politicians and government to figure it out. At $4K/ first year and $2.5K/year following (there are also family plans), it is certainly not for everyone. I am a supporter, and while this kind of service is not the answer to our current delivery problems, it just might be part of the solution.

After a very recent nerve ablation, which should last a whole year, I found myself considering the fact I'd miss the helpful, friendly staff I'd come to know and see so frequently. It is easy to park underground and get to the floor you need to go, and they do validate parking. The bathrooms are spacious, clean and easy to find. Everything goes according to schedule, with great efficiency. Never, ever had those long waits for delayed appointments - which seems to be the norm in any other doctor's office - who could learn a thing or two from this facility. Apparently, some people feel it needs a kid's centre - which may be the case on another floor. But on the 2nd floor, it is an aging clientele who are managing pain - and kid's having a free-for-all is the last thing we need... so it's all good on the 2nd floor! Keep up the good work, and don't change a thing. Thanks for the awesome team and medical care. (If your patients will miss needles in their spine... you're doing something right!) lol...

I asked for an appointment now , you have the requisition. No I must call back. I said you can call me back I just spent half my life waiting on the phone. No I must call back so I said you will never see me at EFW again I will go to CDC. She sent the req. back to my doctor. My small business will grow into a huge business, and so on. One day. I think I have many days to yelp yet, but the Hope never dies. Now... For those who has been following my reviews, here is the best part - there will be no ex bashing remarks in this one. Yep, I can do this too. Actually, this is going to be a very serious review. This particular location is remarkable because of it's vehicle modifications service, ran by a very remarkable person, Kevin. What we sometimes take for granted, means a world to some. For example, driving. Driving undoubtedly means freedom. What if this freedom is being taken away due to a physical disability as a result of an accident, injury, etc? What if the person is absolutely fit to drive on cognitive level, but their disability limits them from operating the vehicle safely? In this case, this is the best place to go to gain that freedom back! Widest variety of solutions to suit just about any case of moderate to severe limb damage! You should see how creative Kevin and his team are! Using only certified, approved and safety tested equipment, they put people back on the road and bring their freedom back! If you know someone who is looking to modify (or purchase a modified vehicle) their current vehicle, I'd suggest you share this information with them. There some funding programs available to help with the costs. How do I know about this business? I used to work for a company which purchased some safety equipment from them. Through working together, I saw the first hand how much passion Kevin puts into his work, how honest and client-oriented his business is. I still work with Kevin here and there, as my business is somewhat related to vehicle modifications. I feel it makes this review even more valuable, as I have seen him in action not just as his customer, but also as a fortunate enough person to share business with a great specialist he is. One last thing... Kevin is confined to a wheelchair himself. Enough said.
