I had my car towed with them twice (no choice, only towing available.) The first time, they loaded up my car and the two truck driver got into accident! He hit a car from behind. From what I understand, it wasn't at a high speed, but my problem is I would have never known about it unless I called to ask why my tow was so late. The tow, that time, was reasonable and I recorded everything in case I have problems with my car in the future, but honestly my car seems fine. The second time I was misquoted. And this time the tow truck driver wasn't as nice or professional. I get it, they have a tough job and it was super cold out that day. I just don't appreciate the price increase when he's already on site. All I'm saying is watch your back with these people.

Blough's has the small town feel that most automotive businesses are missing these days. And I mean…read moresmall-one client walked in (the owner and him were on a first name basis) to schedule an oil change and he was penned in on a big paper calendar at the front desk. I had a scary issue on a windy incline of the PA turnpike in the rain. Needless to say, when the tow truck finally came, I was a bit of a mess. They took me to Blough's who immediately showered love upon my pooch and let him run around and enjoy the reception area. There's lots of fun memorabilia on the walls and old gas pumps to check out (and sniff!). Where they really won me over was the kindness of everyone who worked there. I waited several hours while they attempted to replicate the problem on my camper van over and over - but of course, it was running just fine now! They finally felt comfortable letting me on my merry away and didn't charge me a dime for their time or diagnostics. I was happy to have broken down near such a friendly place.

Took time to take us in immediately and take a look at the car. Wasn't able to find the part needed until later that day, but we were able to get the information on the part that was needed. The driver, Gene, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He provided suggestions for nearby auto shops and hotels. He charged us a very reasonable rate for the tow, given the fact that he not only dropped our car off at a shop, but dropped us off at a hotel afterwards. Great service, this was a silver lining in an otherwise terrible situation.

Contacted via Facebook next day if I could bring in. It was Sunday they are not open. Gave me hours stop in this week. Called Tuesday after work told him problem again. He must not be contact on Facebook. He said I could not bring in he sold me used tires you get what you get. He would not stand by his work or faulty tires. He swore at me and hung up. I picked this shop simply to give a local Smst county shop business, and again it was listed for me to pick. Every time the shop was called, they would hang up and my tires were being delivered at any moment. Finally got in touch with the owner and he had a terrible attitude. He insisted he had no idea I had tires being delivered there, I shouldn't have had permission to do such a thing, and he was simply too busy to even consider doing this. He said he gets spam calls all the time and that's why he kept hanging up. (not the customer's issue they can't handle calls). I asked them why was he listed as a shop I could pick and partnered with....no answer(he had to of given someone permission somewhere to be able to do so). I asked if he was going to just receive my tires and keep them without contacting or accepting a contact...nothing but badgering from him. He then wanted to know how he was getting paid before anything was even scheduled or worked out, he wanted the number from the manufacturer to receive payment. I did not give him any information and cancelled my order. I would not give them business nor recommend this place based off this experience and the attitude and language that was received. He did not even want to listen to me as a customer he was very egotistical and rude.

We had some frustrations with his…read moreGPS sending him halfway across the city and I have crappy hearing so we had a hard time understanding each other over the phone. But when he did arrive, within two seconds of popping the hood of my car he saw that some wires had been chewed through by an animal. He quickly did a patch job to reconnect them and my car was drivable (at least for the time being). We were both tired and frustrated and yet he still went above and beyond and did what was best for me and my car.
