I took my 2022 ford transit van for a simple oil change and tire rotation. After I picked it up I noticed that the rear cargo door was damaged to the wrapping on the door it had two tears in it. Looks like they backed it into something. I took it back the following day and the service manager was out sick. Left my name and number and they said he would call when he was in. Never called. Took it back 6 days later and he said they could not have done the damage it must have happened in there parking lot. So beware taking your vehicle there for service because they do not standby there responsibilities! read more

I took my vehicle there to have the sunroof repaired. $150 and 4 hours later, they text me is done. Except all they did was confirm that the sunroof was broken. I would need another appointment to get it fixed. If they "knew it was broken they would have scheduled more time." I guess starting that the sunroof motor is not working and the sunroof is stuck open didn't explain enough that it is broken. Then I get the vehicle back and it smells like soneine was smoking in it. They get a one star because they at least changed the oil without screwing it up. Besides that, if it were possible for negative stars I would have done it. read more

Vacation savers! The folks at Bedford Ford Lincoln really helped us out when the alternator went up on our motor home. They were the only Ford dealership for miles that had the lift for heavy trucks. Fortunately, the lift wasn't needed. When I described what was happening over the phone, they told us to come on in and they would check the battery and alternator. Rusty was the service manager and Joe was the mechanic. They pulled us right into a bay (it was just after 3 pm), Joe diagnosed the problem, found and picked up a new alternator and had the job done less than 2 hours after we arrived. They even said we could bring our dogs into the waiting area since it was 89 degrees out. The folks who work here are friendly and professional. We spent the night at the campground right next door and were back on the road the next day. read more

I was looking to trade in my current vehicle towards a newer model. I did not get my vehicle inspected yet (was still current) because I had expected to trade in the vehicle before the end of the month, which is what I was doing. I dealt with Mark and the manager from the service center. I told them my vehicle in its current, good condition was worth $5500 by KBB standards. I went through the process, test drove the newer model, liked it, and started on the paperwork. They told me my car was in great shape, even commented on the tread on my tires. They said the service manager would have to drive it just to make sure everything was in good shape for the trade-in appraisal. After that was complete, Mark and I went into his office where he told me that I was right about my car being worth $5500 for trade-in except for the fact that they determined it needed to have "the rotors, wheel bearings, and brakes replaced." He said the car was only worth $4500 because of the parts and labor they would need to put into it just to sell it "wholesale." With this $1000 being taken off of the trade-in value, I certainly couldn't afford the payment for the newer model. Feeling like I was being deceived, I took my vehicle to a trusted, local garage (Blair County Area). I dropped my car off very late Thursday night, and they were able to get to it today, Monday 10/3. I picked it up, and we went over the bill for the respective inspection, emissions, parts and labor. $143.10. Yes, one hundred and forty three dollars and ten cents - $143.10. My car only needed a sway bar and links and two light bulbs I had already known were out. PA state inspections, PA state emissions, parts and labor came to $143.10. For those of you counting, that's an $856.90 difference and NOTHING (NOTHING!) was wrong with my brakes, wheel bearings, and/or rotors. I have the yellow carbon copy signed by the mechanic to prove it. Don't fall for the "our service department is harder on us" crap. All mechanics have a state license and don't want to lose it. All of them are held to high standards. The mechanic I went to said, "It sounds like they were trying to bamboozle you." I will never step foot near their dealership again because I don't do business with dishonest people. read more
