The organic nature this rink takes on, slight incline from the entrance to the natural obstacle course of bumps adds to the overall feel when enjoying the fresh air as you are doing laps and hit the unsuspecting speed bump to wake you up a bit. I found out they were going to split the swim into both leisure and lane but only give lane swimmers 3 lanes in the middle of the pool. hardly enough. I asked why this wasn't put in the alert section of the website (which I checked before leaving). just apologies, no reason given. Then they didn't allow anyone in at the dedicated start time. There was no communication by staff to the long line of heat exhausted swimmers waiting and not knowing what was going on. In the private sector, managers would be fired for this nonsense.

Then the Aquaquest classes that were each kid's rite of passage. At one point it became cool to bike here, hang out, and hit up the awesome yellow big kids' slide. Then you stopped coming as a teenager 'cause Wonderland and the beach were cooler. And then one day I came back for the Lane Swim to cure my saaaadd, academia-induced neck pain. I had become an adult. Not much has changed over the years. The giant "Richmond Hill" flag still hangs at the front of the pool. The ceiling here was likely exceptionally high and sunny for '90s standards, and is still impressive today. I *think* the "big kids' slide" is still the same one from childhood and it hasn't aged a day in 20 years. Change rooms are large and clean and let you avoid people. The staff are nice, it doesn't cost a fortune to come here, and their public lane swim hours are good (approx. 11am-1pm and 9-10pm on weekdays, 11-12:30 on weekends). The pool at 25m is standard for a community centre with a generous deep end, the warm pool is equally fun and spacious. My only complaint would be the narrowness of the small lane, and that the hairdryers in the women's washrooms are way too high for the 99% Asian demographic. Guess the town of R-Hill hadn't anticipated this turnout, lawls. 5 stars because this pool was already neat during its day and has kept up beautifully over the years. I've visited other R-Hill pools like the Centennial, where staff are rude a.f., or the Wave Pool, which is fun if you're under 12 and intolerable if you're over. I'll hit up a few more pools before finalizing the verdict, but for now Bayview Hill remains a first-rate spot to get your exercise in.

Because, even after witnessing the inconvenience that parents experience, nothing has been done to improve upon this major shortfall. This place has swimming pool on 1 side with slide . It is a smaller pool compare to standard pool size. It is always busy. Besides pool, it has tennis court outdoor, 2 squash court, a small area for stretch , all purpose room and gym room with equipment. The good part is it has jacuzzi and sauna and not all city community Center has this facility. It also has indoor skating rink. Outdoor also has a rink for skateboard. There is parking . Although it cannot be compare to be as nice as the newly built community Center, it has quite unique facilities. With city has new program for gym membership , the membership is apply to most of the community Center include this one. I pay around $90 for 3 months. Good deal

The community center was big and included many different sports, even the hockey game. There was a separate building for Tennis too. There were 2 big swimming pools. One for adults and one for kids. It has an upstairs balcony in the front for great aerial shots, a mini stage, and a small table on the side for signing official documents. Functional room - after the ceremony, we were led to another room for cocktail hour x open bar! The venue staff were serving us delicious h'orderves! I believe my friend picked the most popular 6 items on the list of appetizers and one of them was a Montreal smoked meat station!! #heaven #sogood Main Reception/Banquet Hall - Gorgeous room with lots of windows for natural light :) Fits perfectly if you have 200 guests or so. Although there are pillars but no obstructed view of the centre stage :) The view from the large L shape balcony was very beautiful. Large ceremony room, beautiful gold chairs, great lighting for photos, wonderful service and coordinator, and a great price made the decision really easy. The outside space is just as lovely but our guests stayed indoors as it was hot. We just took some photos outside and had we had the ceremony outside, they had a rain room just in case. The bridal suite was lovely and enough space for me and the girls to get ready. I highly recommend Lino and the team.
