I had hail damage this summer and could not have received worse service, from both Auto Owners and St. Charles Insurance Agency. First, I received only cash value, not replacement value for the damage. They claimed it was due to the age of the park model, however, nowhere on my policy does it say that I was only covered for cash value. Second, they did not include all of the damage in my claim. I had holes in the framing around our windows from hail and did not receive any money for it. I sent pictures to our field claim representative and he said they would have to do a reinspection and I would need to submit an estimate from a contractor. We could not afford to hire a contractor due to the small amount of money we received for the damage. I asked why those would be needed to include the damage in the claim and never received a response. I called St. Charles Insurance Agency to intervene on my behalf. They said they would call me back and never did. Needless to say that I cancelled my policy. Would not recommend.
