My girlfriend purchased a used 2014 Honda civic from Ed Dec of 2015, She was a first time buyer with good, but little credit, They gave her a very high interest rate, which is kinda expected, and told her to come back and refinance after 8 months or so. Well she went back after 12 months to ensure that her credit was stronger for a good refinance. Well when she went back, they told her that they couldn't do anything for her because she was upside down on her payments and that they could get her into a lease with $2k down and higher payments. She didn't want higher payments, just a lower interest rate on her current car. So we walked out and said no thanks. Well 4 months goes by and they are constantly hounding her with text messages and phone calls and she is too nice to say leave me alone. Well Ed promised a better deal and lured her there when I was not able to accompany her and pretty much offers her the exact same deal on an accord that he did before that we rejected,, mind you this is 4 months later,, that car is older now and near the end of the year and her credit has only gotten stronger. When she goes to leave, HE FOLLOWS HER INTO THE PARKING LOT AND STARTS SHOUTING AT HER, CALLING HER STUPID AND THEN SLAMS HER CAR DOOR. Customer and employees stopped to watch as he yelled at her in front of everyone. I have tried to reach a manager several times by phone and always get transferred to voicemail and haven't received a call back. If I wasn't away on business, Id be in there right now demanding some action against this POS. Trust me,, they will see this on all forms of social media and review sites. read more

I will NEVER take my vehicle in for services at Rick Case Honda again. Thanks to Metrosmart ride I was able to see how the technician's treated my car. I took in it for airbag recall and thought I'll get an oil change also. You think your car is in good hands but with Metrosmart ride it let me know otherwise. The technician's were driving my car more than the normal test drive and each time rapid acceleration and hard brakes in only 1 st gear. Potentially burning out my gears (5speed). It is an outrage that they handle customer vehicles this way and with no regard. 1 insedent It was recorded 8 rapid accelerations and 1 hard brake in 1st gear in a span of 3 minutes. I'm beyond outraged. Also, I had an oil change and 4 point inspection 3 months earlier at pepboys and my car was in pristine condition, when I got it back from Honda all of a sudden the tyrod leaking and boot bearing cracked. And now if something happens to my transmission because of the blatant neglect and disregard of their technician I am going to be the one to pay not them! For the last three days I've been trying to contact their collision center to take my car in for repair, and they simply won't return my calls. Have left 6-7 messages for Elvis, and 2 messages for Scott, who is the shop manager. They must be getting so much business that I guess they just can't take another client. Over the past 10 years, my wife and I have bought 5 cars from Rick Case. I would think they would value my business and try to take care of me when I need their help, not just when they want to sell me a car (when my lease is about to expire, they call me and my wife on a daily basis). We went there in 2017 looking for an 2017 Accord they told us that they had 2016 to sell only and to sell 2017 we need to show that we will buy today!! 1st and probably last time I'll go to Rick Case for service. Initial Service Tech was great but the pickup process was the worst, most disorganized, and unfriendly service I've ever experienced. This was my 1st experience picking up a vehicle for service their. Cashier could barely speak English making it extremely difficult to understand her. I paid and she just handed me my keys. I had to ask where my car was and she pointed to the door and said 'to right'. I go out the door and my car is no where to be found. I flagged down an employee outside for assistance and asked for help and his response was 'out here somewhere'. I explained I'd walked up and down the aisle multiple times and my car is not there. He responded just hit the alarm button. Seriously? Obviously I already tried that. Unhelpful and rude. Had to walk by inside to the cashier that doesn't speak English. I explained that my car is not out there. Once again just points and says 'out to right. I explain again that it's not there. She says press alarm. I explain that I did that already. She finally gets up and walks outside, look herself and realize IT'S NOT THERE. She then proceeds to march me around the building, through bushes searching for my vehicle trying to sound the alarm. Finally we found it on the other side of the building alarming. She points and hands me my key - no apology, no sorry, nothing. I've been to many dealerships for service and any place I've ever gone either pulls your vehicle around or shows you where they've placed it. This was so unprofessional and rude. I purchased a Honda Accord at Rick case and after having it for two weeks they called me back to renegotiate the loan at a higher rate due to the bank supposably denying the original loan.. I negotiated this loan with my brother in-law present because I don't speak English. In the original loan we declined all warranties over and over because the finance manager was set on selling all the warranties which added up to over $5,000.00 we explained that we did not needed the extended warranties because we trade the car in every year. My credit score is over 700 and the loan was approved at 3.99% interest and monthly payments were $423.00 for 72 months. The finance manager asked me to go on a weekday late at night without a translator to sign some documents and I wasn't aware of what I was signing. Now my new payment is $513.00 for 84 months at an interest rate of 8% and all the extended warranties which were not part of the original contract are added to this new contract. The new contract is with the same bank who approved the original contract and the finance manager said it was revoked. I don't understand and I feel cheated by the finance manager not explaining everything to me in my language and added everything he couldn't on the original contract. This dealership is so disingenuous!! Last week my daughter's car didn't start. After getting a "jump", I took it in to Rick Case only to be told that the battery was fine. This morning her car again wouldn't start. I instructed her to take it back to RC (all the way from Kendall) since the battery was still under warranty-so we thought. Upon arrival, she was told by the service manager that because the battery was replaced while the vehicle was under warranty, the warranty on the battery ran with the warranty on the vehicle-which has now expired! TERRIBLE to NON-EXISTENT service. I tried calling there yesterday and called 6+ times before I was actually able to speak with a helpful person (was only able to speak to 2 people in those 6+ calls). A service scheduler put me on hold for 5+ minutes while she tried to find someone to help me and she said they kept transferring HER around and wouldn't answer the phone, her only advice was to try calling back. I experienced the same, was hung up on, got NO answer in SERVICE, or PARTS, finally connected with Express Service (I was trying every available option in their automated menu to try and get someone, anyone on the phone) and asked to speak with a Service Manager only to be told that the Service Manager wasn't answering his phone. Finally got help from someone named Tony in Express Service, after spending nearly 40 minutes on the phone calling repeatedly and getting nowhere. Tony was nice, and helpful, but I will NEVER buy a car there or go there for service again! I suggest the General Manager get all his managers in a conference room and have one of them put their cell phone on speaker and try calling their own dealership and see if they can get a response. WORST customer service ever. I've experienced poor service there on a couple of occasions (once leaving my car in a dangerous condition) and won't be back. I was only calling to get confirmation of when I purchased a battery there 3 years ago so Holman Honda could pro-rate the battery since I was buying a replacement (yes, Honda battery went bad 37 months to the day after I bought it). I was in the customer service waiting area at Holman Honda and had the whole 40 minutes affair on speaker phone so everyone could hear how bad/non-existent the service is at Rick Case. I asked for the total he told me only one part of all of the service that was being done to my car. Neglected to tell me the total price. Took advantage because I am a woman and young. I got my car hit by an unaware driver and had to bring it to repair. I did not look forward to having my car in the shop and deal with a rental while in grad school and working. This was such an easy and welcoming experience! Beth took great care of me and helped me thourghout the process, definelty made my long week and a half seem short. She got me set up with a rental and made sure to keep me worry free throughout this whole process. On top of these amazing services from the staff, the day I went to pick up my car it was raining like crazy, usual hurricane season rain in Miami, and AJ offered himself and got my car without a hesitation! DON'T COME HERE! I went in today for a recall of a window switch on my crv known to be a fire hazard. Service agent Anderson took care of my appointment. He was polite and helpful. I took a video of everything working as it should moments prior to dropping off the car. It clearly showed the window going up and down flawlessly and quietly. When I pickup the car 4 hours later it now makes a strange noise like something banging against the glass whenever the window goes down. They refused to believe that I was telling the truth and tried to blame me and the age of the car for the noise. I then mentioned the video and showed it to them. Even with a time stamped video as proof they refused to take responsibility. Knowing they couldn't pin it on me any more they called the service manager Mark Warshefski. Mark, along with his staff again refused to assume responsibility and said that there was nothing they could do other than sell me a new window regulator and charge me for the labor to fix the issue. The issue that they caused! They spent more time trying to deny fault than it would have taken them to do the right thing and leave it the way they found it. Unbelievable! Horrible service. I brought my car in less than a month ago for an oil change. They also do the point inspection. Checked off that my battery was good. Last Sunday my car would not start. Battery was dead. A friend came over, opened the battery & it was bone dry. My friend filled the battery with water & jumped it. Later that day car was dead again. We left a message for RC service manager. Of course manager did not call back. I had to put in a new battery at Auto Zone. Also they didn't fill up my fluids with the oil change. Very sloppy service. They lost a customer, which I am sure they don't care about. This wasn't the first time I had issues with their service but this was the last straw. read more

To preface this review, my Fiancé and I are new grads, her from PT school and I from medical school, and as first time new car buyers, I spent about a month doing my research and learning the market for a new 2016 Civic EX-T sedan back in November 2016 for my fiancé. With how massive the dealership is and how heavily advertised they are, I figured going to Rick Case Honda would be a smart move, as a large volume dealership may be more flexible, but that was probably as far from reality as possible. When you walk into their dealership they try to butter you up with all sorts of sweet talking. I foolishly fell for all of it at first. After you go through the spectacle of showing up and everyone greeting you, going up into their garage and picking out the car you want, and taking the final test drive, I sat down with my salesman to go over the numbers, and we were about 3K apart from where I wanted to be. When I told him what number I'd be happy with, he laughed in my face, saying that there is no way I can get the model I was looking for at that price. Even more, when discussing financing options, they must have spent 20-30 minutes trying to convince me that 5-7% would be a great rate to finance the car at. I felt bullied and talked down to, and the salesman didn't bother talking to his manager about a better price on the car despite knowing where I stood. I had done my research and knew that my price was a fair price and was not unreasonable. We left that dealership empty handed, and that same day we went back to a smaller dealership in Ft. Lauderdale and within 1 hour had put our money down on a 2017 civic EX-T for the exact price I wanted. So we ended up with a 2017 Civic for over 3K less than what Rick Case Honda would offer for a 2016 Civic and we got a 1.74% interest rate. At the end of the day I look back on my experience with Rick Case and feel that the salesmen at the dealership saw a couple of young kids walk into their dealership and salivated at the idea of how badly they could rip us off. They take a very friendly and appealing approach in the beginning but once it gets down to money they become aggressive, misleading, and downright offensive. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, even if they offered the best price in town (which they don't). Side note, don't fall for their claim of doubling the manufacturer's powertrain warranty for free. They will try to make that a major selling point of their dealership, and will claim that it is a Honda manufacturer warranty. I called corporate Honda and asked about it and was told that it is not possible to extend the manufacturer warranty, so in reality this is a 3rd party warranty that has a deductible. read more

Met my daughter here today to help her out with the process of buying a new car. Was dreading the experience as buying a car has usually been a long and grueling process in the past... I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the experience however. The sales person, Luis Valens, was not pushy at all and when I kept insisting on a better deal he brought his very nice, funny and friendly sales manager in. Overall I have to say that it was a very pleasant experience and we left with the car my daughter wanted and the down payment she wanted to put down and the monthly payment she wanted make. I have purchased three cars already and am currently on a lease all with Rick Case. These past two years I have had issues with Rick Case, however I would like to share my most recent experience that I was blown away by. As soon as I drove into Honda service area for an oil change, I was right away greeted by James. He gave such a warm welcoming feeling and walked me inside to meet Ronald who will from now on be my service provider. Both James and Ronald were extremely professional and I really felt great and important. Ronald informed me on all suggested maintenance from Honda on my current vehicle, and sent my car to be serviced. As my car was being serviced James talked to me about getting into a new vehicle or possibly buying my current car. He was direct with and listed options based on exactly what I wanted. I am interested in buying my vehicle out of the current lease and James talked to me about all the great benefits with doing so, like becoming the original owner of the vehicle, better insurance rates, and many other perks. James was outstanding and very knowledgeable. After speaking with James I asked to speak with a service manager to speak with about my current maintenance plan included with my lease. I was upset that I had to for an oil change when I pay $15 extra in my lease payment already for maintenance. When I leased the car I agreed to pay this so I would not have to spend time calling around and finding a better deal. James walked me to Wade's office. Wade was a pleasure to meet, he listened to me, and then talked to me about my maintenance plan and how it works. Wade also thanked me for being such a valuable customer and waived the oil change this time. Thank you very much I feel that I can trust Rick case even after reading all the reviews online and my previous experiences. I am now happy to continue business with Rick Case a lot more after this experience with James, Ronald, and Wade. Thank you all very much. I would also like to mention Joseph who works by the parts department. I had trouble locating the parts department and Joseph explained exactly where it was and offered a place to park. Last month, my beau and I came here to look for a used vehicle. I was interested in either the sport or EX. We test drove the car and started negotiations. Unfortunately they were unable to meet our price so we left. No biggie. The sales associate then texted me with an alternative car, a year older, however I wasn't interested. When we got home, we pulled the car fax and learned that the vehicle I had looked at had been in an accident. This was not disclosed. But hey, it was my first time purchasing a car on my own so maybe they don't disclose that type of info. I've had my Honda Accord for 21 years so I'm a loyal owner. A few days later I received a call asking about my experience and why I did not purchase and I explained my price out the door was unable to be met. She then asked if I saw a manager and I did not. She seemed shocked. She then asked if I knew about the 10 year warranty and I explained that I was told of a 7yr warranty. Again, shocked. She then stated that she would send me $300 voucher via email to use at Rick Case. A month later and I have still not received that voucher. Fast forward to today. I used to like Rick Case and have had my vehicle serviced her before so I started my journey again since I stopped looking for a car and took holiday. However, this time I have pre-approval from my credit union and I've done some online shopping with TruCar that listed a vehicle at a particular price at Rick Case. We appeared on site and was greeted. I asked to see the exact car on TruCar. We found it but the pricing was $5K more. The associate went in to check with someone if they could honor the TruCar price. While he was gone our original salesperson from last month approached us. I didn't see him earlier unless I would have described him (can't remember his name). He welcomed us back and asked if we liked anything besides the car I asked about today. I looked around and didn't see anything and never heard back about the TruCar inquiry from the other associate. We left. Terrible service. read more

Never do business here. These guys are crooks. Earlier this summer, I went to buy a used Kia from here for my son. It was listed for $14,000. There was rust on the engine. But my son insisted so I had it checked out by a mechanic. Next day when we went to buy the car, the rust mysteriously disappeared. At first, salesman couldn't find the car. Then he comes back with a sticker price of $16,000. When we insisted that price was less, he went in the back and came back saying that he made a mistake, the actual price is $15,000 and it is firm. We left unhappy. When we got home, dealership took the car off their listing. Two days later when we checked again, the car was listed for sale again. CROOKS!!! read more

RICK CASE HONDA, I75 & GRIFFIN So far the worst dealership experience: We arrived to the dealer with a detailed price-model study based on KBB, Edmunds, Cars.com, Rick Case website and some other Honda dealers. To sum up, the salesperson called Socco(or very similar), a lady around 50-60 years old was there to make real this "POSiTIVE" experience, after 2:30 hours of been there doing nothing and waiting for the a collapsed system to recover... She tried to sell us an used Honda CR-V 2016, with 12 000 miles for $22 900. The same car a different salesperson told us like 45 minutes before, ok that car is valued around $17 000 to $180000. Imagine a used car, starting at $22900 plus taxes, dealer fee, title etc. This is not our first experience buying a car, we know perfectly %, length of loan, fair price, etc. We left your place, and in less than 4 hours we bought our Honda CR-V at Autonation Hollywood. We wouldn't recommend your place to anyone, you laughed on our faces. Please, this is not a way to handle a business. read more

My appointment was at 7:45am for an oil change. I was immediately checked in and proceeded to the waiting area where I remained for over an hour. What soured by visit was the waiting area. There is a cafe with a very noisy espresso machine and extremely loud employees who gather at the cafe before they start their day. The conversation grew louder to compensate for the machine noise. This went on for approximately a half hour. It quieted down for a bit then several of the employees would yell across the floor to other employees. As a car owner who has been in several service areas this by far was the worst. The repair service was ok. There is no reason I should have to wait over an hour for a simple oil change when I had an appointment and then to be subjected to the noisy waiting area added to the frustration. Think I will check out the service area in Coconut Creek. From what I hear it's worth the ride. read more

I had the worst experience here EVER! I came over considering to upgrade my 2012 Honda Fit lease to a 2015 Honda Fit or possibly purchasing the one I had! Of course at first everything is talk, pretending to be friendly and making jokes, but soon things changed when I was being pushed around by the salesman to hurry to make a decision! He even said, word for word, "C'mon make up your mind, it isn't like you are buying a Ferrari!" ... Mmmm excuse me!?! By that point I was already crying and upset I couldn't walk out with the car that I wanted I just kept walking! I later called the sales guy and told him how upset I was not for the sale really but for getting insulted to what he responded, "It wasn't to you, it was to someone else"... Mmm ... WOWWWWW so even if I wasn't the one called "f*****g idiot" it is "OK" to call another customer that?!! Great! Good to know that that's what they think of their customers!! Happily for me, I got a call from both Brickell Honda and Aventura Honda where the people were super nice and helpful and overall incredible! I went in to inquire about a lease payoff and options for either taking on another lease or returning the car in favor a different make. Soco Issa was excruciatingly slow in obtaining the info for us, and on top of that dishonest about what she was actually doing. She explained that she wasn't running my credit even though she obligated me to fill out and sign a credit application form. Then once she finally printed out the figures that I had to begrudgingly provide my information to obtain, she and her "boss" would not let me leave the dealership with the papers, claiming they are internal documents.
