It was throwing a headlight issue problem on my dashboard but nothing wrong with my headlight. Rep told me they had moved their collision center to a new space just after the gate entrance to Rick Case. It was such a headache to get into. No clear signs and people blocking the entry which is next to the Honda motorcycle store. Absolutely terrible to get into. Who thought this was a good idea? This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. My wife brought her vehicle in because of a tire issue. The tire was purchased through Honda and was covered under a valid warranty. The staff reviewed the warranty paperwork and confirmed that it was valid, yet they still refused to replace the tire. Instead, they told her she would have to purchase a new one. If a valid warranty isn't honored, what's the point of having one? The lack of customer service and accountability was extremely disappointing. Based on our experience, I would not recommend buying a vehicle or servicing your car at this dealership. They told me I needed it replaced, and wanted to charge 355$ for one hour of labor which is crazy. So I told them I'd just buy the part and take it somewhere else to be installed. I told them to leave the bad one off. But of course instead of listening they replaced the damaged splash guard and put it back even worse than how I gave them the car. Review is for the Collision Dept: There's a young "man" who works in the collision department who is the rudest, impolite, non-chivalrous, most anti-social "man" I've ever interacted with. I would love to mention his name but of course he did not introduce himself to me. He was asked by someone else to take me to the 2nd floor to my car to gather all my belongings because my car was declared a total loss. He didn't say one word and started walking away. I guess I was supposed to follow him to the elevator so I did. I guessed correctly. He walked into the elevator and I followed. We got off on the 2nd floor. He knew where my car was parked. He walked ahead of me and I followed. As we were walking, I saw my car. He kept walking past my car. I said to him that I see my car. He kept walking. Another employee gestured to him that I was talking to him. He turned around. I pointed to my car. He walked over and unlocked it. Not one word. I proceeded to gather all my belongings. He stood there staring at his phone. Once I was done, I semi-apologized for taking long gathering 11 years worth of stuff. I wanted to make sure I checked every nook and cranny so I took my time checking. He didn't say a word. We walked back to the elevator. Of course he walked ahead of me. I was carrying a big bag, another smaller bag and my purse. You would think a real man would extend his arm to hold the elevator door for me, or, ask if I needed help with the bags, but no, not one word. But ok. Surely, he would let me walk into the elevator first with the bags I was carrying. Of course not. He walked into the elevator first. Didn't even bother to check if the doors were closing in on me. Back on the first floor, you guessed it, he walked out first and started walking away. Didn't say anything to me. I didn't know what I was supposed to do next. Sign a form? Follow him? Go home? Before he got farther away I asked if that's it? He said "yes you're done" and kept walking away. It's not every day that my car gets totaled. In fact, this was my first time ever. I wasn't aware what the process was supped to be. It would have been nice if he showed an iota of compassion. But he didn't. He's not a man. What a shame that Rick Case hired this incredibly rude human. I'm sure the cameras captured the lack of interactions and his non gentleman ways. I'm glad I don't have to go there ever again!! I am extremely frustrated with this dealership and feel forced to leave this review after weeks of getting no help. I purchased my vehicle on December 11 and to this day: 1. I have not received my permanent metal license plate, even though enough time has passed and this is the dealer's responsibility. 2. I have been unable to make my car payments because the dealership never sent my contract to the bank. I do not have an active account or payment profile, despite calling multiple times trying to resolve this. 3. Every time I call, I am told I will be transferred to a manager, but the calls go directly to voicemail or get disconnected, and no one ever calls me back. To make matters worse, my salesperson Julio was extremely rude and told me that his job was only to sell me the car and that everything else was not his problem. That response is completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, my most recent experience with the service department completely changed my view of this dealership. I will not be returning. In October 2025, I brought in my 2018 Honda Accord for an engine issue. The service department initially suggested it may have been caused by a recent tune up from another mechanic. When I asked them to speak directly with that mechanic, the explanation changed. Further research showed the issue was the widely documented 1.5T head gasket defect affecting many of these vehicles. Rick Case first quoted over $8,000 to repair it. After mentioning they would check with Honda regarding goodwill, the estimate dropped to about $4,000, but there was still no clear plan or meaningful assistance despite this being a known issue. The biggest issue was communication and professionalism. My assigned service advisor, Waldo, was dismissive and at times rude. Calls were not returned. Messages went unanswered. Even after escalating the matter to him as a higher-level service contact, there was still no timely response. I went to the dealership in person multiple times and was left without a vehicle for days. We were unable to secure a loaner vehicle during this process, which made the situation even more difficult. Ultimately, we had no choice but to move forward with another Honda dealership because we could not get clear answers or support from Rick Case. When we purchased a new vehicle elsewhere and arranged to tow our old car to Delray Honda, Rick Case again failed to respond while we were trying to coordinate the transfer. When the tow truck arrived, they refused to release the vehicle until we paid the $294.25 diagnostic fee. After everything that had occurred, we had no choice but to pay in order to retrieve it. The contrast between dealerships was striking. The other Honda dealer communicated clearly, worked directly with Honda corporate, and handled the situation professionally and efficiently. This experience was not about the $294 diagnostic fee. It was about poor communication, inconsistent information, lack of professionalism, and the unwillingness to work constructively with a long-time loyal customer on a known manufacturer defect. My experience at Rick Case Honda has been one of the most stressful, misleading, and unethical car-buying experiences I have ever had. My mother and I were repeatedly told by both the salesperson and the finance manager that we were fully approved. They congratulated us, shook our hands, took a picture of us with a bow on the car, issued the vehicle registration, and even helped me download the app for vehicle tracking. They insisted everything was finalized and told us to take the car home. Only later did we learn that they already had the bank's decline before we left the dealership -- and they chose not to disclose it. Two days later, the salesperson finally called to say the bank had declined the deal and suddenly demanded an extra $1,000. Then he claimed a "new program" supposedly started that same day and pressured us to pay the $1,000 to "get approved" and lower our monthly payment. This is a textbook example of a yo-yo financing scam. On top of that, they rushed us through the paperwork and told us we were signing a lease agreement. At no point did anyone explain that this was a spot delivery pending approval. I even asked several times: "If we are not approved, please tell us -- we do not want to take the car unless it's fully approved." They insisted over and over that we were approved. They also required us to purchase full insurance immediately, costing us $240. When everything fell apart, I called the insurance company to cancel, and they informed me that I had signed a one-year contract. Canceling it would mean paying the entire remaining balance. This was money we never should have spent -- especially since the dealership knew the bank had already declined the deal when they pushed us to insure the car. To make things worse, Rick Case Honda then sent us emails threatening repossession, even though they were the ones who misled us, withheld the bank's decline, rushed us through paperwork, and insisted we take the vehicle home. And if all of this wasn't enough, a third-party broker named Leonel (who referred us to Rick Case Honda) later contacted me with humiliating messages about my credit and my mother's credit -- information he could only have received if someone at the dealership shared our private financial details without our consent. That is a serious violation of privacy and professionalism. This entire situation caused us financial loss, stress, humiliation, and emotional distress. Rick Case Honda's actions were misleading, unethical, and completely irresponsible. I strongly warn anyone considering buying a vehicle here: be very careful, read everything, and do not trust verbal assurances. What happened to us should not happen to anyone. I ask her why am I paying 110 for an Oil change? And she starts giving me an attitude and I wait outside to talk to my mechanic and they told me they're overcharging me. First oil change I got at this dealer was free. All of a sudden jumping to 110$ for an oil change that anybody, even a sub 80 IQ individual could do. I go to alicia to see if she can check how much I payed for an oil change and to get something a little less than that. Shes on the computer for 7 minutes not even searching up my vehicle history; reading some random paper? Then she gives me an attitude when telling me apparently the prices jumped from 69.99 to 89.99? I confront the Alicia girl and a guy named JOSHUA MARTINEZ and they start getting defensive and start giving me attitude while I waited around 5 minutes for the Alicia girl who wasn't even pulling up my report, doing something else. Absolutely awful customer service. Alicia and Joshua Martinez need to be disciplined and trained on fundamental customer service. Sales advisors sell 3rd party company protection for damaged keys, rim repair or dents and make it almost impossible to use. Sales advisors sell this 3rd party company insurance and no one knows how to actually use it. You call 3rd party and they tell you Rick case has to do this and that so they can start your claim and then Rick case collision says no they have to do this.
