This is a public service announcement regarding Rick Case Deceptive sales practices and outright Lies to get you in the door. To make a long story short my wife opened up an online account at express.rickcasehonda.com. Once my wife selected the car she wanted with the options it gave us a detailed breakdown of total cost that you can see below. The website indicated that the car was sitting at Rick Case in Weston and was ready to be viewed. My wife and I went over there to look at the car and the salesman said it was not there but would be in a week or two. He proceeded to show us different Honda pilot models including the touring model we had originally asked about but not the car we came in to see. Once he met with the sales manager and came out with the price for the exact same car with the exact same options was approximately $6,000 higher. When we asked him if we waited for the car we originally came in to see what the cost would be for that out the door. Again he gave us a price that exceeded $6,000 over the agreed upon purchase price on the website. He started to try to explain but I knew exactly where this was going, smoke and mirrors BS. The bottom line is Rick Case Honda does not and will not honor the total purchase price on their Express website. We left Rick Case and I decided to come home and fill out my own account under a different name on the express Rick Case Honda website and got the same numbers my wife did. I had a different salesman contact me and they told me yes now the car is here on the lot and even offered to FaceTime me. At that point I had told him we were just there and the car supposedly was not. I asked him what is the best price you can give me for that car? Once again we got a slightly lower price than the first salesman we talked to but still exceeded $6,000 over the agreed upon price online. I am telling you do not waste your time going to Rick Case if you're going to be relying on them to give you an honest out the door number online. I would also like you to know there were no additional add-ons or any modifications made whatsoever to the online order therefore there would be no reason for a $6,000 increase. Our credit score is 820 and we were even going to pay cash but no movement on price. I would say service here is better than most dealers, however realize there are some serious catches. First, Rick Case charges a $600 dealer fee, which is one of the highest around. A dealer fee is simply a "Junk Fee" charged to insure the dealer has a built-in profit for the deal, and fortunately some dealers have eliminated this dirty practice--some states have even banned dealer fees. So you're paying for all those fancy hats that Rita Case is wearing in the many photos they flood you with at Rick Case. In turn for the $600 dealer fee you get bogus frills, like "discounted" gas, but actually I called up and found out that the "discounted" gas was $3.79/ gallon of gas meanwhile it is $3.80 at a local gas station--so you save a whopping penny per gallon. Other things include Rick and Rita Case's book "Our customer, our friend" to read and a $5 key ring. To tell you the truth I would rather have my $600 back and they could keep all the bogus gifts. Also, when you buy anything from Rick Case you are going to have to deal with the "Rick Case Marketing Machine." That's right everytime you callup Rick Case, for anything you have to sit through Rick pitching you to buy one of his services or hear why Rick Case is so much better than everyone else. I bet this guy is even pitching people in his sleep. To be honest with you they are slightly above average compared to other dealers, but if you would listen to all their marketing and Rick Case's pitching you would think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. $600 for a dealer fee is a tough whack, but you will get slightly better service--so just know what you're getting into! read more

Last year I got myself a gorgeous 2011 Honda Accord EXL, white with tan leather interior, from Rick Case Honda . Did I mention she's a Beauty, and runs super smooth! Now, before I went to Rick Case I went to Gus Machado Ford to buy a 2011 Ford Focus. Let me just say this (I Thank God I walked out). It was Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! They Suck! They were so pushy, they even offered me a car I told them I hated. The Nerve. So a good friend told me to take a trip to Rick Case and ask for her Service Advisor Jeremiah Castro, and see if he could help me, so I did. All I could say is WOW. He and his team were the difference. From the initial greeting, to viewing the vehicle with the salesman Jeremiah recommended, to the purchase, I received extraordinary service. I have never ever felt so comfortable in a dealership. Now we all know those words don't go together, but they actually do, especially when you have extremely reputable, kind, caring professionals, who always put the customer first. Since the purchase I've serviced my car for regular maintenance, and even that's a pleasant experience. My Service Advisor Jeremiah, (I love him) takes the time to explain the services needed for both short and the long term. They always stick to the time schedule, and return her nice and clean. I recently experienced an issue with my sunroof that required immediate attention. Although my service appointment was not scheduled until the following Tuesday, I stopped by the dealership on Sunday and explained the situation in the Express Service lane. Service Manager Anderson Asprilla went above and beyond to accommodate me. Despite the busy schedule and the fact that I did not have an appointment that day, he listened to my concerns, accepted the vehicle for service, and assured me that he would personally keep me updated throughout the process. What impressed me most was the level of communication and customer service. Monday was a holiday, yet Anderson and his team still managed to diagnose and complete the repair in a remarkably short timeframe. By 10:00 AM on Tuesday morning, Anderson personally called to let me know that my vehicle was repaired and ready for pickup. In today's environment, exceptional customer service can be hard to find, but Anderson demonstrated exactly what great service should look like--professional, responsive, accommodating, and committed to taking care of the customer. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free, and I truly appreciated the sense of urgency with which my issue was handled. Don't waste your time! Their customer service is awful! I was ready to buy a pre owned honda but didn't have time that day. They did nothing on the price, their financing was a joke, about 5 points higher than the standard. One of the vehicles didn't have a price on it, so the sales man said he would get back to me via email right away and never did, he never even followed up with me after we left. The internet manager, attempted to reach out to me with kind emails and asking how things went but when I told him I was still waiting on a price, he also said he would get right back to me and never did! Weeks later I received another email from some sort of a manager asking me about my experience, I told him and he also ignored me! Go somewhere where you will be treated like a real customer. And they act like they are the only ones who offer the 100,000 mile power train warranty! That is a joke too! Many Honda dealers offer the same warranty and will treat you with more respect. Plus they have much higher prices due to the warranty, when you can buy that same warranty for much cheaper. Or they will try to say they are higher priced b/c you get cheaper gas and free car washes for life. Also a joke! The gas station down the street is cheaper! Worst car buying experience ever! Inquired online (I live 250 miles away from them) and over a few days dealt with Gus, Justin, Chad, and Christian. Never sure who my salesman was or who to negotiate with. Also, despite their ads and phone recordings claiming the sale could be completed online and car would be delivered to me, they refused to do that and forced me to drive 4 hours to buy/pick up the car. Christian was ultimately my salesman and, I asked him specifically to check the car out carefully BEFORE I agreed to the purchase. Asked him to look for any nicks, chips, scrapes, dings in the paint job and he assured me in writing (texting) there were none. (Car is only 2 years old with 10,600 miles on it.) Got the car home and first noticed the front tires were very worn (seems impossible in 10,600 miles!!) and then noticed the left rear bumper has been hit, scraped, and sort of touched up. Took photos of rear and tires, sent them to Gus, Chad, Christian, and deal closer Andrii and asked for help. How can we work something out? From Tuesday through Saturday, got some questions, but basically NO MEANINGFUL RESPONSE. So, I may be stuck paying for getting the body work done (local Genesis body shop estimate is $2300) and buying two new front tires (local Genesis dealer price is $958). I AM NOT HAPPY! read more

There have been a humming noise in my car for several months which was never could have been heard whenever the car was there for service before. Feb. 28 2012, I brought the car for service, Mr. Enrique Paradres noticed that humming noise. He told me that my car needed more than his expertise, and drove my car to Mr. Bunyi's department. Enrique Paradres, and Ronald Bunyi, these two, together diagnosed the problems in my car. Moreover, I did not know if I was still under an extended warranty, Mr. Ronald Bunyi took his prescious time to do a little research, and found that I was still covered, which lessen my anxiety levels because I was beginning to worried of the price I would be paying. Mr. Bunyi put me on a rental to go home. I could not have asked for any better. I thank them for their loyalty, kindness, and professionalisms. They both took the time to explain what was going on with my car, and Mr. Bunyi went beyond to explain using graphic images showing me what was wrong and waht was done. I bought my car at this dealership, and the car always been serviced there. There is not a time that I had to complaint, I am always satisfied with everyone who helped, mostly with Mr. Enrique Paradres with his courtesy, kindness and well mannered. CROOKED CROOKED COOKED!! DO NOT BUY FROM RICK CASE, GRIFFIN ROAD DAVIE, FL!! Rick Case Honda is the definition of CROOKED!!! ED BUNICH added $5000-$8000 above true face value and lied by decreasing the true mileage by at least 9000 miles!! As an inexperienced car buyer, I can accept responsibility for walking into a car dealership prior to doing thorough research. But I cannot accept a company that is deceptive and uses unlawful practices such as RICK CASE, hence why RICK CASE is the definition of CROOKED!!! And when Honda Finance will not process/approve the crooked deal, they try and PRESSURE me into resigning a new contract. I regret not reading the reviews before returning to this dealership. Out of three visits, two have been absolutely unacceptable. Just as other reviewers have described, this location engages in bait-and-switch tactics. They allow you to leave the lot thinking your deal is finalized, only to call days later demanding $1,000 deposits and significantly higher monthly payments. This is not an isolated incident--it appears to be a systematic practice. Sales representatives Jose or Joey and Andre, finance representative Dayan, and even the general manager Paul Brown all participated or allowed these tactics. When I raised concerns, there was no resolution, no accountability, and no indication that management cares. In my opinion, this dealership is deliberately misleading customers, preying on them after the fact, and training staff to do the same. This is predatory, unethical, and potentially illegal. I own 2 honda Odysseys. Went to service and Rick Case service dept. came up with whole list of items, one of which was front rotors glazed and worn. They were just replaced with NEW rotors and pads 673 miles ago/2 months. That was a flag. Another item was fuel pump leaking in fuel tank. I authorized replacement since this is safety item and wife/kids car. What they did was try to mark up the fuel pump 47% from Honda offered internet price at Hondapartsnow.com. The Rick Case price was OVER honda's full retail price. After speaking with parts manager Robert Button he advised me that I would be better getting the part from Honda but that Rick Case would not warranty the Honda new part. He could not come close to the price offered. How can this be? They are a Honda dealer?? I paid the high price and left never to return. Now I'm wondering about my services there for the last 4 years on bolth cars. What a rip off......buyer beware...... read more

Worst experience ever. After I have been discussing a price on emails and promised and confirmed by Barbara Mullings that they will give me a better price than what I showed them I had, Alan Moceo just told me she was not authorized to offer any price, they just lied on my face even when I told them that I would only drive for 3 hours to them if they guarantee the price. they even gave me the worst price even when I had more than 820 credit score. They are cold liars. They won't honor their their offers. I thanks God I didn't buy from them because now I know all the things they offer are pure lies. Barbara Mullings never showed her face and Alan Moceo just playing good police trick with his false smiling. It's a shame they have to make a living lying. Extremely Disappointed with Customer Service My wife and I have now visited Rick Case Kia in Sunrise three separate times, and each visit has been frustrating and disappointing. Every time, there has been an issue locating vehicles that were supposedly in stock. On our most recent visit, we even called ahead and provided specific stock numbers, asking them to have two vehicles ready for us to test drive. When we arrived, not only were the vehicles not ready -- they hadn't even received or acted on the message. The overall customer service has been very poor, and frankly, we got the impression that the staff simply didn't care about our time or our business. It's been a complete contrast to the experience we had at Kia of Coral Springs, where things were handled professionally and efficiently. But based on what we've seen so far, we'll be taking our business elsewhere. read more

I recently had a less than satisfactory experience at the Honda dealership service center and feel it's important to share. I went in with a car issue, which they diagnosed as needing a complete engine harness replacement, quoting me a hefty $2,150. Feeling uneasy about this, I sought a second opinion from a local garage, which revealed that the issue was much less severe and could be fixed with a minor repair costing $650. This discrepancy in diagnosis and the unnecessary expense recommended by the Honda service center was both concerning and disappointing. While I understand diagnosing car problems can be complex, the significant difference in the assessment and the potential for unnecessary spending was alarming. I started my Honda Accord purchase at Rick Case Honda. However, I walked away from the deal when they tried charging me $10 a month more claiming that it was because of the mud guards and trunk liner that the car had. We kept on going back and forth for hours until my girlfriend contacted AutoNation Honda Miami Lakes. I can't say enough good things about Manuel Lima and the rest of the team. They were honest and upfront about their pricing. They gave us the color I wanted for the price that Rick Case Honda refused to honor. Do yourself a favor and don't waste time with this dealer. Rick Case Honda's reply to my negative review comment is that I didn't take my car to them first but went somewhere else to replace the cable, which I didn't. The battery cable fell apart, so I just had to put in a battery end clip to drive it to Rick Case or else the car was not drivable. This tells me that they didn't even bother to check the part that need to be replaced; it was the original cable from Honda that came with the car with an nickel end clip. They will lie about anything not to fix your vehicle and honor your Pre-Owned Certification warranty. RICK CASE HONDA is a FRAUDULENT DEALERSHIP, has LYING salesmen and techs, and does SLOPPY work. I have an 11 year old Honda that was struggling. I went to the Express Service and was greeted by Karen. She's awesome! She took my baby back to the amazing mechanics, and came back with the list of things that was wrong. I broke it up into several visits, and still have one more to go. But my car is up and running, and feels great! Her boss Wade is also really nice and made sure that not just me, but all customers that I saw him interact with, left happy. I'm sure I could have gone somewhere cheaper, but at Rick Case I get great service, real Honda parts and my car is running smoother than it has in awhile. read more

experience started out great...was given my monthly payments...took car home and brought in both trade-ins, when given papers to sign it was $50 more a month...was told that was for the warranty....i didn't want it...final price was $15 over my given price...they said oh, only $15...then you take a $15 per month hit over 6 years...I told them i was returning car at 10A.M., when i showed up no one i spoke to was there....then i found same car, 2 years newer and half the mileage for the same price at carmax and carvana....don't like being decieved even for $15 read more
