I took my car in for inspection they said I needed tires I agreed and asked for the next to most expensive tires and they put on the most expensive tires, and I got charged for them. Next there was a check engine light on and asked if they could find the problem. After charging me $160.00 for a 10-minute plug in diagnostics check when I went to pick up the vehicle they told me that they needed another hour of diagnostics (at $160.00 more) to find the problem. I told them NO. They should have never charged me for the diagnostic because of no results. Do they think that we are all that stupid? I am totally done taking my GM vehicle to Rick Weaver Buick. I should add that the GM vehicle is sub-standard missing what should have been included engineering wise for the price paid. Last time I will ever purchase a GM Product. read more

Don't waste your time on service here. Usually pretty good, they can be slow but this takes the cake. Waiting for a necessary fluid to come in for our vehicle, they could've had four tires installed they said was necessary. But no, let's leave our highly needed vehicle sit there for a day and a half and do nothing. So we have to come get it, bring it back in two or three days to have all the work done. The fluid procedure would've taken a lot less time. Now the 2nd visit is going to take more of our time we can't get back! You at least owe us a rental for the weekend for the wasted time! read more

I'm an auto broker in Denver, CO, and I found a truck online from their inventory that fit my client's needs. I contacted Jason, and he went out and inspected the car personally, then sent more photos than was posted online to make sure I was giving my client an accurate description, and that any and all flaws were fully disclosed. I flew out my transportation guy to drive it back to CO, and they were kind enough to pick him up from the airport, offer him water when he got back to the dealership, and even gave him points of interest to check out on his drive back. You can tell a lot about a business by how they treat their customers, but even more by how they treat their peers, -especially ones that are far away and might not ever cross their path again. Unless you're held at gunpoint, do not take your vehicle to these guys to get it repaired. I needed a simple brake job on my Pontiac and it took these guys a whopping 2 days to get it done, despite telling me it would be a matter of hours. They were incredibly discourteous on the phone when I called to ask about the progress of my repairs and told me twice that my car would be ready by a certain time, only for me to call then and be told "oh well it will be a bit longer". I know that nobody likes car dealerships but my run-in with Rick Weaver Pontiac was especially painful. Please please please find somewhere else in Erie to service your vehicle. I brought my Buick Enclave in due to intermitant shuttering while driving locally. This did not occur on highway driving which is what I primarily do. I was assured the problem was the torque converter and as I had 97,000 miles on my car it was covered under the power train warranty. After replacing the torque converter my car continued to intermittently shutter. We took it back to the dealership and were now told it is the valve body that's causing the problem and that now that the cat is over 100,000 it is not covered under the warranty. This will now cost roughly $1000.00 to fix. We have dealt with Angelo Lombardi and have been told there is nothing they can do. They "waive" their $175 diagnostic fee only, which in my opinion we wouldn't have had had they fixed the problem the 1st time. We have left several messages asking for the number of the district manager and have not received calls back. Had they fixed the problem when we brought the car in it would have been covered under the warranty. I am not even sure there was anything wrong with the torque converter they replaced as the exact problem is continuing. I feel they do not stand by their work at Rick Weaver and are not concerned with customer satisfaction. I will be contacting a lawyer if this situation did not get resolved and i will make sure never to recommend Rivk Weaver for service in the future. read more

We were to rent a 15 passenger van and were quoted a price of $35.00, no mileage charges. After 10 days, and 3 days before the rental ensued, we received a phone call that the salesman "was new to this rental thing" and he charged us the wrong price. The actual price was $129 a day but "they will give us $10 off for the mistake" and that was supposed to be the deal. WE HAD A WRITTEN CONTRACT FOR THE $35 PRICE BUT THEY REFUSED TO HONOR IT. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM, THEY WILL CHANGE THEIR STORY, CHANGE THE PRICE, ETC. Since no money was to be exchanged until we returned the van, all we have is the contract that they wrote up, which is now worth NOTHING. read more

We talked on the phone with someone to pretty much bring our car in to have it checked out because the ABS and Traction control lights were on, and the driver door gets stuck shut. They call to say they can't fix it because the parts they need are no longer available since our car is so old. No problem, we come to grab the key. Turns out they charged us over 200 dollars just to check it out. I was confused but about to grab my card and the receptionist grabs someone because "it doesn't hurt to ask". (Well, apparently it does.) They never specified it would cost anything to check it out. We assumed like any garage they would call back and give us an estimate to fix it. We ended up having to pay the bill for nothing fixed and one of the windows is stuck open and it is raining I'm assuming they realized they couldn't close it so they left it open. (Every garage I've ever taken it to has done this same thing). The staff is super friendly and patient But the, who I am assuming is the manager or supervisor, a bald man, was incredibly, unbelievably disrespectful. I am a very soft spoken, patient girl who was just wondering about the price and such, he comes in telling me "My men don't work for free. Why would you come in and waste my guys time." Then we go out to where other employees are and he kept saying that I was saying "I shouldn't have to pay this" And I said I never said that! Like what...? I couldn't believe what I was happening. I had no problem paying but that conversation with him was very inconvenient. I am in no way shape or form that kind of customer who makes a drama out of anything so to be talked to like that was breathtaking in the most ridiculous way. But as I said, the rest of the staff (the young people) are so kind. Won't ever be going back. read more

I purchased my car at rw and was satisfied with that but a year later began having transmission issues the service dept kept my car 8 hrs before I had to call them!! They hadn't found any issue but could drop filter and check fluid....are u kidding me!! Had to return when my car was vandalized they quoted$750 to replace window so I called insurance and it dropped to $350 real quick hhmmm? So after insurance estimated on repairs it has taken 7 days to replace window and buff out a dent!!!! Rw is great to purchase vehicle from but never take yur car there for repair!! On 12/9/14 My mother and I took her 2008 Buick Lucerne to Rick Weaver Buick for a routine oil change and state inspection. The light for tire inflation would not go out even though the tires were properly inflated. We were told the car would be ready at noon. They called and said it needed front brakes. I highly doubt the car needed brakes but I took their word for it. They said the car would be ready at 3:00. We went to pick it up at 3:30. Two different service advisors told conflicting stories. We waited to almost 5 o'clock. The car would not start! They were unable to start it. They told us they would deliver the car in the AM. We called and they said we would have it by noon. It is 1:30 and still no car. We finally got it back at almost 4:00 PM. Two days without the car for simple work. The also charged $10.00 for rotating the tires. There was a note that the "better" tires were on the front. The car has brand new tires! There probably isn't even 300 miles on them. Weaver's sells unnecessary service and lies. They obviously damaged the car's electrical system. This is my mother's third Buick and I had two GMC SUVs. I should mention our last. The Lucerne was a junky car from day one but that is for a different review. Rick Weaver's used to give great service and was a quality dealership. Since Adam Weaver took over they are hard to deal with and the service is terrible. Most disturbing is the endless lies. My family and I will never buy another vehicle from Weaver's let alone set foot in there for service or should I say lack of service. I rated one star because there wasn't a negative 10. It is a shame that a dealership that I highly respected went so far in the gutter that it could never climb out. I just got back from driving the car and the light is still on!!! You would think the idiot who delivered it would have taken it back or said something. I am so done with Weaver's! read more

Please please be very weary of going here. Due to my past experience, they claimed "they would give me a great deal to try to make things right" after going down there, no deal existed...the salesman never even had the decency to contact me after calling SEVERAL times....this went on for weeks!!! And even sold the car!! I had to contact the finance manager myself to see where we were at...this is how I found out that no deals were ever made and they were going to charge full price on the vehicle, noooo thank you, I did not agree to that! I clearly told the salesman I do not want want my credit ran without a deal I agree upon first. I am incredibly p'd off at this situation. So yet second time around....same bs from these folks. Terrible communication, nothing but lies, and complete disregard to the customer. Please I urge people....be careful!!!!!! They sold me a GMC used truck with a dead battery, corroded wheels, and inspected it as a Chevy!!! and gave me the extra keys to a chevy also....how can you make such a stupid mistake!!!! The truck almost didn't make it over the Vale Colorado pass at 8000 ft, lost power, so unable to buy a camper to pull it with....which was my goal, .....and now to discover that it is burning oil, not leaking....not a good sign. I did buy a warranty....we'll see if it covers....very disappointed. Not nice to mess with peoples lives like this....buying a vehicle for some people can be detrimental. read more

just wanted to give a thumbs up with 5 stars to rick weaver buick gmc.... i was in erie, pa recently on business from out of town, when i was involved in a car accident.... i was having trouble getting help with towing and rental car so i could continue my with my business trip..... my vehicle was taken to rick weaver gmc.... when i called the next morning to make arrangements for my repairs and shared with them my situation, they said "no problem"..... we'll contact your ins company, appoint with the claims ajuster and have all repairs done within 2 weeks..... well all was done as agreed and i am so happy that i was able continue the rest of my business trip.... also my compliments to michelle from the weaver body shop and jeff from the service department..... rick weaver has in my book a great staff in his company.... thank you all for the high level of customer service...... god bless... best regards ray corchado read more
