The brisket sandwich was loaded with thick, juicy slices of perfectly smoked brisket that was tender, flavorful, and had just the right amount of smoky bark. The bun held up without getting soggy, and the subtle sauce complemented the meat without overpowering it. The paper wrapping that the sandwich was in is now a different story. The wrapping itself does not hold up to the heat, the hot sauces and the fabulous sliced meat. The paper inside wrapping kinda fell apart on the sandwhich and i spent more time peeling pieces off the meats. Hands down though one of the best gas station briskets I've ever had. The BBQ sandwich was equally impressive -- sweet, tangy pulled pork (or chopped beef?) with a perfect balance of smoke and seasoning. It was messy in the best way possible, packed with flavor, and left me completely satisfied. For any road trip food, this is next-level. Fresh, hot, and way better than most BBQ joints I've tried. If you're at Buc-ee's, do yourself a favor and get both -- you won't regret it! Highly recommend. 10 out of 10 would stop in again on my next drive through Texas/Mississippi/Florida & Alabama!

Does NOT fit the Buc-ee's culture that it originally started as in Texas. Avoid this location at all costs. Definitely not clean bathrooms IF you can actually get to one. Rudest employees ever. Women's bathroom was ridiculous! So many out of order and lady working in there was SO rude to everyone. Longest line I have EVER been in- well ONLY line I have ever been in at a B. From Texas, have been going to B for a VERY long time. Parking lot an absolute nightmare and parking lot guy was yelling at us and being so rude! How is this a Buc-ee's?! Needs some new entrances and HAVE all your bathroom stalls working!!! Wasted a LOT of time on our 10 hour journey.

My boyfriend and I walked over from our hotel to grab some DayQuil and tobacco products before he headed to work. Madison, the cashier, provided absolutely HORRIBLE customer service, which made us feel uncomfortable and borderline disrespected with a hint of racism. Here's what happened: Madison asked for my ID, which was confusing because just two days prior, she sold us alcohol, cigarettes, and an e-vape without asking for it. My boyfriend started to show his ID but she insisted on she must see mine. We went back to the hotel to grab my ID, and when I returned, it seemed like she had alerted the other staff about us, possibly making them aware that we was walking back in and to stop talking about the situation. When we got to the counter, she goes to get the merchandise and proceeded to THROW it onto the counter, demanding my ID again. It felt overly aggressive, especially since she didn't even check my boyfriend's ID. She was only focused on harassing me about mine. After I showed her my ID and paid, I asked her to hand me the merchandise in my hand, but she outright refused, saying she didn't have to put anything in my hand. When I told her that it's basic customer service to hand products to customers, her response was dismissive. She said " why should I have to put something in your hand" A black employee then stepped in and handed the products to my boyfriend, saying "this is too much." I couldn't tell if she was referring to my request for basic respect or Madison's lack of respect and customer service skills. Either way, it was frustrating but I still thanked her for putting it in his hand. I won't be returning to this store because I know you guys not going to fire her it clear as day she is use to it , and it's disheartening to hear from another customer as we are leaving out that Madison's behavior has been reported multiple times without any action taken. It leaves a bad taste and makes me question whether Dodge's supports this kind of borderline racist treatment environment. I truly hope management addresses these issues because no one should feel unwelcome or disrespected, especially in a service setting.
