    IPA & Oktoberfest
    Liz J.

Ordered: IPA, Oktoberfest, Italian Hot Honey Pizza Beer: 3 stars. Solid IPA. Disappointing and flavorless Oktoberfest. Pizza: Zero stars. False advertising. Ordered the hot honey pizza. There was nothing "hot"/spicy at all about the pizza and the crust was flat, stale, and flavorless. It also looked nothing at all like the pictures of it on the website. Extremely false advertising on their website--incredibly disappointing.

I absolutely love the drinks and the menu. Although this girl with red hair, young, and very skinny always gives attitude. Every time I'm in there she is rude and non approachable. If I see her behind the bar I will not enter the establishment... that is how awful she is.

We really wanted to like this place but the service was so inconsistent. The first time we were not made aware that when you order from their menu it is pre-packaged cold food. No one really wants that. The second time we were going to order from the restaurant in the hotel but we couldn't get the girls attention to come back. We ordered non-alcoholic drinks so maybe that is what affected it. Nice vibe, very few options on beer.

We stopped in here for a beer on a recent trip and had a great time. The bar tender was friendly and gave great recommendations. The tears of hoppiness and Octoberfest beers were great. We also tried the chips and salsa and turkey sandwich. The chips had a sweet and savory seasoning on them that paired great with the salsa. They also had board games to play which helped us entertain our toddler. Check them out.

Great place on the Main Street. Fun after a day of hiking g at the state park or thrift shopping down Main Street

This brew house was pretty cool, had a chill vibe since it was pretty early in the day. The bartender wasn't in your face the whole time which was nice. We didn't order any food but the beers were delicious, the back in black was smooth and had the porter feel without the 12% ABV. Next time we're in the area we will definitely be back.

Great local spot to grab a wide selection of beers from. They also offer a variety of other libations for those who aren't fans of beer.

Cool demonstration of the difference between their beer and Commerical beer

I gave it three stars due to location. The up front service was polite and friendly. Lots of good people smiles and attentive. Our waitress was pleasant and gave suggestions along the way. I was expecting a fabulous 5 star food experience. I was so disappointed. The food was a great disappointment, no flavor. The plating was a mess and not appealing at all. We had a party of four and only one person was pleased with their dinner. This was the Beet Salad. Sloppy plating, only about four beet slices, covered in micro greens, freeze dried chickpeas, and vinegar. The vinegar dressing overpowered the salad and it needed salt. For $15, I was so disappointed Soba Noodles was poorly plated. Down right ugly and unappealing. The person who ordered it, said it was plain. No taste and extremely vinegary. Such a disappointment. Broiled Salmon was plated just ok. The salmon was cooked well and had good simple flavor. I enjoyed it. The side was supposed to be butternut squash and broccolini. I got four butternut squash cubes and 1 tiny broccolini. The purée on the bottom was a vinegar butternut squash- very sour and not enjoyable. It did add to the dish at all. In between the butternut squash and broccolini, there was about 13 soggy croutons that made the sides look filled in but left the palate wanting more. I so dislike soggy bread, no matter what format it comes in. The whole plate was covered in micro-greens, as to hide the plating and make it look bigger than what it is. The New York strip was cooked to perfection and the polenta was tasty. However that whole plate was $55. Plated well and had really good flavor. This party member was the only one that enjoyed his food and experience. Out of the four of us, only one left satisfied with his meal. And that was the New York strip steak. The rest of us left hungry and unsatisfied with our dinners. We were hoping that our very souls would have been touched by the food of this particular Chef . We had heard so many great things about it, only to be incredibly disappointed. I will say that this restaurant is the most expensive, fanciest , nicest, AND CLEANEST restaurant in Mineral Wells. But the food is lacking. I'm sorry.

I think I'm still kinda shocked at Revolver's business model. We arrived at their brewery just around 11 and paid $15 each for our keepsake glass and six beers with 8 oz pours each. You learn really quickly that they fill your beers almost to the top. 8 oz my ass. The staff is great and talkative, making sure you know what the beers you are getting are going to taste like. There is a ton of room on site as well. It was a muggy and misty morning (good temperatures though), but the six of us sat at a large table and were able to stay dry. There's an indoor space as well as their main brewery space and true outdoor picnic tables. Plenty of room to work with. I will spend the rest of the review talking briefly about each beer. 817 Blonde (Blonde): I started with their blonde, which was very clean and crisp and a good opening beer. Cosmo Canyon (Strawberry Lemonade Wheat Ale): Probably my favorite of all the beers. The strawberry is more subtle than their saison and kind of just adds to the flavor if anything. Blonde & Honey - Nitro (Texas Ale): Their classic Blood & Honey with nitrogen. I was warned because I guess a lot of people don't know what nitro is. It's unique. I don't fully know if a Texas Ale needs nitro, but it's a cool thing to try with your flagship beer. Yee Hops (Blackberry Lemon Saison): A fruity beer is always fun. I was told this tastes like mustard by one of my friends, but I liked it. It's never a beer I'm going out of my way to get, but it's a fun one to try. Mud Honey (Honey Dirty Blonde): Probably my second favorite behind the Cosmo. It's very light, but I really enjoyed this as well. Sidewinder (A Legacy Southwestern Pale Ale): A stronger beer to close out with. It's slightly hoppy compared to the rest, but still a classic on Revolver's roster that I'd actually never had. I think this place is a must-stop if you're ever visiting Granbury on the weekend. To be able to try so many great beers from an esteemed Texas brewery is awesome, and the barrier to entry is being 21 or older and having less than $20 in your pocket. What a steal. RIYL: So much beer for your dollar that you start wondering how it's even profitable for Revolver Brewing.

I usually think flatbreads are a step down from traditional pizza, but these changed my mind. They were fresh, made with high-quality ingredients, and full of flavor. We also had the Reuben, which was excellent. We didn't get a chance to try the food trucks this visit, but they're definitely on the list for next time. Definitely takes away from the vibe of the place which has always been enjoyable. 1) One guy spilled beer on the way to the couch, vocalized he knew he might do so, but didn't clean it up. He just left it there. I did it for him since he and his wife both made eye contact with me afterwards and did nothing to clean it up or tell anyone. They have an outdoor area for the patrons that could care less to keep the place clean. 2) Photographer left her child inside at the group (I'd actually call it community) table for 10. Both of them left the area so another patron sat on the far end minding his own business. 5 min later the little girl comes back and says "excuse me, I don't want strangers sitting next to me!" (not quietly), so the guy got up and went into the other room. The girl seemed to be autistic (based on the noises she was making when I was in the restroom and while walking past her), so she should have been left unattended to begin with. We were here 40 min. Mother was around for 5. Otherwise: Service: great! Food: great! Beer: Cold! Definltely recommend and if you're reading this and would have left your spilled beer, clean up after yourself. I'm pretty sure you mom doesn't work here and can't coming in after you. ‍

For lunch, the Reuben sandwich is hands-down one of the best I've ever had. The corned beef is incredibly tender (they pressure-cook it for hours), piled high on perfect rye with just the right amount of sauerkraut, Swiss, and dressing. It's huge and flavorful, definitely order it! For dinner, we love the Oma's Meatballs served over spätzle and topped with that rich Jäger gravy. So comforting, hearty, and packed with flavor. We've also tried their short ribs during a special brunch offering and they were fall-off-the-bone tender and delicious.
