Stopped by this afternoon after driving past almost daily. I ordered the Sundown Sliders off the Burger section of the menu. I was asked how many orders of sliders and said one. She clarified, "ok, so one slider?" I said, "no, one order of them; the menu says it's two sliders." She checked the menu I was holding and said it's only supposed to be one slider. (Even tho the menu says two and a side of fries.) So, ok, I go with it and agree to one slider. Well, when I got home and opened the bag I realized I did not get fries and the "all-beef slider" was a sausage patty and cheese. No onion, no pickle, no beef. So strange. We were literally looking at the same menu, but somehow this is what I got. Can't say it was a mix-up, either, as I was the only customer there. On the bright side, she mentioned they serve free beer and margaritas. So maybe that will get me back in there at some point. But I certainly do not recommend the Sundown Sliders. read more

We went here this morning for breakfast between basketball games. They are located about 8 minutes south of Weatherford Texas on Hwy 51. My wife had a build a breakfast taco and I had a sunrise slider. We both had a hash brown patty. My slider, while small was very good. Hot, fresh and tasty. My wife's taco was the same. Her only comment was the hot sauce was not very hot. While it is a food truck, they have a patio with tables and chairs. The guys working were friendly and the overall service was great. So much more than a food truck!! We had been wanting to try this place for a few weeks so we woke up early on a Saturday morning and decided to go for breakfast. We ordered a few breakfast burritos and the breakfast pretzel. It was amazing!! Best breakfast in town!! The owner is really nice and came out and chatted with us a bit before starting our order. Yes, if you want a great burger. This is one of the best burgers I've had in the DFW area my husband ordered the basic one which he said was excellent. He even ate all the bun which he normally doesn't do. I ordered the German one- forgot the name- and it was great too, but not sure the pretzels make a good bun, try to messy and hard to eat. The fries are excellent- crinkle cut and crispy on the outside tender on the inside. We ordered their margaritas which were just right as well. The only downside is the location and that they don't have any place to sit and eat - yet. That is coming. We'll be back even with the out-of-the-way location. The food is awesome. read more

Just moved to Weatherford and saw this place on door dash & I'm instantly obsessed! The breakfast on a bun is insanely good!!!! And the jalapeño poppers are amazing too because they actually cook the bacon where other places will have non crispy bacon, which sucks. read more

The other morning my wife, my son and I decided to try this place out. We have seen him multiple times whenever we are googling places to eat in the area. Sometimes we like to try new things. We have also heard good reviews as well as seeing several good ones online. I love to cook and my wife is a manager in a kitchen. So we know what to look out for. The place was very clean. The staff there were very friendly. Sat us at a table and took our order. I wasn't expecting that because it felt more like one of those places that you would stand up next to the window and order. There was a decent variety of food. After ordering our food we played some games with our son. We thought it was neat that they had some old school games like Jenga or connect four. On a side note, the company that I work for gets us breakfast burritos a lot in the mornings. So I know a lot about just about every kind of breakfast burrito that every kind of restaurant around here has to offer. I've been trying to figure out which place has the best bang for your buck. I can tell you in 6 years of searching Weatherford that this place has the best breakfast burrito around. They nailed it from every angle. From the tortilla, to the eggs, to the seasoning, to the proportions of everything. The good size burrito that will fill you up and not break the bank. My son is kind of picky when it comes to food, I just stopped and grabbed him some donuts on the way in. I know most places probably won't let you bring in outside food but they were cool about it. Even offered him some other things to try to find something he liked while we were there. It means a lot to me whenever people are nice to my kids and don't just ignore them. When my wife's food came out they brought her an extra jalapeno popper. She loves spicy stuff so she had to try that. She said the food was very good as well. After we were done eating we sat around and talked with the owner for a while. We truly enjoyed the experience. The location that we tried is on the way to granbury. You will see some flags on the left side and it looks like a metal yard. Just go through the gate and to the right and you will see it. There is another location on 51 heading towards springtown. We plan on trying it out sometime soon as well. I really hope these guys hit it off. I would love to see some more established brick and mortar places across town. read more

Great experience. This is a perfect spot to sit down and spend some time together. It's not your typical spot but that's what makes it great. It's outside in a soft enclosure for now so dress appropriately (they have heaters so it's not bad). The food is served fresh and hot. We ordered a Jalepeno popper, the shrimp appetizer, the tacos, a brisket burger, kids cheese quesadilla, and the ice cream with warm churros. Everything was great. Our first time to visit Flavor on 51, won't be the last. Our food was excellent and served quickly. My wife had the smoked pork quesadilla. I had the cheeseburger and fries. No inside dining. So we took our food home. They have picnic tables outside under an awning. It was comfortable but it will be much better after the weather cools off soon. What we had was great. Note...this place is in an industrial park on the side of a farm to market highway. Look for the flags! I called in my order ahead. Shelby and Amber were so nice and made amazing food!! I had a little (as much as I could physically keep down after eating too much) of all of the following.... Cheesesteak sandwich mmmmmmm maybe better than I had in Philly they accommodated my request and did 1/2 hatch chilis and 1/2 bell peppers and it was perfect. Tequila lime shrimp...perfectly cooked not rubbery with great flavor on a small bed of baby greens. Elotes -they made them with no hot spice (Sriracha) as I have a kid with sensory issues that cannot handle the heat of black pepper and it was the best I've ever had. I love cilantro but if you don't, they did ask me if I wanted it. And a salad (can't remember the name) with brisket, big Parmesan shavings, tomato, walnuts, red onion with a raspberry vinaigrette. All of it was so good and they were very accommodating to my special requests. The only problem is that it is too far away from my house. Please open a Flavor in Aledo!
