took my Audi there after hail damage they fixed the damage from the hail but damaged my front lip and side trim on car, when confronted about the issue with a pic I had taken of the car previously I was yelled at by there employe and was called a liar, took it to another shop and the said the must've rubbed up against it with a tool, my thoughts exactly, I had to pay out of pocket to fix their mistake, service is more than incredibly rude!! After taken 3 different vehicles there and spending over 10k throughout the year I was treated horribly!! I will never do business with them again read more

I recently moved to St. Charles County from St. Louis County. My auto repair shop of choice has always been Spirit West in Manchester, MO. I took my recently damaged 2021 Accord to Rick's Auto Body based on the advice of the tow company that picked up my damaged car. Rick's got me in quickly and sent me regular e-mails with updates on the progress of the repair. They worked with and we're pre-approved with my insurance company. Service isn't amazing, not bad but not great either. All the hiccups I went through were made right but also at my inconvenience sadly.(I turned rental in and had my wrong headlights upon pick up. Was made right but I also had to put the correct low beams in the correct headlights myself. They couldn't fit the low beams in the right headlights but they could fit them in the wrong ones just fine, that is once they ordered them... also took them a week to order the correct ones after I said something at pick up about them being wrong. I even provided the exact link for my specific headlights and was told they would be ordered right away, they werent.) The body work and paint done to my car was fine besides the headlight thing. My mom had her car done before mine, we ended up finding chips in the paint and some swirls sadly. Body work done to hers was also fine though. I would give 3stars myself just because I understand everyone makes little mistakes no one is perfect. I also didn't have my car or a rental to get to work from 12am thurs to 9am the next morning though. Just so they could swap the headlights themselves and the bulbs, minus the low beams. They did give me normal bulbs to get home with though, but it shouldn't have taken that long. It only took me maybe 30-40mins to take the headlights out and swap the low beams to the correct ones myself. Like I said before, at my inconvenience so no I cant honestly give more than 2 stars. read more

Rick's auto body did a great job repairing our suv, we needed it done as fast as possible and they worked us right in to the shop. Very friendly and accommodating business. This is the third time in about 15 years that we have to take a car in for repair and they have been great every time. If you need body work on your car you can't go wrong using Rick's. read more

Irresponsible and rude! I will never used their service again. Short story: I left my damaged car at Rick's to get fixed one day, and picked it up another day with new damages and receiving rude and nonsense service. Full story is below. I dropped my car there to fixed the not-so-major accident damage on the bumper on Monday. Somebody hit my legally parked car in parking garage from back. The incident was under his insurance (satefarm) and they suggested Rick's in first place. In drop-off day they told me, it will be ready by Thursday, but they didn't call me until I called them on Friday. I showed up at the shop and did the paper work, getting ready to see the outcome of 5 days of Rick's work and service. Well, feel free to look at the attached pictures! The car was damaged from the front very visibly. In the next paragraph I'll explain what was their reaction to this. I walked back to the shop and asked them to come with me and take a look at the car. They claimed the damaged has been there before and I hit the car while driving prior to dropping off without noticing it! Funniest thing, I heard ever. As you can see the damage is very visible, and There is no way to drive this car without noticing it. Basically, what they were saying was I am lying to them! They offered they can attach the hanging hood back up without neither replacing it nor repairing the new damages on body (needs to get pained). When I refused this poor offer and wanted to take this incident to my insurance, one of the staff showed a very rude behavior to this and said "whatever!" Multiple times while she was walking away. Showing no responsibility for what has happened to my car at their shop. They also claimed that they have found that the hood was repaired already. I honestly don't know. But I believe the guy who told me so. However, even so, this doesn't explained the new damages to the car obviously. As you can see in the pictures, the hood was hanging and almost touching the ground, and the damages to hood and front bumper are entirely visible and there was no way I could miss any of those before. The damages clearly were new and have happened at Rick's and under their responsibility. This is by far the most terrible service I received from any business in this country. After I talked to the insurance and made sure whatever happens during the service is the auto shop responsibility, I naively hoped they are willing to show some responsibility and willing to fix the issue, so I called them. They refused to fix the damages that have happened at their shop and take absolutely no responsibility for it. Horrible experience, and horrible way to do business! This was my first time working with an auto body shop after a small accident that left a pretty superficial scrape (or so it appeared to my car savvy friend) on my rear bumper. I did not know how the process went having to work with the insurance company and to arbitrarily pick a nearby shop to fix my car. Rick's Auto Body set a pretty high bar for this first timer! They made the process easy, provided great customer service, and even washed/vacuumed my car after the job was complete! Highly recommended! Today we went back into Ricks auto body to tweak a headlight wire. Looked at it while we waited. Took 15 minutes at the most. The best part about waiting for 15 minutes was playing with their three dogs. Once we were done, my daughter got into her newly repaired car and I got into mine. Except mine was dead. Went in and told the nice lady about calling a tow truck and she insisted they jump my car for me. The battery was corroded. Joe cleaned and jumped it as a courtesy . I could be more appreciative. I've been to Rick's Auto Body three times now. The first time was for a minor bumper replacement, but the second time, it was for my new Palisade with almost $10k in damages and the third was to fix the bumper my daughter somehow removed from the car. In each visit, the work done well and they got the job done as soon as possible with parts availability being the only slow down. But what really sets these guys apart is the customer service. Everyone you speak to is super friendly and they go above an beyond to make sure you understand everything that is going on, keep you updated on timelines and will always make time to answer any questions or address any concerns. They are such a class act, that we'll go to these guys anytime we need any kind of work done and I highly recommend them. read more

My wife had an accident in Weldon Spring. Our insurance company had us take it to Rick's Auto Body. This was in the end of May. It took a month for this body shop to repair our car. We were not satisfied with the repair because the steering was tight. It did not seem to steer well. So we had Rick's auto body reinspect the steering. On June 20 we were informed the vehicle was fine. Today is Sept. 24, I just took our vehicle to the dealer. The dealer informed me that the rack and pinion steering has problems with the boots. The driver side boot is torn and the passenger side is twisted. I am not happy with Rick's Auto Body. read more

Brought my car in for minor damage to the radiator and front bumper. When picking up the car, they had used some of the old parts of the bumper that were put back on. Which I was expecting a fully new bumper it still had scraped up pieces put back on there. Then I noticed my passenger side fog light was still loose! So had to put it back in the shop for another day. Then they found out an additional part they had no idea that was still cracked and broken. So they had to order an additional part which took a whole other day, so not the best quality control. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

The customer service is horrible. They may treat your car well, but they have no idea how to treat their customers. In a situation where you need someone to lead you through a process, they make you work your own way through it. I received a check the week before my car was finished from the insurance company made out to me and my husband. No one ever said to bring it with me when I pick up the car or you must write a check unless you want to pay the interest on a credit card and that anything over $2,000 you'll need a cashiers check (which mine was less, thank goodness). I didn't bring a check with me. Who carries them anymore? I said, "Oh, I didn't know I needed a check, I was going to use a credit card" The woman behind the counter said, "Well, we have it posted all over our office" in a disgusted voice. I'm confused enough about driving a rental car dealing with insurance, dealing with a rental car and what I have to do to get it paid for, do you really think I'm going to sit and read your silly pink 8-1/2 x 11 sign? I had to drive all the way home, pick up a check and drive back to pay for and pick up my car. They could have told me this as a courtesy on the phone when they told me my car was ready. Then, when I returned with the check, I was reading their little sign and read that they DO take credit cards and charge the interest to use it. It would have been worth my time to just pay the dang interest. I was so disgusted. This was after I was informed by the shop, on the thrid day, which was the day that I was supposed to get my car back that they received the wrong part for my repair and found more damage and I had to do without my car for five more days becasue it was over a weekend. When I questioned if they could have it overnight delivered, the man reminded me that this happens and I should read it in the fine print on the contract. So, I'm just supposed to accept that becasue they wrote it in fine print. Instead of saying, We are so sorry ma'am, but we'll do out best to get it on the road for you, I got 'Well, it's in the fine print" Really? Horrible people. Horrible people that don't know how to deal with people. A little courtesy goes a long way. Never again. Never, never again. read more
