The technician that guided me in was super friendly, as is everybody here, typically. I visited on one of those amazingly frigid January days we get here in the Midwest and they had the heat blasting from above to keep the cavernous, window-filled garage warm. I've been here several times over the last couple of years and the process always moves quickly. Being able to sit in my car the whole time is a perk that keeps me coming back. They were shortstaffed, so I gather that was the reason they did not take a gander at my cabin air filter or try to upsell me on any other items, as is typical. Also skipped was guiding me through resetting the oil change reminder my car gives me. They verified that my headlights and signals were functioning properly, though. I used to think it was a plus that they checked the air in my tires, but when I left this time, I realized that three out of four of my caps weren't screwed back on properly. So next time, I will just have them skip that part and stick to doing it myself. I remembered to grab the discount that's always available: I utilize the synthetic blend, so I saved $15. If you use the full synthetic, it's $20 off. Google it or call the store and choose the option to have a coupon sent directly to your phone. Easy peasy - and one more thing checked off the to do list!

My cat was making a whirling sound. So, I took my Honda to dealership where I am told, I need two new tires- sound gone, and recommend an alignment How did the tire shop miss it, i don't know. .. Yes, I called and talked the to Mark, who said I should have brought it back. You misdiagnosed my car and bring it back. I asked for the refund of the money spent another they did on the car for my inconvenience, and they have left me on hold. Said someone would get back to me but no has... buyer beware

    Had Multiple issues on June 11th 2026. Seriously the worst service I have ever received…read more For starters they linked the car to the wrong account. I have used plaza countless times and have my own name and account but they linked it to the previous car owner. Second I scheduled an appointment online. When I arrived at 8am I told the employees my name and that I scheduled an appointment through the website I was told that those appointments don't mean anything and that there are 4 people ahead of me. I was told they would get my car back in 45min. Over 2 HOURS LATER at 10:48am they give me a call stating I need new front brakes so I agree to the additional service. At 2:51 pm I call to check on the status of my car and they tell me they just started on it a few minutes ago because they were waiting on the brakes to come in. Should have mentioned it would be a 4 hour wait over the phone. So finally at 4:59pm I get a call saying my car is ready to be picked up. Once I get my car picked up and head home I realize they lost my rear passenger hub cap. Mind you this is the second time plaza has lost one of my hubcaps. It's mind blowing it takes 7 hours to do an alignment tire rotation and change the front brakes. It cost me over $550 and I'm missing a hubcap. Seriously the worst service I have ever received I will never be back. Day 2 I go up to plaza first thing the next morning to talk to them in person about the missing hubcap. The assistant manager told me if I can find a cheap used one bring him the bill and he will pay it. Sorry but I will not be buying a used one. I feel as a business who just got over $500 from a customer the least you can do is replace the part you didn't put back on. I called the customer service line that was commented to me. I was told someone from their leadership team would call me in 24 - 48 hours. The 48 hours came and went no phone call. I then called back and was told I would receive a call the same day. That day came and went no phone call. So moral of the story plaza tire doesn't care about helping they only use the same copy and paste reply to show face. DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO AVOID PLAZA TIRE!!!

Whether one considers that a public service or a government-sponsored scavenger hunt for cash is beside the point; we all have to do it. With that in mind, I scheduled an 11:00 a.m. appointment at Dobbs Tire & Auto for an emissions test. I arrived five minutes early, handed over my key fob, and took a seat in the waiting area, expecting the process to be relatively quick. An hour later, after nearly succumbing to the fumes given off by the display tires in the showroom, I politely inquired about the status of my vehicle. Rather than receiving an update or an apology for the delay, I was met with a sharp rebuke from the employee at the desk, Steve, who seemed offended that I had dared ask. The emissions test was eventually completed nearly two hours after my scheduled appointment. Now, I understand that delays happen. Cars break, schedules back up, and unexpected problems arise. What I don't understand is the complete lack of communication, the rude response to a reasonable question, and the absence of even the most basic customer-service courtesies. Not a single apology for the delay. Not a simple "thank you for your patience." If you're going to keep customers waiting for nearly two hours for a scheduled appointment, the least you can do is treat them with a little respect. I came in expecting an emissions test. I left with an emissions test and a lesson in how not to treat customers.
