The team from Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking has JUST left the job site. The fence is gorgeous, they picked up the whole yard of all debris generated from taking down the old fence, the boards are consistently in a straight line across the top all the way around, and the cedar is beautiful. Andy Herrera was on site from the beginning of the build to the end and his helper, Felix, just joined the last few days but the team has done a remarkable job. THANK YOU! Anytime we had a problem with the build, they fixed the problem, including a board that my wife absolutely despised because it was slightly bent to the right and didn't look cohesive with the rest of the fence. Just today, before signing off, they removed the wife-offending board and put in the straightest board to make sure that there will be no problem. On my part, I chose to supply iced Gatorade for the workers throughout. I figured, in the heat, any help on my part would be useful and, from the smiles, I would say it was appreciated. Before I closed on my new property I started phoning fence installers. Rick's fencing was courteous and professional with each contact. They even listened to what I wanted to accomplish when I proposed & added a "sort of custom kennel" which will be used as a chicken run. They attached the fencing to the "my tool shed" which will become my make due coup. Received a quote for a vinyl fence from Rick's after getting a quote from another company. The quote was actually slightly more than the other estimate we received, but Mario took a lot of time in explaining things to us in great detail, as well as showing us a sample of the materials they use for their fencing, which was clearly superior to other vinyl fencing materials we have seen. Amazing customer service. They also provide an amazing warranty, both on the materials, as well as on their workmanship. The customer service goes way above and beyond!! Bill Boyd at Rick's Fencing in Kennewick is our hero!! (Thank you again Bill if you see this) We adopted a rescue dog 3 weeks ago. He is completely deaf. He figured how to get out of the chain link fenced dog kennel yard area. We were very stressed and scared he would get away. I called several fencing companies and explained my situation and they said they could have "someone get back to me to schedule an estimate". I called Ricks (before opening hours), Bill answered, I explained our situation and he said he would be there personally in an hour. He was there in 50 minutes!! Rick's provided a quick review/estimate, provided options (total do-it-yourself, Rick's place posts, or Rick's do complete install), pricing and time frame. I selected Rick's to install fence as well as mow strip. Quite pleased with work of BILL & SCOTT during the install process. Always kept me informed of progress, asked for input/questions multiple times. Most importantly - wife was pleased with final product. Highly recommend Rick's. A custom deck design and frame installation was provided to allow us to install the boards and reduce costs. They showed up promptly for both the free estimate and work days. Aaron and Eddy were very experienced and quickly came together as a new team to get the framing and pergola square. Although there were some issues and field changes, they were handled very professionally. We would have given them 5 stars, but new office resources and new field crew had some minor miscommunication due to growing pains. However, we are confident that future projects will run even better. Overall, we were very happy with Aaron's and Eddy's workmanship and helpful tips to complete the deck. read more

I have been to many houses and asked "who did your fence" or "who did your deck." They tell me Rick's fencing and decking did it. I ask how they likes their services and if they would use them again. I havent heard a no from anyone yet. They love the work ricks does. They answer any questions you may have. When they are done with their work they have you check it out and make sure it's to your liking. They do an amazing job on repairs due to accidents. My front fence that was put up by my dad back in 1974/1975 finally blew down from our 3 consecutive wind storms. Felix and Jorge came and within a few hours removed the old fence and put in the new fence. Rick's Custom and Fencing & Decking had done our back fence a few years earlier. I thought I use the same company today. In both cases, the quality has been excellent. While they were at my house, I had them replace a rotten post connected to the house. This is to prevent the gate connected to it being pulled out by somebody by accident. That part looks great also. read more

4 months ago I had a chain link fence installed by Josh Guilliam and Chance White. They did an amazing job, answered all of my random questions, and did this work in 2 days of freezing weather. They were very professional, very polite, and very quick/quality job. I am very pleased with the work they did and have not had any issues with it buckling in the wind, or coming off the middle poles. We had a fence with trellis that had seen better days and needed repair. We called Ricks and after discussion decides to make a few changes as well as add a new section of fence and gate. Removal of the old fence was a bear but Dalton and Sergio handled it like troopers. The work was done so professionally and they were patient with a couple of changes and walked us through everything. We had Rick's fencing pull out a previous fence and install a new one. The quality of the materials was much better than the existing fence. Andres and Daniel worked with a shovel and a saw (No post hole diggers) to remove the old fence posts and install new posts and fencing material. They did it all in one day!
