So I may or may not have been here twice this week (and by that I mean twice in 3 days), but I'm not embarrassed AT ALL. This place has the best wings I've ever had. Seriously. The sauce is that super vinegary authentic wing sauce - not generic hot sauce that a lot of wing places use. Rick's Hotwings has terrible customer service....I ordered via my Yelp app, 6 flats, six drums and an order of fries. I left a 20% tip. Order fulfilled through Grubhub. After waiting for an hour and a half for delivery, I looked out and the order was sitting on the steps of my entryway. I brought the freezing cold food in and the hotwing sauce had spilled all inside the bag and was a mess. I called Rick's Hotwings and was informed that the food was given to the driver quite some time ago. I explained that it was left outside, no one rang my bell or knocked on my door and that I needed the order redelivered and that the driver needed to notify me. No, no, no! Not my responsibility after I give to driver, said Rick's Hotwings. Contact Grubhub. Okay....so I first sent a text through my Grubhub app. Ann replied that she needed my order number or she couldn't help me. Hold please. I went back to the Yelp app and checked the status of my order, where I was able to obtain the phone number for Grubhub. Left chat, called Grubhub, she found my order information without a number. I held while she called the driver, he had no explanation but Grubhub believed me and issued a refund. Rick's will not replace the order. I am having cereal for dinner. I will never order from, or put my foot inside their door ever again. I was used to the guy at the counter being rude and charging for pre-made dressing. Never again! read more

This indiscreet place nestled in between Sally's and a Chinese restaurant is LEGIT. The restaurant is threadbare, but has all the essentials, clean and neat seating and a tv. My husband first ordered our wings hot and whoamygosh were they ever! Burning hot, but so delicious! The second time we came we had to order for our daughter, so we went with mild. Mild is even better IMO, because it still has a decent heat to it, but the flavor is delicious. We ordered a small order of fries to go along with it and it was small paper bag filled to the top. (what you put a 40 oz in lmao!), it was a pretty generous portion to be considered "small". There is a bottle of seasoning salt on the table so don't forget to season it yourself if you'd like. Rick's certainly isn't much to look at on the inside. The food though does make up for what the appearance lacks. The wings are large and meaty. The will cater to my likes and make an order well done with all flats. The various temperatures of buffalo sauces are good, but my favorites are the lemon pepper wings. There wasn't a lot of meat on the bones and the flavors were a bit lacking. The atmosphere is dingy and dirty (which would be okay if the food was awesome, because then it's considered a "hole in the wall".) I had their wings a few weeks back and I would say the lemon pepper was very delicious. They also have a good curly fries. Now one thing I noticed was I had requested for no ice with my sprite and the female owner was still insisting on putting ice in the cup I guess because they wouldn't have to give me a lot more Sprite. Anyway the male Cook said something to her in their language and she stopped pressuring me about the ice. I also one time got their honey barbecue wings but they were ok.
