Dropped in here to pick up an order for work. Location sits off Whitlock in shopping center with Gabriel's, at the end. I liked the indoor atmosphere. Nice little small bar with pizza booths and ledge seating. They do serve alcohol here as well, plus the lady said they were expanding. It is mainly wings but they have other bar type options available. I ordered the mango habanero wings with blue cheese. My wings were really good with a nice kick and the blue cheese was very good. The meat came off very easily too. My only complaint here is the wings are not very big. Other than that, I'd recommend them if you are in the area.

First time here and in the area so decided to check it out. The location is in a shopping center next to a Sip and paint spot. There is parking and decent seating available inside. There were 3 flat screens on so you could watch sports. I am not sure what channel but older R&B playing at decent level in background. We were greeted immediately upon entering. She came from the kitchen area ready to take out order. My son and I both got the wing basket to give them a try. Basket comes with 6 wings, fries, drink, and ranch or blue dressing. The wait for the food wasn't long. We got ours to go to avoid traffic. The food looked good. There were 2 pieces of celery in each box as well. I prefer carrots so would have told them to keep the celery. The wings were wet. I wish my lemon pepper had more seasoning but still tasted good. My son enjoyed his teriyaki. They appeared to have nice flavor from seasoning. The fries were good with tad bit of seasoning salt on them. No issues with drinks. Liked that the guy came out kitchen to bring us our food. He was very friendly and engaging. He made sure the order was correct. Nice interaction. While waiting, I saw it was $0.60 wing day. My only complaint would be that the girl didn't mention the daily special when we ordered. Aside from that, it was positive experience and would order from there again.

Burnt pieces of fish in my fish tacos. Otherwise - they would have been tasty.

I really hate do to this, but I'm finally going to have to completely cross these guys off the list. Stopped in a few days ago for some of their delicious fish tacos. The cashier was 'ok' - didn't get her name but she was polite. She didn't wear a mask. And she was sweeping, when I entered, she wasn't wearing gloves and she didn't wash her hands before going to the kitchen to get my food. My actual food was not great. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, but my actual fish was burnt. I had to pick through and pull off burnt pieces of breading. See pics. And it came with a side of tortilla chips but the chips were stale and I'm not sure when I've ever been given tortilla chips without a side of salsa. Had the chips been edible, I would have been pretty disappointed to try to eat them without salsa. I still wish them success - but I can't keep spending money at a place where I can't enjoy the food.

Frankly - I'm struggling to figure out how I haven't heard of this place and why no one has posted…read morepics. The oldest review is from 2012! For more than 8 years, I used to frequently visit a plant less than a mile from this place and had no idea it was here. The only thing I can think of regarding lack of photos is maybe the other diners are wolfing their food down before they can snap pics. Lol. I love a good, hot cheap lunch and this place fits the bill. I guess it's what some would call a 'hole in the wall,' but as long as you keep that in mind, for this type of eatery, they knocked it outta the park! Exterior / Interior It's a gas station / convenience store, located right on the corner of Allgood and Damar Rd. (It's less than 5 minutes north of The Big Chicken). Limited parking and be careful exiting the lot. It's on a curve, no traffic light and most motorists seemed intent on disobeying the speed limit. Interior seemed clean and orderly, most customers seemed to be buying food or scratchers. They have this virtual gambling machines and each one was occupied. Crowd was a mix of friendly working class folks and surly sour faced people cursing and trying to steal other people's joy. Food I ordered a turkey club for myself and a chicken philly with fries for the SO. I took the liberty of opening his sandwich and fries to take a pic. My turkey club was quite tasty. I would have his again but I'd ask for it to be placed in a Styrofoam container and I would probably omit the third slice of toast. Thanks to the tight, foil packaging, may sandwich got pretty steamed up by the time I got to my destination. My sweetie said his cheesesteak was excellent and he enjoyed his fries as well. The fries and tator tots have their own dedicated cooking station - and they looked and smelled delicious. Also want to give some Kudos for variety. The cooking area is TINY but somehow, in addition to cheesesteaks and burgers, they also have cold cut sandwiches, fried chicken sandwiches, shrimp PoBoys, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, beef / lamb gyros and hot dogs. They even have a veggie patty sandwich! Customer Service The 3 men behind the cash register were friendly and the person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and kind too. (I called to ask about hours and whether they had a menu online). The young lady doing all the cooking was friendly and efficient. She smiled as she asked if mushrooms and onions were ok on the Philly. She kept smiling as she asked if I wanted it dressed with mayo, tomato and lettuce and she thanked me for stopping by. She was manning the grill, the fry station and taking orders and still she managed to stay upbeat and pleasant. Price / Value I think the food prices are pretty reasonable. Another reviewer said the cheesesteak was $5 - either regular inflation or COVID ... it's $6.49. My turkey club was $5.79 and I think the fries were $1.89. They don't have any paper take-away menus (you know I asked) and no online presence so I snapped a few pics of the menu they have written on the an actual, old-school chalk board. Unfortunately, the chalk is very faint and the menu is very hard to read. COVID precautions None at all that I could see. No masks were worn by anyone. There is a plexiglass divider between the customers and the cashiers and the cooking area is on an elevated platform, but otherwise - nada! Overall Overall, once COVID is over, I would stop back by if I was in the area. They are open for breakfast and they stop cooking at 4pm, so I would suggest arriving no later than 3:30pm. If the owner reads this - I would LOVE to see a chicken gyro added in the future. Lol. You already have the flatbread, onions, Tzatziki sauce ... just use that tasty chicken you use on the chicken philly.

Only problem is that it's so popular, trying to park anytime near breakfast or lunch is difficult- but worth it.

Plus get some sandwiches To-Go for tomorrow's lunch I will tell you that I've never found a fresher hoagie than Capriotti's. Never found a tastier, never found the quality meats and ingredients like Capriotti's. Capriotti's is second to NONE. SERIOUSLY! We devoured our food so of course I forgot to take pics ‍ But I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak which is the BEST Philly I have ever had and I seek them out! Trust me! I don't know if I'm the only one who does this but I make sure I have Lea Perrins Worcestershire anytime I have a Philly Cheesesteak and I came prepared. The hubby got his #1 which was a Bobbie warmed. The kid tried the Loaded Fries with Pastrami and Provolone and Russian dressing on the side because she wasn't sure if she would like it. She LOVED it! The Pastrami is so good, so tender! Big enough portion for an 11 year old to have leftovers even. The hubby and I got Bobbie's To-Go for tomorrow's lunch and we the kid got a baked Capastrami To-Go for tomorrow's lunch. Caleb came up front to help out the new kid and was so patient with my order changes and kind. Both were very welcoming and personable. Deja came up to the front for a minute and I said hello. She was so helpful last time we were here. Thanks to the Caps crew for making the best sandwiches, once again! You guys never disappoint. I can honestly say the location here beats any of our Las Vegas locations we used to frequent when we lived there. The dining room is spacious and modern with two televisions for entertainment. Hope we can make it back soon!

The service was very good. Very polite and attentive. As an aside, I have to say that wanting a tip for just making sandwiches, is annoying. Anyway, I wound up tipping 10%,which was about $3.50. It's crazy how the prices jumped! $7.99 for a mini, which is 4 inches long. I got an Italian sub and got the small size for $10.99! And that's without even a pickle to keep it company! My husband ordered a tuna sub, a medium for $11.99! And an order of fries for $3.99. The fries were delicious, crispy and hot, right out of the fryer. The meat on my sub was indistinguishable. It tasted alright but not like a real Italian submarine. I have to add that the table was dirty and we had to clean it before sitting down. I guess we have to lower our expectations or just stay home.
