They had interest-free financing available for us to bridge the gap while we refinanced our home to pay for the work. They were even willing to talk to my insurance company/State Board of Insurance if it would have helped. In other words, they owned my problem without any obligation to do so. Home Contractors are famous for being flaky and doing crummy work. It's a horrible industry. Elements Home Remodeling seems to have a great business model. "Do good work and be obvious about doing so. The contrast will bring in business". I cannot recommend EHR enough. Really.

After repeated calls and emails again, we finally got "rescheduled" for the following Saturday. Again a no show, with zero communication. After months of being led on and two waisted Saturdays, we are left to dispute the deposit charge with our credit card company.

The Owner, Taz Hamami, does not use subcontractor so his entire crew works for DMV Contracting. His company went above and beyond replacing the roof, gutters, gutter guards, down spouts, fixed and painted all of the water damage, installed new lighting where needed, stained my front door, painted and reattached my shutters and replaced two door jams where water damage had occurred. I will get all of my future home repair work done by Taz and his crew from now on. Their workmanship quality was outstanding. It wasn't rocket science but Seymour took the time to answer all of our questions. We received our reasonable estimate 24 hours later. This was our first estimate and we had 3 others scheduled. Once we received all of the other estimates we decided to go with Armor Fence. On 4/4 the installers arrived along with Seymour to make sure everything was set the way we wanted it. Three hours later, they took away the old fence and had installed the new. WE LOVE it and are very pleased with the service and product so far.

The old roof was leaking and was way beyond its useful life and had been installed incorrectly years ago: it was roofed over a previous roof and had no drip edges. Other than cracking some dry wall when installing the new skylight, From start to finish, Kris Wisda (owner) and his team did great work installing the new roof (Certainteed Landmark Pro), and their the trim and soffit work was excellent too. Kris is honest, caring, thorough, and easy to contact, unlike many contractors. He is a consummate professional! From our very first interaction to even after the work done and time to pay, he was open and honest about the work that had been done and needed to be done. Two examples: One, he paid particular attention to the soffit ventilation and coached us on trade offs that we needed to make to ensure that our new roof would be sufficiently ventilated. Second, even after we gave him the last check for full payment of completed services, he told us that that he was sending a few members of his team back to finish one more item that we didn't realize needed to be done. I thank Kris and the Anchor Remodeling team for their hard work that provided us a new, functional roof and greatly improved the exterior look of our home.
