The old roof was leaking and was way beyond its useful life and had been installed incorrectly years ago: it was roofed over a previous roof and had no drip edges. Other than cracking some dry wall when installing the new skylight, From start to finish, Kris Wisda (owner) and his team did great work installing the new roof (Certainteed Landmark Pro), and their the trim and soffit work was excellent too. Kris is honest, caring, thorough, and easy to contact, unlike many contractors. He is a consummate professional! From our very first interaction to even after the work done and time to pay, he was open and honest about the work that had been done and needed to be done. Two examples: One, he paid particular attention to the soffit ventilation and coached us on trade offs that we needed to make to ensure that our new roof would be sufficiently ventilated. Second, even after we gave him the last check for full payment of completed services, he told us that that he was sending a few members of his team back to finish one more item that we didn't realize needed to be done. I thank Kris and the Anchor Remodeling team for their hard work that provided us a new, functional roof and greatly improved the exterior look of our home. They didn't even look before pushing things over the side and in one instance I was showered with roofing material from three floors above. When I tried to address it with one of the workers, I received an insincere apology delivered with a smile. I also overheard the supervisor say to the workers to let him know before they started laying the roof tiles so he could "show [them] how to do it." So you've hired roofers that don't know how to install roofing? No fault to my neighbors, of course. But it's clear that the company does not hire or train its workers to be skilled or courteous, so I would caution others when considering hiring them.

I did this even though Certified was much more expensive ($1,885.71) than the previous company who replaced the original gables ($783.70)! I thought I would get just what I wanted and a professional job at that. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the replaced vents were the same vents as before! On March 11th I sent an email to the company owner explaining my dissatisfaction. A worker was sent out to find the problem. He listened to me and after some hogwash of a discussion did the best he could. Would I hire them again to perform needed work on this 36 yr.old house? NO!
