This is a great bakery exactly what I was looking for something quick. They made my eggs just the way I asked. There is plenty of room to sit. If you're looking for breakfast that's good and affordable come to Rico Ran.

First time in PR and I'm glad I found the rico pan bakery. They have many locations but I came to the original one and had a nice breakfast . Scramble eggs with ham and delicious toast. They have all kinds of pasteries . Loved the ambiance and homey feeling like grandma just made me breakfast. Love the service as well. Im coming back for my breakfast sandwich's because I didn't get to try it.

Fun place to try for breakfast. I love the hash brown. The breakfast sandwich was just OK. A lot of bread for not much inside. Could've used more egg. The Rio signature sandwich was really good. Lots of meat in there. I like this one more. The bread isn't really memorable. It's an average spot. But we were full. We tried some of their pastries, and they are nothing worth mentioning.

Nice breakfast spot with all the criollo breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Tried the ham egg and cheese which can feed two people. Cafe con leche, cortados and such and small selection of pastries. I just had a 4,000 calorie breakfast!! Chasing it with an ozempic and Lipitor RN. Parking in front of service is quick.

THIS IS THE BEST HIDDEN GEM IN PUERTO RICO!!!! Period!!! This is the only spot we revisited on our trip (three times, by the way!). Unassuming on the side of the highway, Rico Pan serves the best sandwiches we have ever had. The staff were beyond friendly and patient with our bad Spanish. On our first visit, they took the time to explain the sandwiches, the ingredients, the bread, and help us order what they would recommend as the "best" options. My absolute favorite sandwiches of the trip were ordered here. My favorite of the favorites was the Cuban sandwich... wowowowow, I think of it at least once a week. Rico Pan honestly made our vacation- please visit if you can! You won't be dissapointed.

We're so grateful to find this place since we're staying at the Wyndham up the block. Didn't want to spend $40 each day for breakfast at the resort. The ladies behind the counter are all so wonderful, patient taking our big orders. The egg sandwiches are delicious made with fresh bread and butter. Carrot cake was not overly sweet and you can taste the nutmeg. Coffee was delightful. They even have alternate milks. We enjoyed it so much we came 3 times. It's worth the $10 taxi from resort. I'm going to miss this place Parking maybe an issue.

Good sandwiches in Rio Grande! Stopped in for breakfast-lunch on a Friday morning. The place was pretty busy but there was plenty of seating inside. Service was friendly, just some struggles w/ the language barrier. Food was quick to come out too! My husband and I split the turkey sandwich and the iced coffee. Turkey sandwich was delicious! Iced coffee was good too, but we ended up finding a better place to get coffee later in our trip. Good spot!

Amazing food with a good price and large portions. We got three sandwiches and all of us could only finish half. Lots of seating, air conditioning, and friendly staff.

This place was ok! We had had a lot of fried food in Puerto Rico up to this point so this was a nice change of pace. The sandwiches were decent and maybe a little on the dry side but the hot sauce at the table helped with that. Honestly it was a pretty decent meal on the lighter side so we didn't feel weighed down afterwards. The coffee was decent too. It wasn't anything special like some of the other coffee I had in Puerto Rico, but it got the job done. This place had typical little bakery vibes. It seemed like most people were ordering to go. I'd go back here for food in a pinch but I probably wouldn't crave it. The prices were fair for what it was too.

An excellent breakfast spot if you live or are visiting the island. We chose to avoid the exorbitant prices they charged at the hotel we were staying and had an excellent breakfast for a quarter of what we would have paid at the hotel. I ordered what is my personal favorite breakfast sandwich which ids the mortadella and cheese sandwich with a coffee, my girlfriend hat the oatmeal and we also had several bacon, eggs and cheese sandwiches. To top it off we had a sugar donut which always ends our breakfast when we are in Puerto Rico. This is the type of place where you order your food at the counter then you can sit at one of their tables to eat or you can just take it home. Very nice and clean establishment, but the way they also speak English.

Ate next to the cleaning supplies.

Not great. Ordered a plain turkey and cheese sandwich with mustard and got one slathered in mayo and butter with pickles. I tried eating it but asked for just a third of a plain sandwich so I could eat something but they said no because I had already started eating the one they have me which they took. Horrible service. Barely ate, sat next to a mop and bucket and the bathrooms closed. Not going back.

Small but popular little bakery nice and clean inside super fast and friendly service , coffee here was fresh and the Tuna Sandwich was a hit each time I got it , if you like egg sandwiches then this is a spot for you personally I didn't try it cause I don't like eggs lol but it looked good also the shop is connected to the chicken spot so you can get both if you like

    Interior very clean.

What a gem!! I was staying at the Margaritaville Resort in PR. At the bottom of the hill was Rico Pan. We decided to try it out for lunch. We stepped into the restaurant and my attention immediately focused on a wonderful selection of bakery items. Remembering that I was there for lunch I decided on a turkey and cheese sandwich. The roll was delicious. They bake it fresh everyday. My hubby and son both had the #1 Rico Pan sandwich which had multiple selections of meat like ham, beef and turkey. This restaurant was so good that we stopped to get sandwiches and two loaves of bread before our drive to the airport.

Hopped into this bakery/restaurant for our last breakfast in Puerto Rico. The place was recommended…read moreby the hotel staff that said their pastries, sandwiches and breakfast were delicious. And, they were not wrong. The place is located on the corner of the busy highway and the street that leads up to the Wyndham Rio Mar resort. There is limited parking however you can park along the street and then walk down. The bakery itself is connected to another restaurant that serves broiled chicken and other delicious Puerto Rican bites. We had breakfast there and it was delicious. We ordered a beef pastelillo (empanada), a sandwich called bocadillo (IYKYK), lattes, and an egg scramble that came with a side of cloud bread (pan sobao). Everything was delicious here, again like most places you can share the breakfast except for the beef empanada. I ate half my sandwich and took the other half to eat on the way home. The ambience is nice, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The place is clean and there are plenty of tables and seating available. The chicken restaurant next-door, which they also run, was not open yet. I am definitely planning on coming back to have breakfast yet again and also try the chicken place next door. Enjoy! Ps. We were so hungry and a little short on time so unfortunately, I was not able to get pictures of the other food we ordered.
