I'm obsesses with their Iced Vainilla Latte! A good friend recommended it to me and since I tried it I don't want any other. To be honest I haven't tried any food item because I'm always on a hurry, but everything that comes out of the kitchen looks delicious. The ambience is great and they have friendly staff. I've been so many times to order the same thing that they already know me and always welcomes me with a big smile. My friend also told me that she loves the Ghandi's Coco Pumpkin Pancakes. I'm definitely doing another review soon about the food.
Stopped in for brunch after recommendations from locals. Short wait but service was good. Food and drink was good although small portion (or maybe I'm just greedy). I feel like I inhaled everything. Got a side of sweet plantains, which were delicious but just small I in portion compared to the price. I'd come back again though if I was staying additional days. Place has a great vibe, wifi and the drink was tasty.
Everything was great here. Really tasty and fresh. Cheeseburger was a little sweet so that's the only downside. The bowl was fantastic and they were generous with the additions of bacon and avocado and they were both perfectly done and ripened. The mashed root vegetables were fantastic as was the sautéed tomatoes and caramelized onions.
Tostado is a great cafe for breakfast and coffee. This was my local cafe while staying at an Airbnb in the neighborhood. Although the breakfast I had here was good, I stayed (and returned daily) for the coffee and window seating. They have a separate section for takeout and dine in but if you're getting just coffee etc, you can sit in the takeout area. During my morning visits I would sit in the takeout section drinking my cold brew and watch as people trickled in or out. The area has is big enough to host at least 5 groups of people meeting over beverages. I didn't get a chance to revisit here once I relocated to an Old San Juan hotel but I was happy to see that it has multiple locations. If you're looking for good food and even better coffee, tea, or matcha, you should definitely pop into here.
The only thing that would make this place perfect is by having charging stations available. It's a spacious, contemporary loft-like space with a homey feel. Service is swift but your wait may not be, for seating or food, especially on the weekends. Come with patiencia. A bevvy of Mimosas, Agua Frescas and Coffees, which will fit any mood. The Mocha with Coconut Milk wakes you ALL of the WAY UP! We had the Smoked Salmon Omelette with Goat Cheese, Saboa Toast and a side of mini (Silver Dollars) also, the Bacon and Cheese Omelette. Both were hearty, light, extremely flavorful. We had the Pulled Pork sandwich on a toasted bun and the Chicken Pesto in Sourdough, which was the better of the two sandwiches and worthy to take home. Sandwiches come with thinned sliced fried Yuca chips. Our Kayak Instructor (Luis of Night Kayak) recommended Tostado and glad he did. Excellent Instructor, Kayaking experience and Brunch!
After an early meeting, you may like a light and delicious lunch. If so, while in San Juan, get to Tostado in Loíza street. Try the Caprese and the Chicken Pesto sandwiches, together with Ocean Lab San Juan beers (local artesanal beer) -- healthy and delicious! Service is always great, and they super collaborative). The place has in-side and out-side tables, as well as parking (~$5.00). People often come here to eat healthy and to have a good time - and they deliver. Their ambiance is secure and friendly. Besides lunch, I highly recommend Tostado for brunch, with a great variety of Mimosas and local drinks.

The service here was nice considering how many people were there (we had to wait to be seated) and our waiter made sure to bring us anything we needed.
Favored by locals for early hours, fast service and a menu of Organic and Vegan items, Tostado* occupies a spacious storefront on Calle Condado, both it and a location further East serving identical menus populated by Burgers, Breakfast items and Salads. Local and sustainable, servers suggesting almost everything served is sourced in Puerto Rico, it is via QR Code that choices are made, the duo of French Toast Sticks and Vegan Pancakes made with Pumpkin and Coconut Milk each impressive while portion to price ratio is more than generous considering the Ingredients.
The waitress had the worst attitude out of anybody in PR. No smile, just RBF and she was not friendly. She seemed annoyed she had to be at work. She told me to pick a table and pointed to an area. So I picked one by the window. She said with attitude "no, obviously not a big table" no, its not obvious because you were not busy and there were so many empty tables. I ordered an egg omelet with fried veggies and ham. The egg was fried thin, not fluffy. Veggies were weird, it had tomato. I'm use to onion and bell peppers. latte was mid. Looking for a hipster place to avoid the morning heat and we stumbled upon this little gem! The exterior is quite deceiving, but when you enter it's quite the charm. Surprisingly, I found this place to be more affordable than most places around San Juan. Service was mid, nice-- but Minnesota nice if you know what I mean. We still enjoyed it, the vibes were just interesting? They also don't have ketchup. They charge for hot sauce but don't inform you prior. It's also very spicy green salsa. Overall, I enjoyed my toast and cup of coffee. Cool place. read more
The food was very fresh and delicious and did not take long at all. Everything was full of flavor and was the perfect first meal upon arriving to town. The servers were very attentive. The restaurant was simple and quaint but seemed to be under renovation so there was very loud banging and I'm not sure why they couldn't complete this during another time not so early in morning. The noise inside the restaurant was unbearable and we couldn't hear each other talk. We decided to sit outside because of this which was nice but the bees and rooster loved us a little too much lol. I would definitely go back and hopefully they are fully done with construction 8.5/10 read more

A wonderful breakfast and brunch spot, this small chain delivers well crafted coffees and a wide breakfast and lunch menu. Using local ingredients and suppliers, this is a place locals and tourists both agree on. read more

I would give this place 10 stars! The Breakfast Burger was AHMAZING! They use local ingredients, fresh juices and flavor everything well! The coffee was also great. An awesome place for brunch. There was a bit of a wait, but you can grab coffee while you wait which made it go by fast. read more

Pro Environment: very cozy- nothing fancy but a cafe homey feel! Service: the waiter was very nice. The small talks were very inviting and his service was great! Cost: a tad expensive for the size but totally worth it for the quality because everything is made in house! Uniqueness: nothing to crazy but the feel is very interesting Food: absolutely delicious! What a disappointment!!! I have been coming to this restaurant for years when I live in PR and today was awful. A root vegetable purée looked like stale dog food and not a purée. The waiter did removed it from the check but still you want to enjoy your complete meal. Service was soooo slow like way slower than usual. Too bad, this was one of my favorite places when I came back to PR. Won't be back for sure. Hopefully management gets a better handle of their restaurant. read more

I've been here a total of three times. The first time, we ordered lattes with almond milk. I must say, the coffee here is super strong, but still smooth. I don't get that bitter sweet taste I usually dislike with Puerto Rican coffee. My friend and I shared the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl is a little lighter--more vegetables and less carbs. The breakfast sandwich though, is yummy as well with a sausage type patty in between a cheese crusted muffin. The second time, I ordered the breakfast burger--which came with a mallorca "bun" and sprinkled with powdered sugar. I thought it might be a little weird because of the sugar, but it wasn't overwhelming. I also had a bite of the vegan pancakes--which look dense, and not very pancakey but are super good. The third time (can you see a trend?) I ordered the breakfast bowl. So healthy! Every single time I came, I came with another group/person and each time my accompanying parties reacted with the -- 'omg, this is so good!' Everything tastes fresh and you don't get that whole, I'm so full, why did I eat so much thing, but instead happily satisfied. The only thing I would say is that after the third time, I'm getting a little bored of the menu, as it is very limited. I understand, however, that it is a farm to table restaurant, and items themselves are probably limited. I would recommend and hope to return if there are changes to the menu! read more

We came here on day one of the quarantine (coronavirus) and weren't aware that restaurants had to stop indoor service. We pulled up to the side drive-thru-looking window and ordered an iced latte, avocado toast, and egg & bacon sandwich. Being the only customers in the vicinity, we were surprised at how long it took to make (what I perceived) a simple order. But maybe it was due to the day just starting and they had to start everything up in the kitchen? Since we couldn't sit inside (or even outside for that matter, since those tables belong to the restaurant next door--they share an outdoor area) we brought our food to the beach and ate there. Great location--just a 10 minute walk from the beach. Would come back to enjoy the indoor atmosphere and food. read more

Fantastic food, trendy atmosphere, reasonable prices. Came here on a Saturday morning for brunch and the place was packed with locals sharing mimosas and delicious plates. Had the French toast sandwich and a breakfast plate which included many things, most notably pumpkin pancakes. Also had an iced latte, all were amazing.The read more

I literally come here like 4 times a week. The food is quality, healthy, and delicious. The customer service is great, and consistent and if there is a wait, they are very communicative. They also have WiFi. With regard to the food, everything I have had has been delicious. I highly highly recommend this place. read more

What a gem!! We are visiting PR from Seattle and we needed a cafe with alt milks, amazing inside vibes, and vegetarian options. This place knocked it out of the park. They have an inside dining room that's spacious and air conditioned as well as an outdoor patio that's shaded with fans. The coffee was lovely, and they have a variety of breakfast and lunch foods. We tried the pumpkin pancakes, the harina de maíz (a corn porridge that was V TASTY) and the majado (mashed root veg) and I would recommend all of them. We went twice on our short trip because we liked it so much! read more

They moved the restaurant to Santurce...they need a sign rush; we are puertorricans and got lost in little Santurce :/ Service was not really what we were expecting. The girl tried hard, but she was by herself with all the tables. The restaurant was too small. The maizena was not sweet enough. The eggs benedictine were good and the natural juices a must have. The concept is good; but the lack service and embracing the whole breakfast experience is missing. Pricing is affordable. Service, service, service is the key! read more
