Unfortunately, a recent interaction with Peggy, the office manager, completely changed my perception. I reached out professionally--twice, for two separate businesses--and received dismissive and unnecessarily rude responses. As a fellow business owner, I understand receiving unsolicited emails, but there is a respectful way to decline interest without being condescending. Customer service and professionalism matter just as much after the event as they do during it. Based on this experience, I no longer feel comfortable supporting or recommending this business moving forward.

F and I went to our first show here in May after living in Trenton for 16 years. Shame on us! We didn't know what we were missing! After, we interviewed the Artistic Director, C. Ryanne Domingues for our podcast Trentonwaves.com, we immediately purchased tickets for the current show Morir Sonyando. The plays mounted in this theater are relevant to situations and events that impact the citizens of our City. The play was fantastic! A 3 person drama that was well acted, staged and directed. We can't wait for the upcoming season to see what's in store.

A volunteer always gives a good presentation speech. Also depending on the year they offer free coffee and cookies (they did this year). We are planning to come to the Trenton film festival which takes place soon. But you need to plan ahead in terms of snacks / tickets / restroom breaks. Some negatives: - Offer some sandwiches or something somewhat healthy for sale during intermission. In years past they had vendors but I guess these vendors don't want to sell there. - In the past I did "will call" for the tickets but they seem to get confused when you do that. So it is safest to bring your tickets printed out but they should accept more modern methods. - The ladies room is in disrepair. In the ladies room the stall door / wall literally started separating from the floor. So only one usable stall in the ladies room! This could be a safety issue as well. I told a staff member and she said she will tell the manager. I think the negatives are a result of budget issues but as other theaters are showing these types of films and there is more completion they will need to show some improvement.

It was freezing in there to the point I did not think that they had heat on at all. It was hard to even concentrate on the performance with how cold I was. The first performance had blankets as theatrical props and I thought about getting up and borrowing them to help me get through the other two acts. The space is huge and I am sure difficult and expensive to heat and cool. It is such a shame as the talent and concept was spot on. I hope that they can figure this out. Miss Lilly's Séance is a 40 minute dark ride without the pretzel cars that has you immersed in the…read moretheatricality and an interactive part of the experience. My wife and I drove three and a half hours to take part in Miss Lilly's Séance, three and a half hours to drive back home, and it was well worth the drive. Miss Lilly's Séance Parlor is located in Mill Race Village in Mt Holly NJ. It makes no bones about it being a theatrical recreation of a séance. If you're going with the intention of contacting dearly departed Aunt Boo, forget about it. But, if you're looking for some scares, a fun evening out and don't want to drive down to Disney World to see The Haunted Mansion, Miss Lilly's Séance Parlor is the ticket you should seek. You need to make reservations to attend the séance. Seating is limited to ten people per showing. The séance is run on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Don't be late, because show times begin promptly at the times noted. Parking is available in a lot adjacent to the house that Miss Lilly's Séance is held in. Spots should be available since most of the shops in the village close at 6pm and the first séance is at 7pm. The evening begins with you waiting on the narrow porch of what was once an abandoned house. Thomas Greenfield, the show's creator, comes out for the greeting and tells you that in a few moments the door will open and you will be invited in. You enter what looks like the inside of an abandoned building and you're invited to take a seat on the couches and chairs available in the living room. The show has begun. What happens next would be a spoiler to those looking to experience this for themselves, so I won't describe exactly what happens between the walls of Miss Lilly's seance. Instead I'll say that the experience is like being on an interactive dark ride (for those that know what a dark ride is). It's also like being the actor on the set of a séance movie and instead of the special effects being done post-production via green screen and CGI technology, the special effects are happening in real time all around you. Don't be afraid to interact and be a part of the evening. It's a thrilling ride unlike anything you've experienced before. It's open year-round. Make your reservations soon, because once word gets out about how cool this is, they'll be booked weeks, if not months in advance.

Over the past 7 years, we have watched him grow into a confident performer and person, and we know MacGuffin has had much to do with his progress. He loves participating in classes, open mic nights, productions, and camps, and he always comes away feeling like he has learned something new. The community is welcoming, supportive, and non-competitive. It is truly wonderful watching these kids grow up and perform while also forming lasting friendships.

There are crafters, vendors, food, and definitely plenty of drinks. The cornerstone of this event in my opinion is the costume contest. People go all out for this and it's really a sight to see! Every year it seems to attract more and more visitors. For this reason, I hope they get better at accommodating more visitors as it took an inordinate amount of time this year to get a drink. But it is still a blast and shouldn't be missed by the Halloween enthusiasts in the greater Philadelphia area!

If you're on a date, you'll probably want to make a reservation at the spooky Robin's Nest Restaurant at the opening of the outdoor festival, before meandering through the creepy, dark streets brimming with interesting characters. If you're on a friend date, you may want to avoid the intimate restaurant and head straight to the beer garden, the creepy teddy bear shop, or the ghost hunter store. Or, of course, the VooDoo Bar. Like the others have said, do NOT bring your kids here. You're ruining it for everyone when you do that crap. Two downfalls (aside from the kid infestation) of the event: -Lack of bathrooms -Lack of food vendors I stood in a line for some beautiful porta potties for what felt like a really-really long time. The guy behind me in line kept drunkenly yelling at the people in the stalls... as if they really wanted to take their time and enjoy themselves in there or something. After finally relieving myself, I then spent an absurd amount of time waiting for some chicken tenders. Get some more food vendors and bathroom options, Witches Ball, and you're golden.
